2nd time at this location in recent weeks & the service order was processed incorrectly while using drive-thru. Employees can barely be heard thru speakers & there is loud background noise. On twice occasion the employee was not paying attention & repeated back orders that were incorrect. Resulting in incorrect food items. One occasion included soft drink orders without carbonation. 2nd occasion included ordering the new chicken burger & what was received was a ‘plain’ chicken sandwich. Clearly not the item ordered. On 2nd occasion order with incorrect order, it was taken by Ursula. These kinds of action is what gives meaning to checking your order in package BEFORE driving off. It is disappointing & an inconvenience to discover food items not ordered. This has now happened TWICE at this location. I will conduct the service experience at

I’m not a fan of fast food but I do make an exception for breakfast items. Especially when I’m running late and need something quick to eat to get me through til lunch. I’ve only visited the drive thru in the morning. They aren’t the quickest but I’m guessing it’s because it’s so slow that everything is made to order. McDonalds down the street is definitely the popular choice so I’m sometimes opt for no line in the drive thru so I can get some French toast sticks. The French toast sticks aren’t anything special and it’s pretty much the same kind you can buy from the grocery store. I can’t complain, the ladies are always friendly and have a smile on their face.

People that work in here aren’t in a rush but my food has been consistently decent and hot.

Am I the only person here who’s had consistently decent service at this location? Burger King has the best onion rings on the planet. They are so deliciously crispy on the outside and the onion inside is sweet and slightly caramelized. It’s wonderful! When I’m jonesing for these delicious rings, I’ll stop in late at night or drive thru at midnight. The service is definitely slow at midnight, but the onion rings are ALWAYS made fresh when you go at night. Never soggy, always amazeballs. Oh, and their burgers are juicy and better than McDonald’s. What’s not to love?

Went in to order a simple whopper jr to hold me over till I got home for dinner, it was about 5:45 pm. Plus one for the Super fast service as they handed me my bag before i even handed her my debit card. This is where the experience started going down hill, the lady couldn’t seem to get my card to work, the manager came over and did the exact same thing. After repeatedly swiping my card she said«oh it’s not working» the manager rudely took the bag back from me. Luckily I had cash on me, I was still hungry but she had almost ruined my appetite. The next morning I happened to check my account balance and noticed that I was charged for this transaction 5 times. I around noon and was told to come down and they would take care of it, seemed simple enough. Went down a few hours later and asked for the manager, to my surprise it was the same lady as the day before. She instantly called over the other manager. The managers and 3 other employees came over to listen for reasons unknown to me. I explained the situation and showed them my account information showing the 5 transactions. They both insisted that I was wrong and the only was to settle this was by calling my bank, telling me that their closing numbers and transactions were all balanced for the previous day. Honestly as they began making a scene, I decided to agree and walk away as I realized this conversation wasn’t going anywhere. She than laughed and make a rude comment, that’s when I just walked out. Thanks King for having such a great management staff, thumbs up.

I have a problem with this Burger King. I like to drop in get one sandwich and a large icewater. Unlike Jack-in-the-Box or McDonald’s who will just sell me an ice water, this place Is going to charge me $ 3.40, the same prices for a soda. That’s insane. I don’t want the damn sugar. But if I’m going to pay that much then I might as well get the drink. The Burger King near the Blaisdale park in Pearl city is great. You can order what you want and ask for a large ice water and they give it to you for free. I will go there every time from now on. Wake up Burger King, you’re at the University. Students are broke. Be smart, there is more profit in selling water and I will keep coming.

I wrote only 1 review since having my Unilocal account but after witnessing what I saw today here’s another one. Customer service is whack! I don’t think they read their work syllabus coming from corporate or something because these people don’t know what customer service is. An elderly homeless woman walks in with coins in her hand and asks for coffee refill, some worker or manager asks for her receipt, she says she didn’t have it, this worker then walks away and ignores her completely. Myself, after already been helped, he approaches me and asks if I’ve been helped, keep in mind the lady is still standing there by the register waiting to find out if she can get her coffee or not. 3 workers walk passed the register completely ignoring who’s on the other side of the counter. After grabbing my order, I asked the guy worker if he’s gonna help her and he looks at me in a «wtf» look, so I asked again, and he goes with what? I said she wants to order coffee. I took $ 2 out of my wallet and told him«here, this is for her coffee, are you gonna help her now?» Idc if you have a home or not, We are all HUMANBEINGS! Stop treating people differently.

The staff here seemed to be very courteous willing to work with a family that had three rowdy, and possibly hungry toddlers running around. The food lived up to the brand we all know. I can’t knock the employee for misunderstanding me one bit, my engrish isn’t the best on the planet. I tend to write a whole lot better than I am able to speak. The worker was very patient with me in correcting my order and basically starting all over again. Love haven’t it my way all in all.

This review is just for their breakfast sandwich meals. Coffee taste junk, croissant/sausage/egg sandwich was soggy, meal expensive. McD or Jack taste better and less expensive.

Wow. Just wow. I came here to this burger King as my vehicle was at jiffy lube getting an oil change. No pets allowed, which sucks if you have a small pet with you. 1st time in hawaii that I ever heard that. Employees were all older for the most part. I didn’t know what the word«RACHET» meant until I came to this bk. The vibe sucked. The customer service was horrible. The lady got mad at me for wanting to make a small change on my order which meant for her grabbing a manager to make the change. So she turned around and went to the manager, but on the way she just gave this wtf look to a young employee named ROB which he started laughing as well. Just unprofessional and redicoulous. You have to come into this burger King thinking they don’t want you there lol. It’s mind boggling. UPDATEYOURCOMPUTERSYSTEMSSOTHATPEOPLECANCHANGESHITWITHOUTHAVING A MANAGEROVERRIDEANDMAKINGUSWAITLONGER! I hope I never see this bk again. I will try to avoid it as much as possible. Three stars. A-OK. I used to be more of a Burger King fan, but since Teddy’s Burgers opened on Beretania Street, I just can’t help comparing the two establishments. Plus, three burger meals for my kids and me after a hike recently set us back more than twenty dollars! We spent about the same amount in a Chinese restaurant recently, and got three dishes and tea. And it was healthier. I just won’t try the«three cheese Whopper» again. It seemed to be just three slices of the same type of «American» cheese. Not a winner in my book. Still, Burger King will suffice in a pinch!

Just wow! Grabbed 3 Whopper Jrs for hungry kids this afternoon. The buns were really hard, almost crunchy. The lettuce was brown and not just a little, I mean mostly brown. To top it off, cashier couldn’t get my card to swipe and had to call a manager over. Miraculously, he managed to complete the transaction on his first attempt. Pretty sure I’ll do my best to avoid this place from now on.

Not only is their food not actual food, it is shutting down the processes of your liver which is clogging your arteries & ultimately giving you high cholesterol, heart Attacks and strokes. Of course it is a choice to eat this stuff, but your mind, heart and soul deserve better choices. And has anyone noticed the amount of smoke/pollution coming out of this restaurant? I don’t see any other places producing that much smoke… Stop polluting our earth, our bodies and our minds Burger King…

I know I shouldn’t eat fast food but I stopped by a couple times cause it was late and on my way home. Big mistake. I’ve eaten at Burger King before and it seemed better than the other fast food joints. This place, however, is just awful. Order comes out wrong, food is cold, old and sorry. I felt sick after eating each time. Never again. This place is like a black hole of sorrow that eats your happiness when you make eye contact with it. Avoid. I Crush Your Head!

Grilled chicken sandwich, no mayo, no fries. Healthy post bar alternatives available. The quality was good here. I tend to eat a lot of grilled chicken at various fast food locations. I’ve not seen their breast size shrink over the years which is pretty much the case for a lot of other fast food chains. Drive through service was fast and friendly but no bonus points for that at 1am.

What the HECK happened to FAST food? Twice now, the sloooooooooooooooooooooow service at this Burger King(couple with my running behind schedule) has made my daughter tardy for school. While breakfast in the car is, admittedly, far from optimal, sometimes necessity calls. First time I drove through, I was the second car in line, and figured it was smooth sailing. Ordered some basics and a coffee for myself, paid, and… sat there. And sat there. And sat some more. Engine idling. Waiting… waiting… waiting. Nearly 10 minutes later, we were on our way, but given my daughter’s school policy, we arrived a minute after the bell and she was marked tardy. Sigh. A couple weeks later, some drill. Running late, needed some QUICK breakfast, and there was no line. «Score!(I thought.) They can’t make us late this time!» Well, it was kind of like challenging the universe to prove me right, and we were not only waiting for nearly 10 minutes again, by the time we finally got the food, they’d forgotten my coffee. Screw it. We were late, and I was seething. How could they not, oh, plan ahead and pour the coffee while prepping the food? It’s not even like they had customers in the restaurant!(I know, because I was watching them, cursing, «You don’t even have anyone inside!!! What is going on?!?») Ultimately we were late again. Daughter marked tardy again. Forget it! I’ll never be back for breakfast again. Especially not under the pretense of drive-thru efficiency.

Once in a great while, I have a lil Burger King craving for their flame broiled burgers and fries. So, knowing this is the only one that I know of, naturally, I’ll just hit this place up. On my most recent visit, not only they didn’t fulfill my order right, the burger I ordered was so pathetically put together, I swear a 2 year old can do a better job. It was entirely sloppy and noticed it was missing some crucial ingredients like onion. As I only found out afterwards, it wasn’t worth a drive back there to get it straightened out. I’ll definitely be more careful from now on though as I will check the bag before I leave. 100 Reviews, 1 Day 50⁄100 January 12, 2013 OOOOOOHWE’REHALFWAYTHEREOOOOOOHLIVINON A PRAYER

I revisited this Burger King today after a long time — probably 15 years. I guess all the Burger Kings are the same. I liked this one due to the parking ease, and not over crowded. There was no line for ordering. I had a soft ice cream, about $ 1.00. Actually tasted better than the one from McDonald. I like the purple chairs too. Nice place to cool. next time, I will try their sweet potato fries.

After weeks of eating McD dipped cones, I got so sick of it that we had to change it up. We started going to BK for their soft serve. It is really good, better than McD. Texture is harder and more icy and cold, while McD is more soft and creamy. You have to try their brownie sundae… so good. They even serve the brownie warm. Icee floats are also one of my favs. They also never have a drive thru line like King st or Kahala McD.

I recently read an article about Burger King being the first fast-food joint to start using cage-free pork and chicken. There is definitely a long way to go in terms of animal treatment and production(anyone watch the movie Earthlings?), but I guess it is a step in the right direction. Props for Buger King, +1 star. Otherwise, I’d rather go to McDonalds. I know the menu at McDonalds and don’t have to ask about what kind of dipping sauces they have… Me: «5 piece chicken strips, please» Cashier: «what sauce you like?» Me: *frantically trying to find the list of options on the menu* «Uhhhhhh…what kind do you have?» Cashier: «you want BBQ?» *looking bored* Me: «No thanks… are there any others?» Cashier: «5 piece chicken strips with BBQ sauce.» –_____– I finally found the list, no thanks to her… there wasn’t even a line of people behind me.
