Honestly I hate this place and will never be coming here ever again. I had many problems with this place, for starters when it was time to get my dog the lady wanted to charge me when my sister already paid and she clearly had a sticky note on her papers saying my dog was paid for and still tried to charge me and second the same lady GAVE ME THE WRONG DOG what if I took that dog or someone eles took my dog and the last problem I had was they hurt my dog they nipped her in her stomach honestly never coming here again sucks because this was also my first experience taking my dog to the groomers.

New place under new management that couldn’t be more helpful& friendly! The owner is an army vet (*we salute you!*) And this shops got really great bully sticks, cute outfits, fantastic grooming services that are awesomely priced, and only non-​GMO, all natural pet treats and organic food (& free samples too-​So you can try BEFORE you buy!)
There’s parking in the back, sand they’re also on a corner, so it’s in a great spot there on a corner and free parking on Ventura Blvd is usually such a hassle! I’ll be coming back for sure!

Love everything about this place they treat you like family and I feel so good leaving my wonderful little Milo there

UPDATE: NEW OWNERSHIP! After 3 years of being a satisfied customer, I’m not happy with the new ownership. Completely new staff, its all a bit chaotic and dis-​organized. It felt like they don’t know what they’re doing… Maybe the current issues will be solved over time, but I’m not sure if I will return to Pimp My Pooch…

My Beautiful Zoey has been going to Pimp my Pooch for over 4 years! I have to say I am so incredibly happy with them! Products are green friendly/​Organic! She always leave feeling soft shinny and silky!!! She has a very thick coat and they giver her the best cuts and blow outs! Also with their Sanitary cut, Incredible. I also love their teeth brushing which is incredibly affordable and their Blueberry facial is highly recommended. Byron is amazing and he know EXACTLYY HOW TO trim her and do the perfect cut on her! I just LOVE IT!!! The Management is loving kind and generous not only to our furry loved ones, but to us. Respectful and caring! I am pretty picky when it ccmes to my little Zoey and I just can’t have a better Salon chosen for her. I also recommend for thicker coat and sensitive skin like Zoey DO THE OATMEAL BATH. It is just $ 7 more but so worth it!!! THANK YOU PIMP MY POOCH FOR HELPING MY ZOEY STAY SHINNY AND GORGEOUS!

Only place I trust with my Yorkie, my yorkie pom and my rescue yorkie poodle (one that Andys groomers cut).

Awesome place they groomed both my dogs and took amazing care for them I am definitely going back! First time there and I was amazed plus I got two free treat bags for my two cats!

I took my dog in for grooming, and the man we had an appointment with was very rude and standoffish. He explained to me for a really long time that my dog might get cut in the process because her hair is long and has tangles. I sat in on the grooming and he was very aggressive with her, and she was afraid. He immediately just grabbed one of her legs and and started shaving with a clipper. After about 30 seconds, he gave up and refused to groom her, making no attempts to put her at ease. Complete waste of time and very unprofessional. The only thing positive I have to say is that the girls at the front desk were nice.

I have gone to dozens of groomers, from San Diego to LA. I have a handicapped dog who has a problem with her legs, making it difficult for her to walk and some times standing. Every other shop charges me $ 10 – 25 extra, which I understand I know she takes more time and patience and maybe an extra hand to hold her up. but this place loved her so much they even gave her a free toy! Which she proudly strutted down the street with!
I’m used to paying more for her, for everything. I adopted her after she was hit by a car and left on the streets for who knows how long in terrible shape, and healed incorrectly. I spend so much on her, giving her the best care and everything she needs, she’s worth it and so much more. However, it was so nice that for once someone helped me! Also she is picky! I know when she does not like a vet or a groomer! She will refuse to walk in, and she looks legit upset when I pick her up. She was so happy here! and Best of all, she was only there for about an hour, most places have you drop them off for half a day. I just can’t say enough good things about Pimp my pooch. The staff is great, they went above and beyond with the cut and shampoo it was perfect! Everything was amazing there. couldn’t be happier.

Friendly and clean. Chihuahua mix puppy had her first grooming session. She was clean and happy. Since she didn’t need trimming I can’t comment on that but she was clean and smelled like blueberries for a week.

This place is excellent. The staff and groomers really care about dogs and have a passion for the business unlike some other places. The prices are extremely affordable and on top if it all they do an amazing job. The whole process from start to finish was extremely easy and so pleasant. When I called in to schedule an appointment they were able to work with my schedule and accommodate what worked best for me. The staff there is so professional and organized. The grooming process did not take more than an hour and a half and my dog came out looking fabulous! I am so pleased with Pinch My Pooch and definitely will recommend them to all my friends and family. Finally a perfect grooming location has been found!

I love taking my puppy here! They’re always so nice and always fit me in even if it’s super last minute!
She always comes home extremely happy and excited! Her haircuts are always so cute they’ve even put bows in her hair!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Took my Maltese in to get a basic trim/​bath. Regular groomers I take him to were closed so I decided to take him here on a whim. They told me they would call me when he was ready… After hours of waiting for a call, I decided to call them myself to find out he was ready to go. When I went in to the store to pick him up, the man at the front desk was stuffing his face with pizza and couldn’t even find my dog’s paperwork. Very unorganized and unprofessional. He informed me that there was a «problem» with my dog. I walked into the back room to see my dog bleeding from his paws and tail. He, as well as the mat he was sitting on was covered in blood. Never has my dog scratched himself and bled at home so I knew that this was probably their doing. When I asked what happened, they told me that they think he has «a skin condition» causing his bleeding and that I needed to take him to the vet asap. The next day I took my dog to the vet and they informed me that his skin looked completely normal and the cause of the bleeding was indeed from them clipping him. I paid too much money for my dog to get a bad haircut and injury. Never taking my dog here again.

I normally bring my yorkie to petco for a full service cut, bath, etc… But I’m new to the Burbank area and wanted to find somewhere I could walk to so I called up «Pimp My Pooch». I was pumpt that they were able to schedule my pup in two hours. When I brought him in, the whole staff was super awesome! Fun, energetic and you could tell they loved their job! THATS what you look for when someone is taking care of a family member.
I was even more surprised when my pooch was done in about an hour and a half! Are you kidding me?!? That’s epic!
Finally, the cut was spot on! Probably the best cut he has ever gotten, honestly.
I’m going back for sure when my dog starts looking homeless again.

Brought my dog here for the first time today for growing. My dog hates having his paws touched, let alone groomed. I’ve taken him to different places and it’s been a traumatic experience for both of us. I went into Pimp My Pooch feeling very anxious due to past experiences. The employees at the front desk really listened to me when I told them about my dog’s anxious tendencies, so they were prepared for a difficult dog. It was a little rough at first. My dog can be very anxious and has a hard time trusting new people. He wasn’t happy to be left alone with strangers. When I came back, he came out wagging his tail and all smiles. I have no idea how they did it, but the groomers are clearly professionals. His nails were cut perfectly and he smelled amazing! Plus, he got a complimentary blueberry facial. He’s one handsome pup.
I’ll definitely be bringing my dog back here.

The price is amazing, almost half the price of other groomers $ 25 for everything including cutting her nails

he really helped me out on my tight schedule and accomodated us last minute. My puppy was really happy and clean and smelt like roses when we picked her up and her nails are finally not crazy and scratch us all over.
Will definitely be back. the most friendly customer service and grooming :)
so glad I found this place. hate having to hold my puppy down while washing her cause its impossible. leave it to the professionals and go have some lunch while you wait

I have three dogs. Two Chihuahuas, Dixie and Violet and a Poodle mix, Bodhi (named after one of the four sublime states in Buddhism, Bodhisattva). My friend Hazel wanted to treat him to a bath and cut at Pimp my Pooch because it had been a while since I was last able to do it myself. I usually hack him down with a pair of scissors (it’s a total botch job but it fits his personality), throw the three of them into the tub, scrub them down and let them air dry in the sun. But because it’s been so cold lately I haven’t been able to bathe them and Bodhi was looking a lot scraggly.
Before I continue I must also add that I bought Bodhi from a homeless guy about 9 years ago. The guy had him strapped to the front of his shopping cart filled with junk and was making him pull it. Two weeks of pleading with the guy and 80 bucks later he surrendered his dog to me and I took him to the vet. Two grand later he was in perfect physical health. Emotionally the dog is still a train wreck. He’s bipolar, manic, codependent, neurotic, stubborn and at times quite aggressive. He’s also never been to a groomer before.
So I take this hot mess of mine to Pimp my Pooch for a wash and cut. They tell me to come back in about two hours. As I leave I can see Bodhi is already on the table and the groomer is starting to work on him. Bodhi doesn’t look thrilled but he looks like he’s being manageable. I tell the groomer that he is food and affection motivated if it helps. I leave thinking, yeah, this actually might happen.
About an hour later Pimp my Pooch calls me and tells me to come get my dog. Bodhi had a meltdown and wouldn’t let them finish. I wasn’t surprised and deep down knew something like that would happen.
I arrived to pick up Bodhi and found out they were able to get his body but his face was only partially done because he started biting. Despite his face, and that’s to no fault of theirs, he looks good. He smells good, too. I’ll be able to fix his face on my own as he lets me do it. But I commend Pimp my Pooch for trying to work with my psycho mutt and keeping it professional. I’m certain Bodhi wasn’t the worst dog they encountered but I’m guessing he’s somewhere on the list.

The team at Pimp My Pooch is wonderful! From the super nice guy at the front to the groomer, they treat my dog Lucy like a little princess. I love picking her up from there, she not only looks amazing when I do but she smells delicious! Must be the blueberry facial she gets. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a GREAT groomer, they are the best in my book!

Cookie has never been pimped as well as at Pimp My Pooch.
The owner greeted us with a smile and the groomer treated her with love and kindness.

Great customer service… friendly staff! My dogs seemed relaxed when I picked them up so that’s definitely a good sign. :)
Also, we were first time customers so we received free teeth cleaning (which is usually $ 10) so that was great and were each given a free welcome gift. They cut their nails very well, some places barely cut them and leave them sharp. But they filed/​grinded them so they’re not as sharp as past experiences I’ve had. The place was clean and smelled good, so it’s sanitary and well taken care of, which says a lot. Will go back again and recommend this place for grooming.
