Christian gave me awesome customer service today!!! I needed wipers for my car and he made sure I got the right ones AND he installed them for me!!! Thanks!!!

They were very helpful and knowledgeable when I went in last weekend. Returning an item later took some time because a new employee was still training and needed more help. After hearing my concern they were good about following up.

Excellent service by Louis. I brought in my Prius, both of my headlights were out. Apparently the Prius can be tricky with all the electrical issues. He not only recommended bulbs for me but also installed them too. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I would definitely come back if I had car issues or questions.

‘How you doin girl’ is an insulting way to greet customers. As well as ‘you ready, girl’ or ‘here your go, girl’.
Whether I look 20 or 100 yrs old, your staff should learn how to talk to customer with more respect.

This people here are extremely helpful. If you know your car make and model, you can pretty much find any product you need. Went in there looking for a new light bulb for my reverse light and the front cashier found it in 5 seconds. It was so fast I had to buy some windshield wipers for my gal just to impress in case i messed up one day.
Regardless, this is a great place if you need any car assistance that you can fix on your own. They will help you find the lowest price or the best quality brands. Little hard to get to, but you can see it off Newport Blvd so you should be able to find it while driving around.

I had just discovered today, Saturday, that my battery was so shot that I had to actually have
It «charged». AAA gave me another local shop to have this done but followed up that reccy with o’Reilly is another option. You’ll have to pay but they are good and can help. The other shop was so booked that they could not take me. I had nine miles left in gas on my car (a stupid mistake I try never to do) so could not drive around looking for alternate auto shops. AAA and the «other» shop both said do not stop your car you won’t be able to start it. This other shop — which I’ll Unilocal separately was Soooo nice. They were so apologetic. They said we can’t take you but, yes go to o’Reilly. They’re open. May be busy but they can help you. I limped in on fumes. Left my car running in the parking lot and told the guy I needed my battery charged He said well take out your battery. I said what? I have to do it? I have NO IDEA how to do that. And basically he came, looked at my car said we can’t be liable for the computer and walked away. I was in tears. Look. I get the whole thing. But at least be NICE. The other shop couldn’t help me but they were so nice, I just want to give them business (I have two cars). This place? Not only will I NEVER go there, I’m telling everyone I know not to go there and I don’t even know that I’ll go to another o’Reilly. Just be human. Be nice. Be decent. It’s not hard to say I’m so sorry. I wish I could. I just can’t. But try xxxx. And here. Have a tissue. Sorry O’reilly. One star for you

Well, it’s been a few years since my original review and I’ve had a change of heart. I’ve been coming here regularly lately to do some services on my old gal (aka my car), and the staff has been really nice. There’s a guy that I’m guessing is a manager who is always SUPER helpful and sounds like he has a mechanic’s background. The guys behind the counter are always patient with me and get me what I need. I don’t go anywhere else to get car stuff, so I’m glad the staff has had a turnover for the better.
Also, the owner did reach out to me and apologize for the staff (albeit, 3 years later) but that still is important to me.

So grateful to have this place next to my house. As a single woman with no male relatives nearby, it is so comforting to have help with little stupid things like replacing headlights or testing my battery. The staff are friendly, practical and down to earth. It really feels like a neighborhood store with employees that are trustworthy and care about helping others.
I’ve also had great experiences over the phone. I’ve even called them when mechanics quoted me for services to get a second opinion or see how hard it would be to do myself. Great store, excellent service, always a happy camper.

Extremely impressed with the service today. Excellent! My husband bought a fuel pump yesterday thinking that our old fuel pump was the problem preventing our car from starting. When he and some mechanic friends realized, upon further testing, that the problem was not with the fuel pump, we went to return it. Since we lost the receipt, my husband printed out our bank’s record of the sale. We had a short wait and stepped to the counter to explain the situation to the associate, Cory. Cory could not have been more efficient. He called the manager for signature and the transaction was reversed with our bank card in a manner of minutes! We felt respected and well served. We walked out happy, satisfied, and impressed!

Don’t know what other people encounter at this store, but I think the staff is great, Rick the manager is always helpful and goes the extra mile for his customers, he has never let me down and is excellent at following up on my parts, two big thumbs up!

This store does not deserve a 1 star rating. I have always been treated well here and have frequently found good deals for my auto parts needs. I am not sure what happened with the other posted review, or what the repeated things that are being claimed, but I would hope that the issue has been cleared up. I have not encountered a female manager here either (maybe that was the issue?). Regardless, it is now an O’Reilly Auto Parts (as they bought out Kragen) and the management must have changed.
I will continue to frequent this store because its close, convenient, and has the items that I need.
