Brian Jackson came from the large commercial environment, where he was the resposnsible party for HVAC maintenance and repairs at Sun Microsystems Headquarters, Genentech Headquarters, and the Pacific Research Center. Brian has also worked as second in command for HVAC maintenace and repairs at Chevron Headquarters, Intel Headquarters and Digital Realty Trust Data Centers in Santa Clara. After a nearly fatal auto accident; Brian wanted to have a more flexible schedule and spen more time with his family (wife and four children). So Brian ventured off on his own and formed BACH Enterprises to help homeowners stay healthy, comfortable, safe and not break their budget by forcing the purchase of a brand new HVAC system.

Pretty disappointed with this place. I found them on Nest’s website as a listed professional installer, so I had them come out because I was having trouble getting it to work after trying to install it myself. The tech that they sent out immediately says something like, «I don’t like those, they don’t work very well.» Not a good sign. He goes in the attic to check the furnace, and he confirms that the wiring is fine. He performs some other work (replaced a capacitor on my AC unit for $ 250, which seems very high), then leaves, and the Nest thermostat still doesn’t work. Fast forward to a couple days ago, after over 6 hours of phone time with Nest support, I start to take this upon myself. Long story short, the wiring WAS incorrectly done. Also, a fuse was blown… So I took it upon myself to just connect a couple wires up in the attic, replace the fuse, and now everything works flawlessly. So it cost me $ 320 bucks to get my AC unit hosed down, a capacitor replaced, and to be led in the wrong direction which ultimately cost me hours of my time and days in a house with no AC in 100 degree weather. I would expect a professional to be able to correctly identify wiring and a blown fuse, and to be able to correctly install a thermostat if you’re listed on the manufacturer’s website as a pro installer.
However, I will mention that the tech was very friendly, and seemed to offer to go out of his way for me.

My house air conditioner broke on a week where the temperature was going over 105 degrees every day. I saw Bach Enterprises had good reviews on Unilocal so I called them. The person who took my call was very professional and told me that she would get someone out to my house as soon as possible but that it may take up to two days because of the high demand. I shortly got a call back that a serviceman would be out the next day and I was given a two hour time window in which he would arrive. I got another call the next day confirming when the repairman would arrive. The repairman arrived and soon diagnosed that all I needed was a new capacitor. He had the part on hand and my air conditioner was running again in less than an hour. I expected to pay a premium because of the high demand, but I only paid the regular reasonable rate. They didn’t try to sell me any unneeded services like some other companies that I have dealt with. I highly recommend Bach Enterprises.

Eddie Russell and the whole crew at BACH Enterprises does an excellent job with anything related to HVAC systems! I have referred Eddie and BACH to several clients, all of whom were extremely happy. They show up on time, are professional and reliable, and have excellent prices and ideas on how to solve just about any problem. They also do not sell you something you don’t need. .. for example, I had been told that I needed all new ducts under my home by a duct cleaning company. Eddie spent a great deal of time in the crawl space under my home, carefully inspecting the ducts, and he said they are in good condition and do not need to be replaced at this time. Honesty. .. integrity. .. excellent service. .. these are my «go to» guys (and gals)!

We originally called these guys out for an outlet under our sink. But got into the AC conversation which our house has needed desperately. Outlet to whole new AC. It worked out because my wife was going to leave me if she had to be in a house with no AC this summer pregnant. Anyway. You could tell they were busy and maybe a bit rushed. But they did a good job. Due to the high spend I had a 3rd party audit, and despite one small thing on the new furnace motherboard (they found out there was an issue, and replaced it), everything checked out. They even installed a new dishwasher, which is totally not in their wheelhouse and was driving us nutz. I was also skeptical about Aero Seal. But we actually noticed a difference on the heater efficiency right away. We will use them in the future.

Everyone I have dealt with at Bach Enterprises is a pleasure to work with. I met Eddie at a home show and was impressed with his knowledge of duct work, ac and furnaces. He struct me as being completely honest and very genuine. He came out to our home and did a complete evaluation of our system. I had been been having sinus problems and feeling sick at home while I felt fine everywhere else. The crew arrived on time, went out of their way to be neat and clean during the entire job and even stopped for a minute to explain the procedure to my 92 year old mother-​in-​law. They replaced and sealed the entire duct system (even during a rain storm) and everything is so much better now. Eddie explained our problems with air flow and found the least obvious place to add a new vent. They are perfectionists when it comes to the quality of their work. We had BACH Enterprises replace our AC unit, furnace, seal duct work, and seal the can lights in our house. We were happy with the install, but most importantly, happy with the great communication w Brian Jackson. The company does quality work and the employees were very professional and it was obvious they love their jobs. Feel free to call them and explain the work you need done, as they will give you the options available and without the added pressure to «sign up today.» At the time of our scheduling, they also had a 0% offer for financing our system over 5 years, which is unheard of in this industry. Makes upgrading your system painless and easy. Oh, and they give a military discount for vets! I recommend this business.

I would like to let the general public know that Brian & his team at BACH enterprises go above and beyond the call of duty. You ask. how is that?..
First off all, Brian & his folks always SHOW UP EARLY & most of the time, our needs are urgent. They have done a few jobs for me. One was the A/​C at my house & the other was for electrical work at our Indian store in Livermore. Both times, BACH enterprises exceeded my expectations.
Brian is very knowledgable, professional & most importantly he is sincere. I will always refer Brian & his team of professionals to whom ever would have the need in the A/​C, Heating & electrical needs. Thank you Brian for always doing a great job.

After dealing with other Heating/​Air conditioning contractors who did not preform as promised… I was referred to Brian Jackson. He showed up on time, made me feel as though he had my best interest in mind, installed new equipment, and cleaned up when finished. This was only the first of many times I have called on Brian. I trust him! He is honest, ethical and fairly priced… and he knows his stuff! Got worried about quality of other vent work and had Livermore city inspector check out 2 °F roof vent on 9⁄15. Inspector flagged 2 °F roof vent, he said the nails used to secure the roof vent needs to be covered with sealant. I am shocked that Livermore company keeps getting flagged by City of Livermore for basic work.

AC went out and after not hearing back from landlirds handy man after 4 days I asked them if I coukd call someone. They agreed. Called Brian and he contacted my landlord then he personally came out to look at the unit. It was an easy fix! Had my AC back that day. Fair and quick. Also, Brian and his staff were great to work with. Hired them again after for an unrelated issue too.

It has taken me awhile to post this review and its about time to thank him for his service and recommend him to those who read this review. I can count on Brian Jackson and his staff to get back to my clients in a timely manner and to meet their expectations with the same standards of service I set for myself. I have been a home inspector for over twenty years and I’m familiar with HVAC systems as a generalist, but not as a specialist. However, I know more than enough about HVAC systems to know they are skilled and very well educated in their field. I have been a contractor for several years and have worked with a wide range of other contractors, knowing the sort of work they perform. Most contractors are good and there are others shouldn’t be in business. However, Brian and his crew are top notch and I have personally learned quite a bit from Brian. When I want to recommend a good HVAC company, I haven’t any hesitation in recommending him to my clients as his company will deal professionally and competently in every situation.

I had Brian and his colleague out on a service call when my furnace was malfunctioning. While other vendors tried to simply sell me a new furnace altogether, BACH repaired it for about one third the cost of replacement. Coming from the service industry myself, I felt I received GREAT value for the services provided. I even signed up for the annual service contract and look forward to future successes with Brian and his team. With Christmas right around the corner, BACH Enterprises truly made the holidays special!

Our A/​C stopped blowing cold air, so I gave this company a call after doing a little research here on Unilocal.
Brian came out to the house within 3 hours and had the A/​C going again in 15 minutes with a new capacitor. He only charged me for the part, no labor or trip charge.
Most impressive of all, he didn’t try to sell me a new system (even though I actually thought we might need one)! Instead he had some good ideas for improvements to the duct work to better the performance of the current system.

I am writing this to recommend Brian Jackson for HVAC work. He did excellent work on my house.
I live in a two-​story 2400 five-​bedroom house. In the summer, my second floor was always 10 to 15 degrees hotter than the first floor when the AC was on. I had four different Heating and AC contractors come out and check out my AC unit. They all told me the same thing — the unit was operation at the correct pressure and we were getting the correct air flow. The unit was working according to design. Upgrading to a more efficient unit would help bit it would cost $ 8000.
Recently, I decided to try one more time. Brain Jackson of BACH Enterprises came to my home to look at the whole system, not just the heating and AC units. He discovered that the builder had placed the second floor resisters near the return air duct pulling the cool air away before it had a chance to cool the second floor rooms. Brain relocated the cool air ducts to eliminate the issue. This way, the cool air circulated throughout the upstairs. He also installed a new thermostat and a damper to let me set the upstairs temperature different from the lower floor. Now my second floor is nice and cool AND my electric usage has gone down.
Brain understands the whole HVAC system, enabling him to solve the problem. I like that he didn’t just want to just sell me equipment. He was on time and commutated with me very well. He followed up to make sure the system was working and that I was happy! You just can’t ask for thing else!

We had a whole new heating system installed by BACH Enterprises and have been very happy with the system (furnace, heat pump, and ducts).
The installation job was superb — you can really tell they take pride in their work. They are easy to communicate with, and there are no barriers between salesmen and technicians.
I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
