Hercules Movers & Packers

If I could I would give negative 10 stars. These guys are thieves, liars, swindlers, and pieces of sh**. They tripled our estimate, held our goods hostage at delivery, damaged our goods and even lost items that have not been recovered. They offered $ 200 to cover our items… run away from them, do NOT accept calls from them!!!

Since posting this review I have received 7 more phone calls from this company. I miss these calls because I am at work or busy packing. I have called to ask them to stop calling me but the only option I get is to leave a message, which I have done. I have send 2 emails asking them to stop. None of my requests to be left alone by this company are working. So in just 6 days, I have received 14 phone calls! The also don’t leave messages when they call now.

I moved from Austin to Houston and hired these guys because they seemed to work for a great company, and promised that if anything was broken they would pay you back 100%. But if you don’t have the receipt for your purchase that’s definitely not true. They will not take your word for what you say tell them you paid for something, they’ll take it into their own hands and put the price they think you should have paid on it. I moved three weeks ago now, they keep telling me they’ll only pay me back $ 150 for an item I told them I paid $ 200 for. This is unacceptable. The customer is always right, the movers were so slow, and ended up charging me an extra two hours for something that usually only takes movers two hours to do. This the third moving company I’ve used, and I can say that I will never be using Hercules Movers again. After weeks of going back and forth with these people everything was finally resolved.

Exactly as what I was promised. When I booked the job they gave me a flat rate binding estimate for a local move of 3 bedroom apartment. I appreciate their service for two reasons:
First, the price didn’t change at the day of the move (not even one dollar).
Second, the movers were amazing I mean even though it was binding estimate (not by hr), they still were extremely careful with my stuff and my apartment. They wrapped everything so nicely, that I was amazed. They wrapped my china cabinet in a way that no moving company have done before. After the move, I called to the office and I told Lisa that I am very pleased with the service. By the end of April my daughter is moving back from Austin to Houston, and I am def going to hire them for this move. Great Job!
