Five Guys Burger and Friesa

My friend and I have been routinely going to BurgerFi in Hallandale once/​week ever since they opened. SO when Five Guys opened their business we were curious to see how their burgers compared. NO COMPARISON! BurgerFi was noticeably better and so was the atmosphere.
Five Guys was cramped… very cramped and their food was, at best, average. One visit was enough for us!

I would call this joint retro 50’s burger and I don’t see why it has such a cult following. The burger, which is the main event, is just a double grease burger. It was so greasy that it came running down my chin. The fries are ok and lots of ‘em. but their prices are a tad high (almost $ 7.00 for a burger). Why not pay a tiny bit more and go accross the street to Flanagans or the Upper Deck? I think there are certain health issues here as well and so does Men’s Health magazine which stated on their web site that Five Guys’ meals are generally considered unhealthy.[22] They state that a standard double patty burger, for example, contains 700 calories and 20 grams of saturated fat.[22] Men’s Health also rated Five Guys’ french fries as some of the most unhealthy food in America, saying that a standard large order of fries contains almost 1,500 calories.[23] The Center for Science in the Public Interest placed Five Guys’ bacon cheeseburger, which it claims contains 920 calories, among its 2010 list of most unhealthy meals available at U.S. chain restaurants.
I was taking a photo for Unilocal and the manager said I would have to leave because company policy prohibits the use of cameras due to the sensitive help whomay get in a picture and don’t want their images published. What a joke! The Ritz Carlton welcomes Unilocal photos and this greasy dump takes umbridge; get serious.
I also don’t know if this location is bona fide since the name is not consistant with the website. They have added FRIESA to the end of the name. Who cares; it’s a long walk way out of the way off of Hallandale Beach Blvd.

I just don’t see the love affair with all the burger joints popping up. Is it a better burger then the fast food chains! yes, it’s also better then burger FI, but for the price I’d rather go get almost any bar burger done rare!.. The fries there where really good.
They opened a couple of months ago and only had 1 or 2 other patrons 12:30 in the afternoon. They are right next to Sage!
