Honest Air Duct Cleaning

Based on the wonderful reviews this company has received on Unilocal,I was expecting a better outcome. I will credit Jeff, the main person I dealt with, for being responsive and thorough to answer my questions. Also, he is the technician that did the Ozone treatment which I am 100% sure was completed.
However, I had paid to have the ducts cleaned and later discovered not only had they not been done, Branden, the owner will not return my calls to discuss the mishap. The house I had the treatments at is vacant and has vaulted ceilings, so I did not go in afterwards to climb on a ladder, remove the vents and review their work. My mistake. After a handyman and another air-​duct cleaning company told me none of the vents were removed (paint was still sealed around edges, screws hadn’t been touched) I reached out to HADC to address this… without any response to my question about the vents being cleaned. I paid for the ozone/​air duct cleaning and simply wanted my $ back for the air duct cleaning service that was so very clearly never done.
I’ve since paid another company to do the work, who was great enough to send me before and afters of the vents. I’m more than happy to post them here.
My advise is that if you choose to have this company clean your ducts, have someone there watching over their shoulder and take pictures; my experience is that the work was never done and the owner is not interested in even communicating with customers who have PAID for the service to even discuss a resolution.

Was great! Again professional and honest. We had him check our dryer and I loved that he was honest that we didn’t need to do anything as it was clean. Honest air duct is fast, honest, professional, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Honest company who arrived on-​time and performed work as quoted! Technician was very polite and cleaned up after his work area. Initially he didn’t think he could exit the dryer vent, but he offered to do the best cleaning he could at no cost. (He said unless he could exit the vent, he wouldn’t be able to charge me because he wouldn’t be able to confirm it was cleaned.) In the end, he did exit the vent and I gladly paid for the service.
Upon completion, I asked how often I would need to have this done. A lot of service companies would take advantage of my lack-​of-​knowledge, but the tech said «you won’t, unless you do major construction or get a pet.»

I had my ducts cleaned and shortly after smelled dust coming out of them. I called back Honest Air and Jeff told me to have an HVAC specialist come out and clean the unit. I checked the ducts and they were filthy and not cleaned. I called back and Jeff was arguing and yelling at me on the phone. They come with these little vacuums and don’t properly clean out the ducts. I had to pay another company to properly clean them, so I paid twice.

Chris came today to clean my air ducts and dryer vent. He was great, gave good advice and showed me how to set up my vents. Also found a problem in the ducts that was an easy fix. No charge for that. Prices very reasonable especially since he cleaned the dryer vent at a very reduced price of 35 dollars with the cleaning of the ducts and he pulled out a ton of lint. He cleaned up after he finished. Definitely would recommend them. Great job and thorough.

Top notch! Lance was outstanding. He was professional yet we had a few laughs over discoveries found in my vents. He is extremely thorough and explains things. He went above and beyond. From scheduling and gathering information to the actual service, this company has superb quality and affordable pricing. Lance was very honest when I asked him how often my air ducts and dryer vent should get cleaned out and I can’t say enough about how great these guys are! The name says it all and doesn’t lie.

It was a great job done. Jeff arrived a little out of the time frame given, but considering the drive out to my place and that it was raining heavily that day, the delay was was understandable. He got hot right to work, and there was no surprise in price, what I was quoted, was the price I got.

Jeff was great at answering all my questions and working with my schedule. Lance was professional, helpful, and very friendly. He was able to answer our questions, give us pointers, and of course make air ducts clean and made the air flow so much more efficient.
This is a great company and they were able to accommodate all my special needs. I will definitely be recommending them to other people and using them again in the future!

Honest, prompt and professional in a niche industry where most companies try and scam you. This is not the case here. Lance did a great job and thoroughly cleaned 14 vents and 1 return. He adjusted each one for best airflow into each room. My wife was able to tell the kitchen felt much cooler! Lance also said some vents were upside-​down and he put them back the correct way.
Prices are fair and they are not upselling you on any services. The price is the price is the price.
I wish all companies were run like this one.

I just bought a condo and Chris came out to clean the vents. He called before arriving. He arrived on time and went right to work. The dryer vent was so clogged that he had to dig out the lint by hand before he could use the blower. However, he cleaned up so thoroughly that you could not tell there had been two huge piles of lint, one inside the condo, and one outside in the parking lot. Plus, he managed to find the time to vacuum out the bathroom exhaust, which was also extremely dirty, and not included in the service. A+++ for doing all the little extras that made me glad I choose this company.

After having a dryer that would take three rounds to dry only a few towels, I figured it was time for an olé vent cleaning to have it sorted and am happy to say Honest Air Duct Cleaning made it as easy and painless as possible. Lance came out and had it taken care of in less than an hour. Not only very friendly, he was happy to explain what was indeed happening that was causing our drying issues. Chris came to my home. Cleaned the ducts, cleaned up after himself and explained everything thoroughly. He also may have found a situation iwth my a/​c. Overall, his positive ratings are on point.

Lance is very thorough. He also gave me excellent advice on how to remove smoke odors from a prior owner. This company upholds its name!

Used their services for 2 separate homes we moved into.
Lance was prompt, professional, knowledgable and did a big nasty dirty job in the cleanest way possible.
Results were instantly noticeable with the central air system working much more efficiently as well as he got all the cat hair from the previous tenant and it greatly improved our allergy situation.
There is no up sell, they have a firm price they quote you on based on how many ducts etc you have.
Customer service on the phone was also great with whomever running their office being always helpful and accommodating.
All in all I did my homework and called for a better price elsewhere as anyone should and would do. You won’t find it.
After Lance left we heard some slight rattling in one of the air ducts, he was happy on his own time to come back personally and show me that it was simply a matter of adjusting the faceplate (DUHHHHH) of the duct and wasn’t caused by anything they did, the duct was just stuck previously because it was so filthy from the previous tenant.
Above and beyond the call of duty, great company, great service, great prices.

Wow! I was very impressed with how the technician (unfortunately don’t remember his name) handled my situation. I hired them based on their great reviews and here I am, leaving one myself. :)
I needed dryer vent cleaning only and got a quote from the office for that service only. There was some miscommunication between the office and the tech and when he came in he cleaned the air ducts as well. (it was at a rental property so I didn’t know about it till after the fact). When he called me for payment and gave me a higher amount I explained to him that I only needed the dryer vent cleaned. He immediately said that he’d only charge me the quoted amount and that I got my air ducts cleaned for free. No arguments, no trying to get more money out of me! I was very impressed with how he handled that! So I’ll definitely hire them again!

This is a definite 5-​star business! Upon calling to schedule an appointment, I was greeted with a very friendly voice and he was able to accommodate for a weekend appointment with a 3 hour window. Lance was assigned to us, and he called about 30 minutes before he arrived at our home. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We have 14 vents across two stories and he told us that they had never been cleaned; no wonder my allergies have been kicking my butt! He was in and out in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. After he had finished, I definitely noticed a difference in the air and my allergies have not been as horrible since the vents have been cleaned. I highly recommend this business for your air duct cleaning needs! I will absolutely be using them again!

Chris came out today and cleaned our dirty air ducts… already smells and feels a lot better. He gave some good advice on the air filters we were buying (we were spending a bunch of money on the elite air filters, which aren’t needed if you change the filters monthly).
Will definitely use again in the future.

Can’t say enough good things about our experience with Honest Air Duct Cleaning. We went with them after reading all of the great Unilocal reviews and we were not disappointed. We had Lance come to our house and were impressed!

–Gave us insight as to why our allergies were acting up (previous owners left drywall pieces from a remodel in some areas of the ducts)

Another contractor another Unilocal find. This was one of my first «to do’s» when getting our new place since my wife and I both have bad allergies and since it was previously a rental, who knows when the last time the air filter was cleaned out.
The guy who came out (sorry forgot his name, I think he was the owners brother though) was very friendly was able to work around all the construction projects we had going on around the house and the lack of working electrical outlets. He took off all the vents and washed them down too and pointed out some vents had mold on them. He was able to wash them off, put a treatment on it to prevent mold growth and gave us some tips on air duct maintenance. I also found out our air vents are over 55 years old so if we wanted to get newer modern ones, they wouldn’t fit on the ducts, good stuff I wouldn’t have known.
Anyway I know I’ll feel much more comfortable in the house knowing our ducts were professionally cleaned by some of the best in the valley and we’re not getting ripped off by the big companies.
