So good! It was tough to pick which one to try but I went with the Cuban! Great choice. It was delicious. Also tried the sweet potato fries. They were a little different then I expected but still good. They were more like wedges and came with a great sauce.

Excellent service, had the Elvis burger which seemed awkward to see peanut butter and strawberry jam with a burger but it surprisingly was very delicious. Setting was nice to be with, definitely would recommend to family and friends!

I had the Carolina burger with poutine and it was awesome exactly what I wanted! Cheese is melted instead of fried on the poutine… still good

Went to Rok: Brgr to eat dinner for Mother’s Day. There was no crowd whatsoever which was an A+ for me lol. I ordered the Turkey Burger which was alright and Truffle fries which were delicious. I don’t recall what my husband and daughter ordered but they liked them. I’ll try them for brunch but as far as dinner was concerned, it was alright. Nothing to really brag about.

This was our third time here. We absolutely love the burgers. And usually, we are obsessed with the jalapeño pepper poppers. Today, they just weren’t hot enough. But, still good. And our burgers were cooked to perfection. The best part of our visit, our server, Kara. From the first moment, we loved her. Great personality. Spot on recommendations. She’s a breath of fresh air. Now, here’s the disappointing part. I ordered my burger with no bun, wrapped in lettuce instead. When we got the bill, we noticed there was a $ 1 upcharge… FORLETTUCE! We were speechless. Since when does a restaurant charge for lettuce. Since when is lettuce more costly than a bun? That is just crappy customer service. I spoke to the manager and he said we weren’t the first people to have this complaint, and that he would be bringing it up at a meeting tomorrow. It’s this kind of thing, despite the awesome service, that will keep people like me from coming back. I hope they fix it.

The burgers here are Ridiculously good and cooked exactly how we requested! Our waitress was very attentive and made awesome recommendations. We say at the outside bar me enjoyed the vibe inside and out. Can’t wait to come back and try Sunday brunch… in the very near future.

The burgers here are out of this world. They didn’t get five stars because I was not impressed with the waitress service. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for Gourmet burgers, I’ve told everyone I know about it . The Sweet Caroline is my fave! The presentation and all industrial décor vibe is awesome!

A small group of us stopped here on a recent Saturday afternoon for a late lunch while on our way to watch a few races at nearby Gulfstream Park. We were seated right away, and our server was exceptional. She asked if any of us had been to ROK: BRGR before, and when a few said they hadn’t, her spiel was a bit rushed and robotic. but aside from that, she was spot on the rest of the day and she got every order correct(one in our group needed a gluten free bun, another only wanted pickles on her burger, some wanted truffle fries, etc.). Once our meals arrived, she was there to offer more ketchup or sauces(they don’t put bottles of ketchup or condiments on the tables here. rather, they give you little silver cups of ketchup, BBQ sauce, etc.) She also returned in good time to offer drink refills, though we could tell she was very busy as she was serving several tables both inside and out on the patio in front. Most all the burgers with fries here were about $ 15 on average, I had the Farmhouse Burger which featured gruyère cheese, caramelized onions, a fried egg and garlic aioli. My burger was good, but not amazing. It certainly wasn’t something that would cause me to rush back here immediately to have another. In the end, everyone seemed satisfied with their meals and the food gets a solid 3 stars, but I’m bumping up to 4 just because our server was that good! The only real suggestion would be that they add some TVs to the front area of this restaurant; As it is, most screens are on the back and side walls, so those facing the other direction while seated had to turn around to see what others at the table were viewing/talking about.

Calamari is a great way to preface any entrée, and when said entrée contains seafood, it too becomes a product of necessity. The Salt & Pepper Calamari bears a crispy texture that’s actually soft to the touch, and the tangy sauce it’s served with is much like the one served at most asian restaurants. It easily exceeded my expectations as not only the best calamari that I’ve had at any restaurant«chain», but because it was nearly as good as all the restaurants I’d been to that aren’t restaurant chains. The Lay’s Crusted Fish & Chips features an interesting twist on the British staple, with five pieces of cod fish, deep fried in batter that contains fragments of Lay’s® Classic Potato Chips. This dish is served with fries(chips) that taste astonishing great, almost as though they were baked in wine. And, it’s difficult to identify exactly where the flavour’s coming from, because neither the texture nor the colour offer any hints. I had the opportunity to interact with five different members of the staff. All were polite and courteous. I would certainly come back.

Went here with a colleague after work. We were doing some office décor shopping in the area. We sat outside. Had great service. I can’t remember which burger I had I just know I ordered what the waiter told me to and I was really happy! Should try to get here more often!

The truffle burger is probably one of the most fantastic burgers my mouth has ever had the pleasure of tasting. I admit that I’m a sucker for anything truffle, but can you blame me? Truffle has always been a thing of decadence and my taste buds agree. On top of that, mushrooms and truffle oil are honestly just a match made in heaven. Pair that with a bun and medium-rare beef and you’ve got the burger I’ve been dreaming about ever since I left! Can’t wait to go back!

I visited Rok Brgr with 19 of my coworkers when in SoFla for a conference. It was a cute place and they had an awesome menu — lots of great sounding foods and a huge craft beer selection. We ordered a 3 each of a few appetizers — loaded tater tots, spinach artichoke dip, and calamari. The presentation was awesome. Lots of simple fry baskets, cookie sheets, and other basic kitchen staples. Each of the dishes were equally delicious. All seasoned and cooked well, all served piping hot. For an entrée I ordered the South Floridian, which was a burger with«creamy brie, durok pork belly, and red onion marmalade.» It also came with truffle aioli on the side, but I never used it. The burger was rich, flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. It was a bit heavy(shocking, I know) so I could only eat half. Instead of having regular fries as my side, I upgraded to the poutine. Again, they were super rich and heavy, so I only had a few, but I wanted to at least try them. I also discovered my new favorite beer! It’s Monk in the Trunk from the Inlet Brewery and I cannot wait to check ABC back home in Orlando to see if they carry it. So good! We only had 1 server for the whole group, and we had some difficult/demanding personalities to deal with. He did a great job taking them in stride and brought everything out in a timely manner. I’d definitely go back if in town!

So Sunday Brunch was interesting. «I’m awake! I’m awake!!» I shouted as we walked through the patio as the«Brunch DJ» was blasting a rave remix(at least it seemed like something you would hear at a rave) of «Don’t Stop Believing.» No! Seriously. That was the song and some genius thought that of all songs would be great as a rave remix. Did I mention that Hubby and I have an amazing ability to find the best daytime rave spots in South Florida? We don’t seek them out mind you. We just seem to find them. Trying to get away from the boom, boom, boom of the rave remix, we bolted inside to check in and much to my discontent, it was loud inside also. It was at that moment that I decided that I am officially old. I really was thinking of some nice patio dining with some tasty food. Hubby likes sitting outside, and he wanted a burger. The reviews and pics looked pretty good for ROK, so this is where we landed. We just had no idea that Brunch included the dance party tunes also. We were seated outside, but not far away enough from the speakers I am afraid. So the next few minutes were pretty comical. I wasn’t sure, but I guessed the server was asking for our drink order, so I pointed to the menu where it said«Free Mimosas with Entrée for the Ladies,» and smiled. The comedy started with Hubby(Doesn’t it always?). He wanted a beer, but made the mistake of asking what kind of beer they had. The server listed them off, but he could have been telling Hubby to go jump in the lake for all we knew. WECOULDN’T HEARHIM. Finally Hubby signaled some magical way which meant to bring him a beer menu. So Hubby was finally able to gesture the beer he wanted. As for the food, again, I pointed to the burger menu item I wanted and shouted, «Medium Rare!» and smiled. Hubby had a bit more difficulty ordering his because he had to pull the server close and I was actually little nervous watching that transpire. With our orders taken, I thought I would grab my phone and check in, and about the time it took me to do that, the waiter comes back with both our orders. My jaw dropped. Hey I love fast service, as I am really as impatient as they come. I really am, but this bothered me. I don’t think it was more than two minutes between the time we ordered and the food making it to our table. There is no way they cooked our burgers just for us. These were precooked and likely pre-assembled, which made this feel more like a trip to McDonalds than a nice brunch out. My burger was juicy, but it didn’t seem to have a nice crust on it at all. It could have been microwaved with the texture of it. The tater tots tasted like they had been sitting out and were underwhelming also. Now I am a much more picky eater than Hubby, and even though I couldn’t hear what he was saying, I knew he wasn’t happy either. We were both eager to get our check and go. The server was a real trooper. I think he did a good job under those conditions. I may want to give this place another try as I can’t imagine all the good reviews would have happened if things were like we experienced.

It’s hard to beat Rok Brgr’s Monday special. $ 10 any burger with fries. All day long. The Fat Elvis burger was my favorite of the night. It had peanut butter, thick cut pepper bacon, and local strawberry jam. It was a pleasant combination of savory and sweet. The thick cut pepper bacon is what persuaded us to order and split it. Perfectly crispy and salty. If there’s a burger with bacon on it, I must order it. We found a big extra dollop of peanut butter on the tray. Jackpot! I dipped every bite I could into it. I might need to order extra peanut butter and jelly next time. I’ve ordered this burger at the South Miami location, and it was properly made here at Hallendale. South Miami forgot my strawberry jam. I also shared the South Floridian burger. The burger was topped with creamy brie cheese, duroc pork belly, red onion marmalade, and truffle aioli. While the taste of the pork belly was great, it was hard to get a piece of it in every bite. I ended up cutting up the pork belly into little bits. I also tried some of the Sweet Caroline burger and it was as described. A big bite of the Carolinas with cheddar, bbq short rib(love meat on meat), creamy coleslaw, fried onions, and bourbon bbq sauce. It was tangy and the coleslaw was a great contrast to the meats. The FRIES. They were perfectly crispy. I guess the burgers we order often come with a side of truffle aioli and the fries go perfectly with this indulgent dip. You can also substitute the regular fries that are included for poutine or loaded tater tots for an extra $ 4. We tried both and were excited that they were both amply«loaded» with toppings. The poutine was better than expected. Tons of cheese chunks and tasty gravy. The wait for our party of four was 30 mins. We were able to wander the grounds, visit the fountains, and window shop because they text you when your table is ready. Service was friendly and attentive. Better than the South Miami service. The food doesn’t come out super fast because they are swamped on Mondays but it was worth the wait. I don’t know where else you can get a tasty burger and fries for ten bucks. I just wish they had inventive non alcoholic drinks or milkshakes to go along with their burgers.

In my R. Kelly voice — My mind telling me no, but my body, my body’s telling me yes. I don’t see nothing wrong… with another bite. That’s how I felt after three bites. I asked out server what he recommended and he said close your eyes and point because everything is excellent. We had the South Floridian which consists of creamy brie, duroc pork belly, red onion marmalade, and truffle aioli and the Sweet Caroline; aged cheddar, bbq short rib, creamy coleslaw, fried onions, and bourbon bbq. They were both very delicious.

Love the new location at Gulfstream! What took so long?! ;-) We’ve been a few times now for both Sunday Brunch and for Lunch and I love the mere mention of even going there. You can take in a low key lunch or enjoy the DJ and live it up for Sunday brunch. Let’s start with the downside. the service. it’s really not the best. I don’t want to feel completely ignored nor do I want to feel like someone is right on top of me. I want to feel like I’m being carefully attended to. Ha! All that being said. the spotty service is worth it when the end result is the food. Ahh. the Food. Sunday brunch = Free Mimosa’s for the Ladies! Jackpot! My fiancé had the Elvis Waffles and loved it. I was’t able to try it(damn peanut allergy)! I had the Rok Brgr Hash and it was phenomenal! Who doesn’t love a potato, chorizo, cheese and egg combo?! Crazy people. that’s who! On to Lunch. the Fried Pickles. Yup! The pickles, the breading, the Ranch dipping sauce. Yum! The Truffle Burger(onions, mushrooms & truffles) is absolutely amazing — p. s. Add the Truffle Fries. great combo! Want to go a bit healthy? Try the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad(minus the pistachio crusting for me). Sooooo Good! I am completey obsessed with beets lately. So, yeah… There is something on the menu for everyone! Brunch, Lunch or Dinner. Go check it out! You will not be sorry.
