I came to Xpert Auto because of the great Unilocal reviews and its pretty close to home. I only needed an oil change and I was in and out in under an hour, although that may be because it wasn’t that busy that day. Sam was pretty straight forward and no nonsense and also mentioned some items that would need work in the future. I’ll definitely be going back to these guys

Talking about service that cannot be duplicated in this area or town. The gentlemen went out of his way to fulfill my needs and ended up working on my vehicle almost the whole day. I really recommend this location because of their work ethics and honesty policy, which is hard to come across now a days.

My Toyota 4Runner has close to 200,000 miles on it and has been a good car for me but it needed routine maintenance along with some preventative maintenance and I needed to find a good local mechanic in the Burbank area because the dealer prices were just to expensive for my budget. I found Xpert Auto from all the good reviews it had received here on Unilocal so I gave the shop a try and I was very happy with their work. I found Sam the owner to be someone that cares about his customers. I knew what had to be done with the car and he gave me a fair estimate and the final bill was his estimated price. I do recommend Xpert Auto Repair in Burbank for car repair.

I have personally been going to Sam for the past 12 years and I will not go anywhere else. Sam is the last of the honest mechanics who won’t over charge you or upsale you on things you don’t need. I was buying tires once and the Firestone mechanics quoted me $ 1,500 for a repair that they said I needed immediately or else my car was dangerous to drive. I immediately took it over to Sam and he did the repairs for only $ 545 and told me that it wasn’t anywhere near as serious as the Firestone mechanics tried to lead me to believe. Thanks Sam!

I’ve been going to Xpert Auto Repair for years and years. Sam is totally awesome, and helped me keep my 1994 Toyota Corolla on the road. I have absolute confidence in the work done here and that the price is always fair. Went to this place on Monday to fix an electric back window that had frozen in the down position.
They quoted me a fair price and even fixed a piece of plastic that had been knocked loose and was rubbing on my front tire.
HIGHLY recommend, work was done on time, good attitude and fair price, what more could you ask for in a mechanic?

My car was repaired very quickly and I am extremely pleased with the service. It is rare to find reasonable, friendly and quick mechanics anywhere in Los Angeles. Xpert Auto Repair is the spot.

Sam is amazing!
I was on my way to work in the morning and stopped by Porto’s to pick a cake. When I got back to my car, I noticed that smoke was coming from the hood. I opened the hood and saw smoke and a mess of liquids. I’m a clueless girl when it comes to this sort of stuff, but I figured it couldn’t be good. My usual mechanic is in the Westside, so that wasn’t an option. I found Xpert on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. Boy, am I glad that I did!
Sam took a look at my car right away and told me I had a cracked radiator. Amazingly, Sam said he could take care of and have it to me by lunchtime (2 hours)! He gave me a great priced estimate and stuck to it. He even drove me to work and offered to pick me up as well.
THANK YOU SAM for saving my car! I would highly recommend Sam to anyone who is looking for a kind, HONEST, and very well priced mechanic!

Actually, it was years ago that I was here and that’s a good thing, as you’ll see in my review.
My old ’89 Jeep Cherokee had its transmission replaced by Sam and he did a great, great job — probably better than the original ‘factory’ transmission…
First, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable and done in just a few days (he tested it thoroughly).
My Jeep had about 130,000 or so miles on it when Sam rebuilt the transmission years and years ago. It now has over 305,000 and no problem whatsoever with the transmission.
I live on the Westside, but if I lived in Burbank, Xpert would be my go-​to place.
Yeah — what you think now, huh???
