Custom Comfort Mattress

I had an amazing experience today, in the Custom Comfort showroom. The staff was friendly and the pillows and beds were super cozy!

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced! Both Chris and Ed helped me pick out my mattress and of course it takes a little while to figure out which type you want… I picked out the firm mattress and after a week felt it was too firm. I called them and asked what I could do and to my surprise and happiness, I only had to pay the difference of $ 239 to add the nice foam on both sides. They offered to pick it up and delivered back the same day with no extra cost for delivery. Could not believe it!!! Love my mattress and the cost was so reasonable I would never go anywhere else.

I decided on two queen Inspire 101 and got some pillows as well. Ed was very patient and accommodating. The shipping was included and they even dispose of your old one. It’s priced a bit high, but you’re dealing with your health.

We bought a mattress a few days ago and LOVE it! The whole experience was pleasant. We worked with Ed who was patient in educating us about mattresses and had us lay on several different floor samples to get a feel. The best part was that Ed was not pushy in the least. He was very empathetic to the fact that laying on a mattress for 15 minutes and then trying to make a major purchase is disconcerting.
Alas, we bought a mattress set, frame and mattress protector. It was like. you wanna give someone like them the business because they deserve it!
So far so good in our selection. The bed could not be any more comfortable!

Oh and I would be remiss if I did not mention the delivery team! These guys were crazy fast, took care not to ding any walls or slam things around and were extremely professional and polite!
All in all… a hands down 5 star rating… and we will be going back for more mattresses in the future!

When my wife an I got married we bought our queen size mattress at Custom Comfort. 11 years later there is literally nowhere else I would go to buy a mattress. Ours is as good today as the day we bought it with absolutely no extra attention needed (periodic flipping/​rotating). The quality is outstanding and you will be shocked at how reasonable the prices are.
So skip all those other hyped brands and support high quality, American made products!

An update since writing my 6÷2÷14 review.
Since writing my review on Custom Comfort, I was contacted by several people regarding my experience. One of which was Chad from the Costa Mesa store where I purchased my mattress. He apologized and stated that I should not have had an experience like that, nor should I have been told that there was nothing else they could do for me.
Chad made an appointment to come out and look at our mattress. After that, he followed up with the rest of his team and fixed the problem for us so that our mattress was no longer sagging in the middle.
Since fixing our problem, we are now back to sleeping soundly with the back issues we had subsiding.
Thank you so much for listening to our concerns and being so willing to address our issues and concerns so quickly.
They actually do care about their customers, you just have to make sure you talk to the right person in order for your concerns to be addressed.

I have had my mattress from Custom Comfort for about 2 years now, and I love it! My husband and I previously decided to get a new mattress because our old one was giving us both back problems. After we bough the mattress from Custom Comfort, it took awhile for my back pain to go away, but it eventually disappeared. Our thoughts were that it would be cheaper to purchase a new mattress that it would be to go to a chiropractor. Lastly, I love that I can rotate the mattress from front to back, but also from the bottom to the top.

We bought a latex mattress from Custom Comfort a few years ago for a small fortune, and we have not been happy with it. After about a year it started sagging in the middle. It also sleeps hot which it’s not supposed to do. Custom Comfort came out to fix it, but really couldn’t solve the problem. I asked to return it for a refund. They said they could not do it. This business lost a lot of credibility in my mind. Apparently they didn’t manufacture this particular mattress so they don’t stand behind it. They should have told us that when we bought it. They sold us on their guarantee, but it wasn’t worth much when it mattered.

I’m notoriously difficult when it comes to buying something really expensive that is sold pretty much everywhere. Buying a new bed is the worst, because Consumer Reports doesn’t really help, and every retailer sells a different model. We had been given (temporarily) an obscenely expensive all cotton, double-​sided custom made king mattress while a relative was on location for six months, and knew that we couldn’t go back to our tired old queen Sag-​O-​Pedic when the custom deal was repossessed.
After tons of research and testing, much to the annoyance of the Mrs., we ended up at Custom Comfort, which was a HUGE breath of fresh air. No high pressure sales tactics, no BS sale prices, and really pleasant folks. We explained what we were looking for — a double-​sided mattress with minimal synthetic materials, minimal memory foam, lots of support and within our (expanded) budget. We were shown the construction and materials and ended up spending less than we thought. The mattresses are locally made and very high quality.
Before you buy a mattress, check out the amount of foam used, and insist on double-​sided, they really are much better.
Delivery was on-​time and the delivery guys were professional, friendly, efficient and very helpful.
The best part is the wonderful sleep experience — we LOVE our bed, and the Mrs. couldn’t be happier.
I truly cannot understand why anyone would buy a mattress anywhere else — the quality of the mattresses, the transparent and totally reasonable prices, the no hassle, no pressure buying experience and the great delivery experience all make Custom Comfort unbeatable in my book.

We had a very positive experience buying our mattress here. The salesman was informative but not too pushy. We ended up coming back to buy our mattress from them after checking a few places. The mattresses aren’t cheap, but the fact that they’re double-​sided makes them worth more. Delivery was fast and efficient and on time, and we’re very happy with the mattress! I would recommend this story to anyone looking for a quality mattress and willing to pay for one.

After having an aching back for a few months, it dawned on me that my mattress was over 13 years old. Upon a friends recommendation, I went to Custom Comfort. It was refreshing to have the sales person NOT try and sell me the most expensive mattress in the store and not play games. I was trying to decide between two mattress types and the sales person let me leave and didnt harass me. I love the new mattress and cant be happier.
