iMasterTek was born in 07 when i cracked my first Generation iPhone i attempted to repair my self, since i am in computer repair field i decided that i could do this myself, on my 2nd attempt i almost gave up, but i still went for the 3rd time, and i actually fixed it. This is when i began repairing all apple gadgets, not just iphone, but ipad and ipod touch. We worked from home for over 2 years, repairing apple products until we opened our first repair shop on Date ave, now we are located on greenback and auburn. We now have over 4 employes servicing customers from 10 – 6, mon-​fri. Come right in as we always have parts in stock, and ready to help you.

I walked in at 5:59pm and Val took a minute to come to the counter. I told him my screen went out and asked if he was closing. Val said yes then asked if I had a couple minutes.
Val went to the back with my phone and diagnosed that my screen was dead. He told me how much it cost to fix it and of course the cost is well worth the price versus buying a new phone.
Val went to the back again and replaced the screen. About 15 minutes later he was done.
Val easily could have told me he was closing and that would have been the end of it. But he went above and beyond and fixed my phone. He was courteous, friendly and did what he needed to do to win another customer over. I highly recommend Val and his business!

Val is great over there at iMastertek, ive had an ipad mini screen and most recently, my iphone 6 screen repaired. I tried to see if he was open this past saturday (memorial weekend) through online reservation, and he texted me within the hour that he was closed. I was impressed with the speed of service on the weekend, much less the day he was closed. Dropped my iphone off this morning, and it was finished by noon for pickup. Reasonable prices, and good customer service. I will bring any further broken screens and iphone issues to iMastertek, and I recommend them without reservation.

Val and I had exchanged messages here on help over the weekend (used request quote) and he was super prompt about replying even after business hours on Mother’s Day!
He took a look at my phone, gave me a price and did the work quickly. Although I was disappointed to spend the money fixing my shattered iPhone 6 screen his price was cheaper than the Apple Store and still competitive in the market after making several calls. To be honest I could have gotten it done cheaper but he had a friendly and trustworthy vibe, his customer service over the weekend communication was appreciated and that really won me over. Also the fact that it only took 30 minutes to fix was a win. Val was willing to work with parts I supplies and just charge for service. I probably could have saved more if I had ordered the right parts but i was ready to be done with my phone problems and didn’t want to wait.
I would highly recommend using this business for any tech repairs you might have.

Came here Monday at 1:07 pm, and they were closed with a «will return @» sign on the door, despite the «open» neon in the window.
If you can’t keep your posted and published hours, you don’t get my business, and you do not deserve success in business.
Update: I stand by my original comments. Val may be a nice guy but I am not commenting on his character. I am commenting on the fact that he leaves the shop unattended during PUBLISHED business hours. If you need a lunch break outside the store, then PUBLISH a regular break in your advertising. Otherwise, you risk wasting potential customers time, which is disrespectful. Especially is you want their business.

My previous review was incorrect about the price that I was charged — it was $ 120, not $ 500 as I thought I remembered — I had confused this company with the next place I took the computer to. I added a star for that reason. The thermal paste did not solve the problem which is why I’m not adding more than one star and the reason I needed to take the machine to another company.
My opinion of this company may also have been influenced by hearing other computer companies dump on the work done by the first one. I’m not sure if this is standard or just a way of eliminating competitors or if the thermal paste really was an improbable solution in the first place. Anyway, Val didn’t over-​charge me.

I lost hope of getting my iPhone 6 fixed when Apple quoted me $ 300 for a new one, (I got mine fully wet at our snow retreat,) and was beyond excited when Val responded that it’s something he can fix under $ 100 dollars. He took my order same day, in time for my flight to Switzerland, and I was so happy to have my phone fully functioning for my trip abroad and without any issues. The service is great, fast, affordable and reliable, it’s been a few months since Val worked on the water damaged caused on my iPhone and there are no issues. So glad I didn’t have to buy a new one. Will have Val and his team work on my phones in the future! Thank you!

Great place, a lot of good info on fixing my water damaged iPhone. Only 20 $ to look into it and try to fix it. Unfortunately mine was too damaged to fix but only was charged $ 20. If they CAN fix it, its like $ 40 i think.

I made an appointment identifying the need for iPhone 6 glass replacement. Drove the 20 miles round trip from my home because of the good Unilocal reviews. I arrived and was told by Val that they didn’t have the glass in stock and he wasn’t sure where his delivery of product was. Aggravating yes… but he told me that he’d call me this morning when glass was in stock. This morning I waited 2 hours for a phone call from him that never came and finally found another great place to go, closer to me, instead that fixed my iPhone quickly and efficiently. Val also took a phone call in the middle of our failed transaction and spent several minutes with the person on the phone instead of putting them on hold and paying attention to a customer standing in front of him. This was not the customer service I expected.

I took three of my iPhones to Apple Store for repair — iPhone 6 had non-​functional flash and iPhone 5 and 4S stopped charging. I was told by Apple tech that all three phones needed to be replaced!!! I mean, he should’ve tried to fix at least one!!! One phone was still under warranty but it was still going to cost me several hundred dollars!!! Needless to say I walked away.
Val fixed my phones for around $ 100. He is very nice and professional and knows what he is doing.

I’ve previously had to send my boys’ iPad away to have the cracked screen replaced, but having stumbled across this local establishment and read the glowing Unilocal reviews, figured I’d try them out. And I was not disappointed — for $ 99, my busted iPad 2 screen was replaced as good as new in less than 2 hours. Much appreciated, and highly recommended!

I dropped my new iphone 6s in water the day after i received it in the mail. Needless to say, i was mortified. After calling a few places and comparing my options (one being going through my insurance which would cost me a hefty $ 200 deductible for a refurbished phone) This place stood out not only because of their great reviews but because it was recommended to me by their competitors out of all people! I called and was seen the following day. For $ 120 they made my phone work like it was never fully submerged in water and he did it in less than an hour. My iPhone 6 is a mere six months old and this morning I dropped it from shoulder height onto asphalt. Needless to say — this did NOT make my screen happy. Shattered it was and distraught I was. I drove home, jumped on Unilocal and found iMasterTek. Scanned through the glowing reviews and checked out their site. I didn’t see iPhone 6 on their repair menu on their website so I placed a quick phone call. Val confirmed that he had the screen in stock and could get my repair done today for $ 129.
Jumped in the car and found the location without any issue. He gave the phone a quick once over and drew up the estimate for the screen replacement. He said it would take about 45 minutes since he was already working on someone else’s phone. I went to one of the adjacent restaurants to grab some lunch while he worked on the phone. I returned after lunch and he appeared with my phone — just like nothing ever happened!!!
He gave a small cash discount and I was on my way. Super fast, super convenient and relatively inexpensive. My phone was fully repaired less than 2 hours after I dropped it! I love it when I can find a business that works at the same speed and efficiency that I would offer to my own customers. Hopefully I will never need their services again, but if I do I will be a repeat customer. And I will certainly tell my friends with cracked screens where they can get them fixed as well!
