I brought an iPhone 6 plus and my children broke the screen. I located ipcfix in downtown Sacramento. It is a very convenient location with lots of parking. Even the staff helped me immediately soon I walked through the door. I read a lot of complaint reviews and I was not convinced by the way people described this business. In fact I saw multiple customers inside while I was being help and all the staff was attentive. My device was fixed within 30 minutes I was back on the road in no time. Please read carefully response given to each of the negative reviews. You can expect great service at this location. My only suggestion to everyone while trying to find this business is to drive straight down J street and make a right on 4^th street. You can’t miss the location that way.

iPCFix Downtown did a phenomenal job of replacing the touchscreen on my laptop after I dropped and shattered it. They were professional, helpful and had it replaced in a shorter amount of time than stated. It was also much less than the cost quoted by a competitor. Thank you so much!

I’ve been here and also to their other location multiple times since im super clumsy and can’t keep anything in one piece!
They have always helped me out no matter what the problem was with my phone.
I have had my IPhone 5s screen fixed about 4 times with this shop and every time, my phone looks brand new! I always get their glass protectors too! they seem to be way better quality than the ones you can get from the mall or on amazon and they’re way more affordable!
I’m never going anywhere else to get my phone fixed! This is the only place that I have had a positive experience at when it comes to phone repair and great customer service!
PS: I really don’t understand the negative comments… every time I have gotten something done here, they double check all the functions with me to make sure it works…

My experience here was terrible. Do not go, do not use their groupon, do not buy the deal here on Unilocal.They will break your iPad more. My sister shattered her screen so I got the groupon to go fix it at this place. When I received the iPad it had fingerprint smudges on the inside part of the glass so I took it back the same day. Jaime gave me an attitude because I took too long to get there while driving in rush hour traffic. Anyway, he wiped the smudges and gave me back the iPad, but this time the front facing camera wasn’t working… It had glue all over it on the inside! So I immediately called Jaime to tell him and he met me in the middle of the sidewalk, didn’t even bother to go back to the business place and opened my sister’s iPad OUTSIDE with his hand. He wiped the glue off with a tissue in his pocket!!! After all this hassle he got the iPad user ready but one issue. The iPad stopped working. It no longer detects touch. I called Jaime and told him what happened and asked to speak to the owner of the place, he asked «what for?» And gave me an excuse as to why I couldn’t talk to him. I asked Jaime to tell his boss to call me and I’m guessing he never did because I never received a call. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE! (If this gets deleted I will repost)
I’m glad you remember exactly what happened that day, but my iPad was not heavily damaged. It always had a case on for as long as I owned it. YOU damaged the corners by prying the screen off while trying to repair it. I let that slide since its understandable that iPads are difficult to open in that way, but saying that I took it in highly damaged is a lie. It fell face first with a case on, the only damage was the outside glass. The reason I wrote this review is because I was patient with you and waited for you to have the owner call me back and you never did. Comes to show your work ethic. Lying about receiving «heavily damaged» tablets in order to justify your bad work is terrible. I took a heavier damaged iPad that got STEPPED on by a 200 lb grown man to the Sunrise Mall and it worked perfectly afterwards. TAKE YOUR IPADS TO SUNRISE MALL KIOSK! They won’t break your expensive tablets there.

Saw the great review and the groupon offer. Upon arrival I learned there was a different (inflated) pricing structure for groupons. Either have a special or not. I value companies with integrity and charging more for the same service because someone has a groupon is not a good way to do business.

So they offered to fix my phone, which I turned down. I cannot have my phone non-​op for 2 to 3 weeks like last time. with them. They told me they could fix it in 20 min. yeah you didn’t do that the first time. Do you could have fixed my phone better the first time around? After having a PROFESSIONAL look at it the damage is done. The camera is covered in glue, it will always weigh more, the screen will never stay down/​always peel up. That being said they did refund me my money. So that is why the 2 stars. My lawyer still wants me to pursue the issue. Just done.

This review is based on my latest experience with them. In fairness, I did have some iPhones fixed in the past that were ok.
I took my iPad mini to get fixed as the digitizer had some bad pixels and sound was not coming from one of the speakers all the time. The problems were intermittent.
I had dropped it off a week before Christmas and informed Jamie I needed it give to my daughter as a gift. He said it will be no problem.
Few days passed and I called for status. I was informed they were still working on the speaker. I called the next day and was asked didn’t I just call checking on status. I said I called yesterday and then he went on to explain how busy they were and just lost track of time so didn’t realize it was yesterday that I had called. Anyhow they were supposed to call me back with status so I shouldn’t have needed to call. They said it was ready.
I went to pick it up and another guy tried giving me a different iPad mini. I said it wasn’t mine so after checking, mine was actually not ready. They were still having problems with the speaker.
I left and called again and few days later I was told it was ready. I went down again and again was told it was not fixed. WTF?!? They said I needed it by Christmas so they tried to get it back to me. Yes I wanted it by Christmas but fixed.
Then they told me they needed to send it out which would take a week. I said go ahead and would wait. More than a week goes by and I call. I am told they did fixes but the screen still has a problem. I said I’ll just come pick it up.
When I get there, I was informed what was fixed and after testing it, it was much worse than before bringing it in. The digitizer was still pixelated but the LCD screen did not fit properly all the way and made a popping sound when pressing in certain areas. Then there was absolutely no sound even though I was informed new speakers were installed.
The good thing was that I was told there would be a charge for the work they had done but after nothing being fixed and speakers no longer working, they just let me leave without paying for anything.
I understand things happen but my experience was such a waste of time.

I had one of the most unfortunate things happen to me on New Year’s Day (1÷1÷16). My desktop computer was unable turn on! Actually it was running but there was a flashing blue light indicating that it was in «standby» mode and unable to make its way past that. As I am not technical in the way of dissecting the internal part of computers, I started to Google probable causes as to why this was happening and I got a gazillion different answers. This is where I went on my iPad and searched for «Computer Repair» (in Sacramento) and came across «iPCFix Computer Repair».
This place is literally as hidden as they come located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento. I actually had to circle the block twice but their business is tucked on 4^th St. and adjacent to nearby J St. It is literally next door to the Holiday Inn and only a block away from the new Golden 1 Center. Parking was actually easy to find as there were vacant spots directly in front of the business. But be careful since the parking meters only last an hour as there are lots of metermaids ready to ticket you!
Now keep in mind, my computer is actually about 6 years old. However, I spent nearly $ 1000 for it and I just didn’t want to take it to the computer recycling center. Especially when I have thousands of photos, games, and well over 10,000 songs loaded on my iTunes. So instead of dishing out another $ 500-​$ 1000 on a new computer, I was hoping and praying that «iPCFix» would repair my computer at a reasonable price.
I took the computer in on the morning of Satuday ½/​16 and fortunately got there during business hours (which were 10am-​2pm) on Saturday’s. There was a nice lady who took all my information while another gentleman gave me a ballpark price of what it would cost to fix. Fast forward four days later to Wednesday 1÷6÷16 and my computer is ready to be picked up! I had met Ivan which was one of the techs who worked on my computer. And best of all, the total cost on this was only $ 89! But wait, there’s more! Unilocal also offers a deal where you can get a $ 10 off coupon. And after it was all said and done, I only ended up paying $ 79!
The true test though was taking it home and hoping that everything was fixed as I was told. Not only was it fixed but it was actually running much faster as if it was brand new! They also cleaned the inside of the tower while making sure the processor, motherboard, hard drive, and RAM were running smoothly. I do have to say that even though we own smart phones, an iPad, and a laptop, having the convenience of a desktop is great for spreadsheets and of course, writing Unilocal reviews! So thank you «iPCFix» for getting my 6 year-​old workhorse computer running like new again!

Great place! I only had a certain amount of money to work with to get my Iphone screen fixed. But they were able to bring down the price! They also worked fast on my phone. They got my phone done in like half an hour. Also they helped tried to fix my computer even though they couldn’t (the model that I got sucked) they were able to recover the data on my computer and recommended a computer to us. Great service. And very affordable price :)

Excellent customer service! Ivan came out to my house to fix a laptop/​printer problem after trying to fix it online. Very professional and friendly. When another problem popped up a month later, he gave me excellent advice over the phone that solved the issue. He even remembered me and my extensive home office setup. Ivan, thank you!!!

Found these guys on Unilocal and from my visit, all 5* reviews are well deserved. I had a cracked screen on my iPhone 6+ and they have it up and as good as new within 20 minutes. I could not be happier.

I’ve read some of the negative reviews and am mystified. My experience couldn’t have been better. I dropped my two-​year old iPad resulting in a cracked screen. My heart sank as this was a Christmas present from my wife and I’d never hear the end of it if she learned of my carelessness. Apple wanted $ 300 and more than a week to fix. iPCFix charged less than a third of that and I had it back in less than a day and it looks pristine. It’s as if the mishap never happened and my wife will never know.
If you’re in West Sac or the downtown area and have an issue with a mobile device, take to them first. They’ll give you an accurate quote and a realistic turn-​around time. They have my highest recommendation and they really saved my a$$.

Just dropped off my ipad at the 4^th street location for a wifi antenna replacement. I told them to contact me before doing anything that will result in a higher charge than what they quoted me. When I dropped it off they said the screen might have to be replaced which neither of the two employees I communicated with before had ever mentioned. That would be a huge disappointment since I JUST paid to have this new screen replacement from a different local repair shop expecting it to remedy the wifi issue. If it needs another screen I’ll probably just throw it in the river.
Besides that, I expect I’ll have a great experience. Everyone has been responsive, polite and informative. Although I read a bunch of bad reviews on here, I chose to support them because being a small biz owner I realize that you can’t make everyone happy. No matter how hard you try. Also because even though there are bad reviews on here, there is also a lot of really great reviews. Also normally the reviews Unilocal chooses to «filter» are pretty bad. When I read through the filtered reviews on this page I was surprised to find that most of them were 4 – 5 stars and some of those were from established reviewers which normally don’t get filtered. I smell a good ol’ Unilocal shakedown going on here. Some of us know what that feels like and it’s not good.
So I’m giving these guys a chance and I expect to have a great update to this review soon.

I took my iPhone 5s here to get the screen replaced, and was told it was going to take a day due to them having several work orders ahead of me. I said Ok, no problem. I received a phone call from Ivan at iPCFix at 5:30 pm the same day I dropped it off, and he said my phone was ready. I went and picked up my phone and checked it out and everything was good. The price was good too.

I would I could give minus stars. This place was terrible. I took my iPad there to get the screen replaced. The repair took much more time than what was quoted. By the time I left my iPad was in worse condition then when I took it in. I do not recommend this business.

Hi! I have a masters degree. yes, I do understand I brought you a BROKEN SCREEN.
YOU GAVE ME A BROKEN SPEAKER AND A BROKEN HOME BUTTON. Now, a permanently broken one.
Hopefully, you understand that YOU are wrong.
And by patrolling this Unilocal app to salvage potential clients isn’t working.
I am baffled by your poor service and RUDE customer service.

Got a Groupon for this place to fix my iPad. They wanted to charge me $ 25 to replace the ‘home button’ that wasn’t broken. I couldn’t get a refund for the Groupon and there was nothing about having to pay to replace the home button on the groupon description when I bought it. So, the girl agreed to waive the fee if I wrote a good review for them. So why the bad review?
I was told when I dropped my iPad off on a Monday it would be ready by 6PM that same day. It wasn’t. Fortunately I called to confirm before I drove downtown to pick my iPad up because it wasn’t ready. Called back the next day and it still wasn’t ready. The person who picked up my call on Tues estimated Thursday, mind you, I dropped my iPad off on a Monday. I didn’t go back to pick it up until the following Monday. When I picked it up this is what I got. Screen ‘fixed’ but too small for the iPad! There’s a gap between the screen and metal all around. I use protective cases so I’m hoping it will keep dust out, but I’m highly disappointed in their ‘repair’. Do not recommend.

Update: Wow…
Imagine with the service and broken promises that a few more weeks have now gone by without them honoring replacing the phone as they promised. I had called back one more time and was told he was really busy but would talk to his owner and call me back the next day. Still nothing.
My next step on here will be looking to see if there’s a way to attach an audio file to the review or at least a link to the message he left promising to replace the phone.

I was called back by the company and told they’d like to have the rating taken down and offered to replace the phone they messed up telling me it was his first or second Samsung they worked on.
I called back saying I’d accept their offer, and he told me he called back the next day. Well next day has passed no call.
