«No Lemon» Guarantee

If the compressor in your Air Conditioner fails during the lifetime of ownership, or the heat exchanger in your furnace cracks during the lifetime of ownership, we will remove the entire unit, rather than just the component, and install a completely new unit.

Comfort Guarantee

We guarantee that when properly designed systems are installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating and maintenance manuals, your system will perform as we have agreed upon. If the desired comfort is not achieved, we will make any repairs needed to your desired temperature at no charge to you for a period of 3 years. Our Efficiency & Safety Agreement make it easy for you to have a worry-​free system.

My name is Myriam Rios and I am the owner of Qualtech Heating and Cooling for over 8 years. We have been in the Bay Area residential HVAC industry for over 20 years, and we bring extensive customer service knowledge to the heating and air conditioning industry. I started Qualtech Heating and Cooling with one key concept in mind, «Committed to Quality, Value and the Environment». It is our vision to provide all our local Bay Area communities with honest, efficient service. We listen to the needs of our customers and we hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Qualtech did an outstanding job on all levels ! Daniel, their Consultant came out on time to give me an estimate on a new heating and air conditioning unit, he was very thorough, courteous and answered all of my endless questions and e-​mails .After spending 2 months interviewing HVAC Company’s, reading all of the reviews I chose Qualtech who I felt comfortable with, and met my budget. I’d like to thank the Team who did an ACE JOB installing my HVAC Unit including the removal of an old A/​C Unit, the rough patch job to fill in the hole was perfect. The Installers on my HVAC Installation were Jesus, Rigo, Miquel and Daniel who is the person in charge. I’m proud to support a woman owned company, Myriam, the owner was always there with scheduling and follow up.

Waited 6 days for them to come out. They called me day of appointment and said they needed to push my appointment out 4 more hours. I told them fine, they showed up not 4 hours but 6 hours later. The guy who came out then said my issue is I have a dual zone Air Conditioner and that is why my air flow from one duct isnt working. 1st off he didnt look at anything, he immediately tried to up sell me a new set up.
Next he said he would have to have another service tech come out and that would be 1 more week, I explained that I had given a detailed explanation of our issues and that he can leave my house now. Do not call this company they are as shady as it gets. Wasted a week on people who are dishonest and not reliable.

Last year I replaced the furnace and this year I put in central air. Both experiences awesome. Great price. Great service. Took most of the day both times, but I felt comfortable with the guys so I came and went.
Prices were better than other quotes and I wasn’t told I needed other services or products. Other companies always try to upset you.

I should of write this review long time ago but it is never too late to warn all to NOT to use this horrible co. I called them to see why I am not getting cool air last summer during the 80 – 100 degrees heat at my house. They came and a person by the name of Alvarez told me that I need to change my A/​C. My A/​C was only 2 years old! I followed his advise of a so called expert and did not second guess them. After paying $ 5,000 I still do not get cool air through out my house. I called this guy Alvarez and told him that I am still in same condition he came and did some «chicken-​S*%#» adjustment in air flow and left. The next day I still the same problems and I called them again. This time this guy refused to come and told me that is my problem now and he need to go other customers… Really! I guess I will see them in the court!

I can not say enough about this company, from the initial response time, to the timely completion of the project. I had 2 furnaces that needed to be replaced, after having Qualtech come out a week ago, and do a thorough inspection of both units. Daniel, the owner, did not try to up sell me on anything, and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. They prepared a quote for me within 24 hours, and were flexible with my timeline as to installation dates. Miguel and Jesus arrived at the specified time, and were very respectful (booties the moment they walked in), and courteous, but most of all, quite willing to answer all of my questions, as to the process. In addition, they were incredibly neat and cleaned up after themselves. Technically, these guys knew exactly what they were doing, and checked out everything, from the ductwork under the house, in the attic, to the soldering of the copper pipe to the AC compressor. Real pros, and extremely competitive pricing. As a realtor in the Danville area, I would not hesitate to recommend Qualtech to anyone in need of HVAC services.

Well, I had a different experience than the couple of low ratings on here… Because I had read that they were late or did not call at all. I was not prepared this morning when Jennifer called at 9:45 for my 10 – 1 window! She told me Daniel would be here in a half an hour, so I scrambled to get ready. He and Raymond (I think) showed up promptly, and assessed the problem and fixed it in less than an hour therefore, getting me to work! I think they are friendly, professional, and well worth 5 stars! Also, the person who commented that they were there for approx ½ an hour and charged yada yada, apparently has never had a serviceman to their home to fix an appliance? I feel I got off easy, as the last guy took 5 weeks to get a problem fixed and Qualtech had all parts needed on the truck! They have my vote…

QualTech is really the best service company I have dealt with. They are on time, polite, efficient, polite, technically expert, polite, and did I say On Time! We just had our furnace fail due to a major part breaking. The technician Dan, arrived when promised on a Saturday and quickly diagnosed our problem. It was a special order item, so they rushed it for delivery. It was also a very cold time to be without heat.
All is now up and running and I feel confident the repairs were done properly. Good people. Great Service.

Our heater broke two days after Christmas. The weather was pretty cold here in the Bay Area that week between Christmas and New Years. I called some people we had service the furnace in the past and they couldn’t come for a week. After two friends recommended Qualtech I called and they came out the next day. The furnace was 25 years old so we decided it was time to replace it. The office staff, technician and gentlemen that installed the new furnace were all professional, efficient, courteous and on time. We had heat again on New Year’s Eve. We would highly recommend the Qualtech team.

I am so glad my Diablo homeowner friend referred me to Qualtech Heating & Cooling to diagnose and repair my faulty AC. It was around 98 degrees outside when my AC stopped blowing cold air in all of my interior vents. Shortly after, on 9÷12÷15, I called Qualtech Heating & Cooling and was quoted a reasonable rate of $ 65 service call waived if repairs were made. I appreciated the prompt appointment. In my opinion, Qualtech Customer Service follow-​up and follow-​through is outstanding. Daniel, the highly skilled Qualtech professional replaced the AC starter which quickly solved the problem! The repair price was acceptable. An added bonus is the excellent warranty that came with the repair work. Qualtech offers some coupons on Unilocal which I did not know at the time. I am pleased to recommend Qualtech Heating & Cooling!

I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. I had a simple fix that was needed to my Nest Thermostat in order for it to run correctly. I called on a Tuesday and they came out on a Thursday. Two gentlemen showed up and they brought booties to wear into my house, which is always a great service when a company does that. They were so nice and went above and beyond!
I wasn’t familiar with Qualtech prior to my repair. I chose them because, they were on the recommended list from Nest. I had seen their trucks several times in my neighborhood so I chose them over anyone else.
Great experience and I would use them again and will recommend them!

We would like to thank Daniel & the Qualtech team for taking such good care of us. We had our Water Heater, Heater & AC unit go out all at the same time. It was over 100 degrees that day but they worked all day to get our AC working & water heater installed so we were comfortable :)

Had an appointment for Saturday from 3 – 6: they never showed. No answer when leaving a message on their voice mail. I guess the assumption is ice nothing better to do than wait around my house fur three hours on a Saturday.
I can’t understand a company committing to a service call and then just completely dropping the ball. If you can’t do the job. Tell me. Ridiculous

My experience with Qualtech was nothing short of superb! I had a whole new AC and Furnace system installed. My equipment was 31 years old and on its last legs.
When I first met Daniel who is one of the owners, he impressed me as someone who was genuine, and professional. I had a budget in mind, and he tailored job to my budget. The deal was excellent! The equipment they installed is far better than I thought I could achieve given my budget. The installation was a whole day process that went pretty smoothly. His installation crew were professional and courteous, and they left the project totally spotless before they left at the end of the day.
So far the furnace has been operating very well, nice and quiet too; haven’t had an opportunity to run the AC yet due to the unusual weather we’ve been having. They also installed an Attic Fan, and that hasn’t automatically turned on yet due to it not getting hot enough to do so. But I will follow this review up by this summer letting you all know about the AC & Attic Fan performance.
