Ken and his crew from Dawn til Dusk AC were very helpful! Our unit was old and had breathed it’s last! Ken was able to get me a whole new furnace/​AC unit for less than we thought-​expensive, mind you, but not AS expensive as it could have been! We now have a quality unit and the guys were prompt and professional. A few days after installation, I noticed some things that I had questions about. Ken responded immediately, himself, and came over to take a look. He had the VERY minor corrections taken care of by the following week! Great customer service!

I called a few companies this morning after my AC went out over night. First one that called me back was Dawn Till Dusk. Showed up at 7:30 AM and fixed by 9:30. Labor was a little pricey but they were quick, efficient and polite.

Ken, the owner of Dawn Till Dusk, came out to my house to inspect my AC unit. He told me that I had a minor issue but it was nothing that needed immediate attention. I appreciate his honesty very much! I would highly recommend Ken to anyone in need of AC repair, and I will now be using Ken for any of my home or office’s future AC repairs.

We finally found an AC company that didn’t try to overcharge us. Our AC service for two units was half the price we received from another company. Recommendations were made to replace a few capacitors and the total cost was less than $ 300 for the total bill. A year ago another company quoted me $ 1500, no thanks and showed him the door. Wow, this company is awesome! My air went out in the evening on the side of the house that I work from and have clients through out the day. This company came highly recommenced from a Facebook group that I belong to so I gave them a call and Ken called back that same evening and had a technician out the very next morning. What I was sure was going to be a several hundred dollar fix was under $ 200! The tech was very nice checked the fluid levels out and topped off what was needed. VERY HONEST company! Thank you!

We had issues with our airflow in our AC last year which didn’t get resolved, including having someone else come and look who proved to be very unreliable.
In the end we contacted Ken and team at Dawn till Dusk.
We organised a time for Ken to come out and fixed a number of issues which the previous guy had completely missed. At every stage Ken was excellent in explaining the issues, the costs, and potential solutions.
The final problem was to rework a lot of the existing ducting to increase airflow to areas of the house.
Again, everything well explained. The team turned up on time on the allotted day and quickly got the work done and cleaned up after them — you wouldn’t even no someone was there only for the fact that the AC was now much much better.
Lucky we did this — this summer has been quite warm. I don’t think we’ld have survived so well without the newly working AC.
And then we woke this morning to no AC in ½ the house. Eventually I figured out the fan outside wasn’t turning, so contacted Ken and he was out within the hour, replaced the cap and got everything working.
I can’t rate Ken and the team at Dawn Till Dusk highly enough — excellent guys. Highly recommended.

We called Dawn till Dusk based on the reviews read on Unilocal.The problems started when I called first thing Saturday morning and reached a voice mail. I left a message and several hours passed without a return call. My husband then called and left a voicemail, Ken returned his call within 15 min. Ken couldn’t make it out until Monday and that when the appt was set. On Monday morning, Chad arrives at the scheduled time. We explained the issues we were having. Chad inspected the unit and said it was fine. He checked out the attic and said it was a run capacitor and that would fix the problem. Chad replaced the capacitor fan and said the problem was fixed. We paid the$ 178.00 bill and Chad left assuring us the problem was fixed. After Chad walked out the door, I walked over to the thermostat and realized it wasn’t turned on (Chad never turned the unit back on after «fixing» the issue to see if it was working). I turned the unit on and guess what? IT WAS DOING THE SAME THING! I immediately called Ken and reached voicemail. I left a detailed message and after almost 2 hrs I still had not received a return call. Once again, my husband calls and received a return call 20 min later. Ken had Chad return. After inspecting the unit again, Chad couldn’t find what was wrong. We felt he was pulling excuses out of the air and implying it was something we were doing. Chad tried to present my with another bill for adding freon (according to Chad on the first visit, we didn’t need freon. He actually had to let some out according to him) I refused to pay for the added freon. Chad called Ken at our request. Ken said he would call us the next day and come out. THAT NEVER HAPPENED
I am very, very disappointed in the outcome of this. I will not recommended this company to anyone!

I had Dawn Till Dusk come over last week to remove and replace my entire HVAC system. They were punctual, professional, clean and thorough. There were no hidden surprises or extra costs. Overall, a great job! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone needing any HVAC work, whether it be residential or commercial.

I have had Dawn till Dusk out to my house twice. The first problem was a noisy compressor; the other time, the outside unit appeared to be iced up. Both cases were false alarms. I paid just a service charge each time. Neither time did Dawn till Dusk try to sell me anything more. They could certainly have done so.
These guys are honest and very nice. They are not on a commission, so they have no reason to stick you.
The A/​C business has a shaky reputation. Why go with someone you know nothing about? Given Dawn till Dusk’s high Unilocal ratings (and my experience), I don’t think you can go wrong with them.

We woke up at 3 am to hot air blowing from our A/​C unit. After reading the reviews on Unilocal,I decided to call Dawn Till Dusk to see if they could fix our problem. Called at 7am, they were there by 9am, and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. (bad thermostat) Thank you so much for your quick and efficient service! Won’t hesitate to use again.

Dawn til Dusk responded in a very timely manner, and was able to send someone to my location within the hour. Once here, the tech was informative and prices were reasonable. When the tech left my air is back to operating at peak efficiency. Great job!

We call this company after 3 days of continuous problems with our AC.
I called based on the reviews I read. I did not expect him to be willing to come out on a Saturday. I was expecting the typical let sell u this n that so I was prepared. I was ready for the two hour thing of I can’t find the problem because this is an older house blah blah (the last company I called charge me $ 300 n fixed nothing)
OMG!!! He was so the opposite. My hubby talked to him when he got to the house (he gave us a two hour arrival window time frame) Gave us a 30 minute courtesy call before arriving.
when he arrived he identify the problem then asked good discovery questions to make sure there was no other issues n made a final check. Our AC has not worked this good since we moved in!
All this for $ 68.00. I recommend this guy a true tradesman!

OK, I just had them out for the 3^rd year in a row and feel very comfortable with their opinion and work. A bad solenoid last year was replaced at the cost of the part since they were already here. A couple years before that I paid over a hundred bucks for the other unit, same problem, different A/​C company. When the time comes to replace the units these guys will be at the top of my list. They are friendly, on time and don’t try to sell a bunch of stuff that’s unnecessary

I used Ken to do some work on a clients house and he came in below budget! I love when I can trust someone to do a good job and give a good price.

I had my AC go out late Saturday night. After suffering through the worst Sunday ever I decided to call Ken on Monday morning. I called about 7 am and asked him to come by any time after 11 so my brother could meet him. He showed up at about 11:15. My brother was very happy he did not have to wait long in my house, seeing as it was about 86 degrees at that point.
He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed by noon for under $ 150. He could have been dishonest and charged me much, much more. I was expecting to pay a lot more. Many fiends with the same problem have reported paying well over a thousand. My AC works like a charm now. I will use him again for any future AC needs and would recommend him to family and friends. An honest contractor in this state is a rare thing.

Ken and his guys have been awesome. My AC broke down, on one of the hottest weekends of the year and they showed up in the time frame they gave me (didn’t know people still did that). Within a couple of hours he fixed the problem, called me and explained every single thing that was wrong with it. He also told me what kind of stuff to look out for in case something else happened in the future. Oh, and did I mention it was the second weekend in a row that I had had a problem with my AC? Yeah, well, Ken had to re-​fix the first problem, which he did for free, and then went on to care of everything else.
To be honest, when he was done Ken asked me to write Dusk till Dawn a review on Unilocal,but I promise you, that this is by far the best AC Repair company I’ve ever dealt with! The least I could do was write a review…

I was introduced to Ken and his team via the traditional method: word of mouth. A friend had a recent positive experience, and the friend that he had gotten his referral from has worked with Ken many times and had great things to say…
I am continuing this trend.
Recently we were faced with a dire issue, where the AC had completely quit on my mother’s mobile home. This was in Phoenix on a 108 °F day. She is in poor health, which makes the situation even worse and the need for repair an emergency. She had done her best, calling a few known names from the yellow pages, and two companies came out to give her estimates. Both indicated that her system is beyond repair, and quoted upwards of $ 7000 for a replacement. Holy shit.
I’m not sure about you, but I don’t have piles of money laying around to throw away on a 40 year old mobile home.
Luckily for me, I am pretty handy. I have a background as an engineer and have done my share of electrical work. Unfortunately, I am in California… not in Phoenix. After hearing the symptoms, it seemed to me that a workaround *should* be possible, just to get the AC working again… long enough that I can make arrangements to move her to an apartment over a period of months instead of *days*. When I broached the idea to the two companies she had contacted, one simply said they were unwilling (liability reasons) and the other gave me a long list of what seemed to be improbable repairs still totaling well over $ 1200.
Reaching out to my network of friends, I was put in touch with Ken at Dawn till Dusk. We discussed the situation, and he agreed to come out and take a look, with a plan to help us get by.
As it turns out, it was some bad wiring around the heating element. After a couple hours and some newly run wires, the heater will never work again, but the AC is now running like a champ. The total? $ 260…which you will notice is a helluva lot less than $ 1200…and a different world from the $ 7k I was told initially. Wow.
Ken and his crew have my admiration and respect. These days it is very difficult to find tradesmen to do honest work and don’t take advantage of people in difficult situations.
If you need AC/​Heating work done on your home, I think you will be very happy with Dawn till Dusk. I certainly am.
