Let me make this clear up front: I could not be happier with the quality of the service I received from Kel Aire and their technician Matt. Absolutely outstanding. Had Kel Aire send a technician to my home when the central heat system quit working this past weekend. I called on Monday morning and they were able to get someone to my home on Thursday morning. I was quite happy as two other outfits I called had longer lead times. Not surprisingly, this is a busy time of year for furnace repairs. The office person called me when the technician was leaving his first job of the day to come to my home. This was very helpful to me as it avoided me just waiting around all morning for the tech to show up. Instead I left work and met the technician there. The tech’s name is Matt, and he arrived on time and went right to work troubleshooting my 25-​year old Carrier furnace. He quickly figured out that the igniter was bad. Matt showed me the part and where it had failed. He also clearly explained the cost of the replacement part and associated labor before starting so there would be no surprise. Fortunately he had one on the truck so he was able to complete the job right then. After replacing the part and confirming that the system was working again, Matt cleaned the burners, checked the current draw on the blower motor, and the general condition of some of the other key components. Matt also clearly explained how the overall furnace system works, giving me a better understanding of it. Kel Aire will be first and only outfit I call in the future if I need furnace repair or replacement.

Very friendly and amazing customer service. They were also very responsive and reasonably priced. Will definitely continue to use in the future.

Recently my floor heater quite working. Matt from Kel-​Aire repaired it. He showed up on time, was very courteous, well informed, and efficient. Also, the bill was reasonable! I highly recommend this company.

After purchasing my home there was some potential HVAC work I needed completed and I had got several opinions. I contacted Kelaire based on a referral and could not have been happier. Rob came out to my house early one morning and assessed the issue. He explained the details of the problems clearly and was able to write me an estimate later that day. The work required the coordination of several contractors (I.e general contractor, plumbers, etc…) and Rob and the folks at Kelaire worked to meet my deadlines. The person that did the work on my unit, «cowboy,» was knowledgeable and did gray work. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

You hope you never have to all the HVAC guys, but if (when) you do, these are good guys. I feel they are honest and ethical. My experience is they are prompt, efficient, do a thorough job. I also appreciate that they make a serious effort to be neat and tidy, leaving no mess behind.

Our air conditioner stopped working on the hottest day of the year. Since it was evening we left a message with Kelaire and by 8 am the next morning we had an appoibtnent scheduled for that day. Matt fixed the unit in less than 30 minutes and we were cool again.
We have used this company for our heating and air conditioning for many years. They are a great company with the best customer service.

If there were ten stars, they deserve it. We live in a condo unit with insane home owners rules. Rob and his team have jumped through about twenty hoops for us. The final product is a very well designed and operating AC system. I can’t say enough positive things about Kel Aire. They are now my «go to» company! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install an Air Conditioning system.

First time using this company. I was given a quote over the phone with what the expected charges were going to be before the visit. I was late to meet the appointment time, called the office an hour ahead of time and they accommodated me by coming 1 hour later. The technician introduced himself, presented me with his business card was professional and knowledgeable, he had the spare part in the van and the gas valve was isolated, replaced and checked out in 45 minutes. It helps if you do a little troubleshooting and reading the equipment manual yourself before the technician comes out so you have some idea of what they are talking about and feel more comfortable and confident with their diagnosis. Will keep their card and call them back again if I need heating services, Note; As a rule, I never give 5 stars unless I have multiple positive experiences with the same business.

Yet another EXCELLENT experience with Kel-​Aire Heating & Air Conditioning! They recently installed new Payne HVAC in our 50’s ranch home and we are very happy with their work! Thanks to Rob, Cowboy and Ulysses for the excellent service!

Kel-​air came over to check for gas leak and started the pilot light for the fireplace. The mechanic took the extra time to clean the glass pane since he fixed the original issue so quickly. Total time took 40 minutes in and out of the door.
When I received the bill, they charged 1 hour and 45 minutes of work at $ 145/​hour. Even if you include transportation time, to and from Hercules and Rodeo, we are still talking about 1 hour of work.
After a follow-​up phone call with them, I received a revised bill charging 1 hour and 30 minutes of work – still more than double the actual service time. If I knew the company was going to charge more than 1 hour’s worth of work I would’ve hauled the mechanic’s butt out of my house 20 minutes earlier when the pilot was fixed and stop the nonsense chit-​chat.
This company cheats its clients and is dishonest.

This review is long overdue. The crew from Kelaire is our family’s «go to» team for any heating and air conditioning needs. Last year, while Ken was repairing my aunts hot water heater, he found four baby birds in the existing flue and even managed to save all of them. The team is knowledgeable, professional and very customer service oriented.

After having a different company tell me I needed a new motor for our blower, the tech from kel-​aire came to give a second opinion. He comes down from the attic after less than 5 minutes and hands me a carbon monoxide warning label that was caught in our blower fan causing it to be off balance. Quick and honest! I would definitely recommend this company.

I just had Kel-​Aire in Rodeo replace my furnace and they did a great job. I fell like they gave me a fair and competitive bid to do the work. I will use them for all my heating needs.

On their website is says free estimates? I just called them, they want $ 130 dollars just to come look at my home AC? Makes no sense, false adverstisement i guess. I was ready to get repaired whatever it needed, way over that estimated price. I guess i’ll look to see if i can find another place.

Really good service and fair prices. They set the price for my job at Time & Materials Not to Exceed – and the job came in under budget! How often does that happen? Very honest. Rob Baldwin goes over and above. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the options, pros and cons. I got one estimate from a company telling I «HAD» to perform a specific service that would cost ~$ 1000. KelAire told me I didn’t necessarily need it and they wouldn’t be able to tell for 6 months until the weather got warm and they ran the system in cooling mode. I definitely feel like I’m in good hands with Kel-​Aire – they want to give you the service you need, not what costs the most. They are responsive and call and check to see if I’m pleased with the work – even after hours if needed. I highly recommend them!

SUPER-​DUPER!!! We are new homeowners (1^st time) and Rob Baldwin at Kel-​Aire was so great to us. He was professional, his skilled crew was kind and thorough and their work was excellent. Our heating/​venting system works beautifully and we are so thankful. We had our first service call with Kel-​Aire recently and will definitely be using them again.
Our shower was developing mold stains on the grout and caulking, even though we ran the fan. Thinking we needed a more powerful fan, when we took it out to measure we noticed there was sheet metal blocking the duct behind it about 6 inches in. So the fan all along had been taking moist air from the bathroom, pushing it into a little space 6 inches deep and having it dead end there.
We called Kel-​Aire to figure out why the metal was there blocking the vent and to figure out a solution. We thought maybe the metal was something the roofers had added a couple of years ago when trying to stop a leak that dripped through the ceiling a few feet away.
Rob came over, figured out that the flap that lets you close the duct behind the fan had apparently been installed backwards so it was always closed and could never open. He fixed it on the spot. Now when the fan is running you can really feel it. He also saved us money by advising against replacing our fan (we’d been wanting to find a quieter one anyway) – he said what’s out there these days is not as well made nor likely to be as quiet.
To top it off, Rob called me a few days later to check in about whether I had any questions, since I had made the initial appointment but only my husband could be there for it.
Great service, and the type of company we would be glad to call on whenever we next need someone.

Our 5 year old furnace conked out on the coldest night of the year (of course). Called Kel-​Aire early the next morning before their dispatcher had arrived for work. Thought I would have to call back to catch the dispatcher but she called me within an hour of coming in. Arranged to call me back when the technician was leaving his previous call so I didn’t have to hang around the house all day.
The mechanic they sent out, Dave, was very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly explained what was wrong with the furnace and ordered parts that arrived and were installed the next day.
The only reason they get minus one star is that they are crazy expensive ($ 130 /​hr). I was not in a position to shop around since my family was freezing their backsides off.

I’m pretty shocked that there aren’t more reviews for Kel-​Aire seeing that they’re service is heads and shoulders above their competitors.
Our quick experience with Kel-​Aire: My wife and I purchased a home that had been abandoned for nearly two years. With a pregnant wife and a home with no heat, days before Christmas, Rob B. and Cowboy came to the rescue. In what was perhaps some of the worst weather of the year they had installed a new system complete with duct work in less than 3 days!
This crew embodies ‘old school’ service and craftsmanship with a ‘new school’ approach to communication. Rob B. followed up with us once work was completed and nearly on a daily basis to make sure things were going smoothly. As a real estate agent, I place a value on service and honesty, which the crew at Kel-​Aire exemplify.
