Pat M.

Manager

Chef Pat is a Culinarian who is always looking to expand and refine his education and training in the food service industry. He is a graduate of Alvin Community College Culinary Arts Department with duel Associate of Arts Degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Hotel & Restaurant Management along with a business degree from the University of Texas. Chef Pat is a proud member of Texas Chef Association, American Culinary Federation and was asked to join his Alma Mata and chair the Alvin Community College Culinary Arts Advisory Committee in 2008 to assist facility in creating the number one culinary arts school in Houston.

Chef Pat has been featured in Plate Magazine, feed Royalty, been featured in multiple local newspaper stories and also appeared on the Food Network show, All American Festivals.

I had the opportunity to try their pulled pork. It was wonderful. I usually like adding sauce but to my surprise — sauce was not needed. I would recommend you try them for your next event!

Pat & Denise have served our week long training ‘camps’ for several years. Have never been disappointed and our trainees give rave reviews of the meals each time. .(3 times a day for 4 days). Southern Elegance is THE BEST!!!

I haven’t had a catered event but I have ordered Southern Elegance’s pulled pork and pumpkin roll (over the holidays) as well as had some samples of some brisket and flat steak… all superb — moist and delicious. I have also had the pleasure of listening to Chef Pat talk about BBQ and the right and wrong way to do it and it was educational and interesting (plus the samples which just proves he was right). I have gotten to know Chef Pat in networking and his passion for cooking and serving others is just hands down. I would highly recommend him for any catering services you may need.

I attended a 4 day training class last week and we were fortunate in being catered all days by «Southern Elegance». We were served 3 of the most wonderfully prepared meals a day (and each meal was very healthy)!! I highly recommend this catering service and will request this service when given the asked.
