My mom’s iPhone 5s had a battery problem… In standby it would only last a few hours. Talk to Val at the Greenback location and he gave me a quote over the phone that was considerably less then at the iPhone store and he said he could fix it in 25 minutes if I came in. When I went in he beat that time by about 10 minutes while still able to intake to other customers. The phone has now stayed at 100% in standby for 12 hours. Thanks Val!

So after i dropped my iPhone and needed the screen replaced I checked Unilocal and this place got good reviews. So I called the number and the guy said he could fix it in in around 30 minutes. Great! I said I would be there in a couple of hours.
I arrive at 2:10 pm (after driving for 20 minutes or so) and the neon sign says «open» but there is no one there. So I call the number again:
Him: Is there a sign on the door?
Me: yes (there was one of those «be back at» paper signs on the door)
Him: what does it say?
Me: Back at 9:15 (remember is after 2 in the afternoon)
Him: Oh, I am out to lunch, I will be there in 15 – 20 minutes.
Me: Whatever.
Thanks for wasting my time.
These guys may be good at repairs but they suck at running a business. If your hours say you are going to be there, and a customer calls telling you they will be there, you really ought be there.

Val is an awesome person, his patience and customer service skills is totally off d charts, he will find a way to help with your trouble.

This was a great experience! Kind of a sketchy location, but easy to get to, and VERY professional! My son’s iPhone 5 screen was shattered and they fixed it in under an hour! Fair pricing and friendly, knowledgeable help. I highly recommend!

Val went above and beyond to replace my broken iPad screen. During the repair he found an issue with a battery and offered an unbeatable replacement price. The service was personalized and efficient. He also uses the best quality screen replacements, as opposed to after-​market ones. Will definitely return if need be (knock on wood).

Shattered my Ipad screen, chunks were missing. IMaster Tek responsed professionally over the phone and said I could come in at my convenience, no appointment necessary; this was important as I live one and a half hours away. They fixed my ipad in 2 hours, looks and works great. Competitive price. I would definitely return.
On a side note I had the battery in my old iphone 4s replaced. The new battery is only marginally better than the old original.

Highly recommend these guys! My phone company wanted to charge me 185 and that’s with my insurance. Well iMastertek charge me the low price of 100 saving me 85 bucks. Val was really helpful and had my iPhone 5s repaired within 25 minutes.

Omg they fixed my poor Iphone 4 screen so fast. In a matter of 20 mins I had a new screen and a screen protector! YAY! Back in business!!! I honestly never even knew this place existed, but I am glad that I found them through Unilocal because they gave me great customer service and not to add that I got there at 6:50 and they still took care of me even though they closed at 7!!! LOVE IT!!! Hopefully I don’t crack my screen again, but if I do I will def be back at iMastertek to get it fixed again ASAP!!! :) Thanks guys for your great service!

My phone wouldn’t light up. The tech diagnosed and repaired it in 20 minutes and even stayed late since I got there at closing time. Pretty cheap and very helpful. He showed me how to do a couple of things I couldn’t figure out on my iphone. He was very friendly and professional.

Shattered my millionth iPhone. Went to a couple places and got quoted over 200 $ to replace my iPhone 5 front screen. Seriously. No. Called imastertek on monday and was told it’d be $ 165 and that they usually order them after you put a deposit down but they had ordered an extra one I could have and they would call when they were in. Wednesday rolls around and I’m anxious and hate looking at the shatter so I call and they’re not in yet. Wednesday afternoon rolls around… They call me ! I rush down there and they have it fixed in 30 minutes! They’re located in a tiny little office off madison. they’re professional and friendly and you can’t even tell my screen had once took a nose dive into the cement and looked like a spider web. Wish id known about them a long time ago for all my other iPhone incidents instead of using insurance claims!!!

I had My cracked screen replaced. fast and a fair price especially for someone doesn’t want to do it them selves. Lets be honest I probably would have thrown it against the wall doing it myself

Excellent! Repaired my cracked screen and back of iPhone 4s. Looks great, works great. Val had the phone for less than an hour and price was reasonable. Very happy with service. $ 150 for both sides to be fixed, but it beats the $ 500 it would cost to replace it.

This place is the real deal. Excellent work and quality parts at a good price.
Val greeted me when I walked in. I showed him the phone and he gave me a quote immediately. As it was agreeable, I had him replace the screen on my iPhone 4 (Verizon model).
I returned 1 hour later and the work was done. I had some problems with the «digitizer» and he took the phone back and replaced the screen without complaint.
Locally owned business by a diligent and honorable person. I will be calling on him exclusively to fix my iPhones.

Simple enuf really; After almost two years of life, my iPhone 4 decides to take wing and fly.
The iPhone is well designed, but has lousy aerodynamics. Hence, a shattered screen when she stuck the landing.
Went to iMasterTek and 25 minutes later she was resplendent with a new OEM screen.
Price was right and the repair is solid.
It might be time to update some of the reading material in the waiting area though. Tourist magazines for DizzneeLand from 2010 aren’t nearly as cool as old National Geographics would be…

Heard about this awesome tech guy who also does iPhone repairs. Yup, I was skeptical too, dont you just go to your nearest AT&T store? FYI, your «friendly» AT&T store just wants you to sell parts and accessories… if they have the parts. And if you have the warranty. And if you have $ 200.
Anyway I got this guys phone number, and told me he has a «shop». Wait, he’s legit? This was before I read reviews about the russian mob.
So, I got to their store. Easy to find (exit Madison then Left on Date). Great parking, just have to find the Suite K. Its a nice little shop and I was greeted by a beautiful russian chick. Then this russian guy came and I talked to him. Flawless english. Duh.
Enough of this stereotyping.
Iphone 4 glass replacement for $ 79. SET FEE. When do I get my phone repaired, and I was told same day. I asked what do you mean same day… do you want me to come back in the afternoon? Same day, he repeated. And since I was the first customer of the day, he will fix it NOW. Okay I said, then left. On I went to nearby Starbucks and was about to head to the nearby Target when I got a call that my iPhone was fixed.
It was done in 45 minutes flat.
I have my iPhone with the new screen for 3 months now and I am totally happy. No problems at all. The parts were indeed genuine.
Smart people still exist, folks. I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t have the referral from my friend. If you are still creep’ed out, check their website. Who posts their fees online with a set price? I am not surprised at all that they have over 30+ great reviews.

Now, these guys/​gals were great! While they may be Russian, I have had bad experiences, they are truly American in their business practices. Great customer service, awesome pricing and they were done in 45 minutes. I am very impressed and they are doing wonders for their community as a strong role model. I would put them up against any company that does repair work on Apple products.
Thank you so much! Now, I have the white version I originally wanted due to a broken screen. BTW, go with OEM parts because the glass is a special scratch resistant Corning product. Finally, they are by Madison Avenue & I80 in Sacramento.

I don’t know what the other person was talking about with this being a scary place. So not true. I am a mother of a one yr old and my iPhone 3G, took a fall from the first floor, down to the first floor landing right on the tiled floor. It not only shattered the glass, but it popped out exposing the guts of the phone. Is this the death of my phone? I prayed to god not cuz I haven’t updated my phone since my son was born (my hands were full).
My sons baby pics from the day he was born which was taken with my iPhone everytime I could not reach for a camera was ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY precious to me.
So I took my phone to the iPhone store to see if my data (photos) can be extracted and the tech at the genius bar said, sorry no can’t do because it has a passcode and passcode can only be entered with a screen on it !!! I was referred to data recovery in Novato who needless to say was charging me about $ 1200 — $ 1500 just to recover my data. I googled for a local iPhone repair tech n found iMasterTek !!! What a life/​memory saver !!! They not only recovered my data but fixed my phone, did I MENTION fix my phone for just slightly under $ 100. It took them about 1.5 hours. My son and I were there. It was safe. We walked around, then went to nearby Starbucks for a drink n when we got back my phone was FIXED !!! And for under $ 100 !!! Ahmazing :) N I am writing this review with a phone I never thought I could salvage after looking at the guts of it.

So. picture this. It’s 1am. You’re peacefully slumbering. You’re set for a fabulous 4 day weekend. Life is good. Then THUD! Your psycho 10 year old kitty who still thinks he’s a kitten has swiped a water glass off the nightstand, landing it expertly right on top of your husband’s iPhone with a sickening CRUNCH. You examine the damage and it’s as bad as you feared. A nice spider web of shattered glass meets your eye. Panic sets in. You think in horror how you wish you had purchased Apple’s protection plan for your iPhone. You are screwed and the only solution is to have to repurchase the iPhone for at least $ 500-​$ 600 right?
WRONG. iMasterTek to the rescue! I called them the day of the «bad kitty» incident and spoke to Slava. He said to come right on in and assured me the damage was fixable. My husband’s phone was fixed in under 30 minutes and it only cost $ 75. FYI there is a $ 65 fee for the 3G phone, and a $ 75 cost for the 3GS phone. Slava was awesome and restored the phone brilliantly. I am so happy and my husband is totally relieved. Awesome service, quick turnaround time, quality work and inexpensive. A+!!!
