Art Norijanian took his passion for cars and 15 years of Ford Motor Company Dealership experience and opened All American Auto. He started the full-service shop with a simple idea: Provide quality work in a timely manner and first-time customers will become repeat customers. «This is the foundation of my business, Art says, «We take people’s trust seriously.»

Since opening his shop, Art has built his business on a foundation of honesty, quality work and customer satisfaction. As a testament to Art’s dedication to these values, much of his new business comes from referrals from existing customers who are happy with their experience.

GOD! I don’t know where to start from. First of, if I could give this place and the owner (Art) more than five stars TRUST ME I would have give it the constellation! Art is truly the most honest and sincere business owner and human I have ever come across! His service is SUPERB! If you have ANY issues with your car, this place should be your first choice in the whole world, and let me start by telling you how happy of a customer I was when I first set foot on his shop till the last moment when I went to pick my car up. FIRST… I find his business on Unilocal (while searching for an American Car specialist), I give him a call and describe the problem that I was having with my 2013 Ford Mustang, and immediately he gives me an appointment for the next morning. I take the car in the next day and the second I shook his hand before getting into business I could feel the fact that I was in the right place. He sits in the car and looks over the problem that I was having with my ENTIRE AC/HEATER/Stereo system as none em were working because of a messed up wiring job that the previous person working on the car had left. He then nicely explains it to me what the possibilities could be and breaks everything down one by one. Starting with… The car needed 2 different tests one for the wiring system and one for the AC/Heater, which would cost me a total of $ 230.00 for both test each at $ 115.00. I decide to drop the car off and have him run his tests. 2 hours later I get a call from him saying the Stereo is fixed and is running perfectly and the issue was simply from the socket on the back had come out, and that HE WAS NOT GOING TO CHARGE ME ANYTHING FOR THIS. AND I’m pretty sure if it was anybody else they would have lied and told me that they had to do hours and hours of hard work to fix this issue. He then contacts me to tell me what the problem was with the AC unit which if I wanted to have him do the repairs it would have cost me more than a grand, so I told him I didn’t want it and that I would pick the car up the way it was around noon the next day, I go in to pick the car up (all depressed and sad) and guess what? HE HAS FIXED THE CAR, EVERY SINGLE ISSUE IS RESOLVED AND THE BEST PART IS, THIS HONEST AND SINCERE GUY DOESN’T EVEN CAHRGE ME FOR THE REPAIRS, he only asks for the scanning cost which I had agreed with at the beginning when dropping the car off AND THATS IT! (As he decides to do some extra work on the car until my arrival to see if he could have simply done a full time student a little favor) A REPAIR COSTING MORE THAN A GRAND DONE WITH ONLY ONLY ONLY $ 260.00!!! IM FEEL BLESSED! And GOD BLESS THIS BUSINESS AND Art!!! I can not thank him enough for this!

Do not bring your vehicle here.
My car was involved in an accident and has damage to the front. A 2009 Ford Escape. The car is currently still being repaired. The mechanic working on my car told me to take it to a Ford specialist, as they will be able to reflash my cars ECU (computer system) because my car would not start.
I arrived to All American Auto in a tow truck with my car. The owner (Art) then runs out saying how he needs my car off of his lot right away, as he did not know that it was going to be damaged. (I had a 3 PM appointment)(I thought they deal with car repairs?)
The owner (Art) then takes me inside and begins yelling at me that «the car has many more problems then just a reprogramming.» He continues to yell about how he needs it towed off of his lot right when they finish their job. He continues to yell that this reprogramming will not do anything for the car. He tells me, «If I were you, I would scrap the car and take it to a junkyard.»
He ended up doing a diagnostic for my vehicle ($ 115). It states there is a problem with my fuel control module, which is «way beyond what he is able to work with», and that «there are no shops that will be able to fix this problem.»
The tow truck driver arrives to take my car back home, and tells me how newer model cars have a fuel inject button on the passenger side that allows the fuel to reach the engine. We get to my house, the tow guy literally pushes a button on the passenger side, and my car starts again. It is now fully operating.
I am a 23 year old full time student with a full time job. I trust the people I take my vehicle to, as I do not know much about repairing cars myself.
I was a paying customer of All American Auto. This was my only time here. I was yelled at by the owner (Art) majority of the time and was told to leave his lot ASAP.
He was bragging about how he has been in business for 18 years and has two auto shops in Burbank. Well my AAA tow guy should be running his business, as he fixed my cars problem in about 20 seconds. Thank you Art for taking my money. I would have hoped that 18 years would be long enough for you to learn how to work with Fords, as you claim.
He either stole my money (as he knew how to fix the issue the entire time), or he doesn’t know what the hell he is doing.
He is not a Ford specialist. He is just another business man. DO NOT bring your vehicle here.

I came to All American Auto after searching for a shop with good reviews for quite a while. The issue I was having with my car was something that I figured only a Ford dealership service center could repair because I had been to numerous mechanics to troubleshoot it (with no success) already. After doing some research and some digging, I made the decision to drive over 2 hours from where I live to Art’s shop and entrust him with my car, mainly because of the reviews and ratings here on Unilocal.
I had been having an issue with my car for almost a year and no other mechanic could figure out the issue. There was a grinding sound coming from the passenger front area that coincided with acceleration. I had taken it to 3 other mechanics in my hometown and had no luck. Two of the mechanics said they couldn’t pinpoint the sound and another said the only thing he could think of was the inner and outer CV axles. Both were replaced with no luck on getting rid of the sound. After reading about Art and his shop, I brought my car to him. He called me the next day to tell me the most obvious thing he could see just at first glance– the motor mounts were all bad. He said, «I’d be a bad mechanic if I didn’t start there.» Low and behold, it fixed the issue. The sound I was hearing was the imbalance of the motor and the vibrations traveling through the body of the vehicle.
After a year of having an annoying and frustrating grinding sound in my car, Art and his master technician, Morgan, were the folks to bring my baby back to life. Art was straight up and honest from the start when it came to telling me about the issues with my car. His customer service is excellent and he is extremely professional. Morgan went with me on a test driver when I went to pick up my car and took the time to listen and make sure the sound was gone. He took the time to give me a very detailed explanation of what the exact issue was and why it was making the sound it made.
I don’t think I could have asked for a better place to take my car. I highly recommend that you take your car to Art and Morgan if you have any issues. It was well worth the 2 hours of driving to get my car to them.

Truly A+ service. Art is an honest and more than fair business man. One of techs I met, Morgan, is a genius. Very knowledgeable and believe me when I tell you I gave them a very difficult project that no Ford dealer wanted to work on.
Take your car here if you don’t want to get ripped off by the dealer or other shops that don’t know what they are doing.

All American Auto is run by Art, a stand up, honest guy who knows what he’s talking about. No BS and no up-selling, and everything’s done right and fast.
The shop itself is cool, you have where to chill inside, it’s conveniently located near the Burbank Studios and there’s a lot of food places around where you can go grab something to eat while your car is being serviced.
5 star experience! Highly recommended.

All American Auto is my new go-to for my Ford Focus. It had been acting up with a weird series of things… ABS light coming on with clicking noises with the car braking on its own, the car not starting, the radio resetting… I took it to another mechanic — a good guy but not a Ford specialist — who suggested I go to a dealer. He thought I probably needed a new ABS sensor (as the diagnostic tool indicated) but there were some unusual voltage readings too.
After talking to a couple of dealers — one who would not commit to a price for diagnostics, saying $ 135 — 160 per issue and for a visual inspection only, not getting into the engine — I turned to All American Auto. Art quoted me $ 100 saying it would be applied to the repair if I did the repair with him. I met Morgan upon my arrival and it’s clear he loves his work. Art came in and was also just great. A lovely person and young dad.
I left my car there for several days while they kept driving it get the ABS light to come on. They had found some hidden corrosion on the battery but he wanted to be sure it was OK so he asked if he could keep driving it. After 3 days of driving, everything seemed fine. He charged $ 100 for all that work. He is really honest and will be my mechanic from now on. All the Unilocal reviews are spot in!

If you are looking for an honest and quality mechanic look no further! I was due for an oil change and conveniently my check engine light had come on. I called on Thursday afternoon and was able to drop my car off first thing in the morning on Friday. These guys were amazing and so was their customer service. When the figured out what needed to be fixed they called me and explained everything in detail and quoted me a fair price. I’ll definitely be coming back here and I’m glad I found a great shop in my area!

Great service!
I stopped at a nearby gas station just before heading into my office, only to return to a broken starter when I tried to finish my commute. Surprise!
I did a quick search on Unilocal to find a reputable mechanic (preferably walking distance from the office) and had my car towed here. They changed the starter before the end of the work day, calling me a couple times throughout the day to check in with me.
They recommended fixing an oil leak, so I brought my car back to them a couple weeks later. Again, it was fixed before the end of the work day. My only issue with them was that a vacuum hose hadn’t been fully replaced/sealed and my car nearly stalled at a light because of it. I brought it back to them thinking there was another issue with the oil tank, but they discovered the problem and fixed it within a few minutes.
I would definitely bring my car back here for any future repairs! (Bonus: I don’t even drive a Ford! I have a Hyundai and they were still very welcoming!)

If you have a Ford, do yourself a great favor and bring it here instead of Sunrise Ford Dealership on North Hollywood. — EYES CLOSED —
I have a Ford Focus and used to take it to the Ford Sunrise all the time since I didn’t know about this place. While in the Sunrise Ford, they will rip you off and never actually fix the problem in the long term, here they will fix it and FAST.
Art was very friendly, professional and knows about cars. I was expecting my car to take 2 – 5 days at least (I was used to the bad service at Sunrise Ford), but Art was able to fix the problem the same day. He gave me a reasonable and affordable estimate, plus all the recommendations I should keep in mind for the future.
Totally recommend this place. Great place!
