Swift Relocation Services

DO NOT use this company. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau! Also, their locations are FALSE!!. I would give them negitive stars if I could. So let’s start at the the beginning.
— I was moving and found their ad on Localsaver. I called and got a good deal with Chad and was excited. I prepaid $ 200.00 plus, $ 40.00 gas fee for the 2mover and 3hour special. So here comes moving day. They showed up in a regular Uhaul and no uniforms, ok. Somehow it took them the full 3 hours to load my belongings into the truck. I ask them do they have the new address and they say no. Now, I know that I made the reservation at least a week and half ago, but whatever. So, I said that they can follow me. Then this is when I started to get bothered. We got on the highway and I was going 55mph and they were at least 7 – 9 cars behind me. They had to be going 40−45mph. So, I’m still keeping cool. We get to the new place and I tell the lead guy, Robert that I only budgeted for maybe an additional hour and half. He says, «Don’t worry about it. We won’t charge you, just don’t tell my boss.» So I’m thinking that they do this all the time and make money on the side. So conveniently it takes 1 hour and 25 minutes to unload the truck. So I tip them and give them a couple bottles of wine since I recently found out that I cannot drink for the next 9 months. So now I m at the cable place and Robert calls me, stating that I now have to pay for the extra hour and half and to call Chad to settle my bill. So, I call Chad, no answer. The next day, Robert calls again and ask me to call Chad again. So, I call and William answers. I also forgot to mention the gashes and scrapes on my wooden dining room table. So, I inform William and send him pictures. He seems very helpful and says that he will talk to Chad. (I will upload the pictures also) Now this is where things get interesting. So Chad and I play phone tag. I miss his 1 and only call and call him back at both of his numbers and no answer. So I’m getting frustrated, so I try and go to their San Diego location and wow! It is not there! So over a week I try and call Chad, leaving several voice mails and nothing. So I decide to try something different. I use a different number and guess who answered? Chad! So, he promises that he will come and try to fix the table, just give him a time and date. I say, Monday at 11am. I ask is he sure before I take off of work and drive all the way home. He says he will be there. Monday morning comd and 1115am, nothing. 1145am, nothing. I call and call, no answer. So at this point I am very upset and beyond frustrated! I have wasted so much time and energy. So, I decide to drive all the way to Bonita, their other location and wow!!! It is not there again. I will upload those pictures also. I cannot believe my eyes. Please save yourself and DO NOT use this company. I have learned so much from this experience. First, do more research and it will pay off in the long run. Do not buy their Groupon also, they have somehow worked their way onto that app also.

Most amazing moving experience ever! It was SO easy. William and Robert did a great job! I am still amazed at how they got everything into my storage unit. I didn’t realize how small a 5 by 10 unit was, and when I saw it I thought there was no way we could fit everything in it– but they did! AND they made it so I can easily get to my clothes if I needed to. They took care of my furniture and tv. I would highly recommend them!

Great! Reliable! Friendly! On time! Would definitely recommend these guys for your next move!

William, Cesar and Robert were unbelievable! They were such hard workers, such friendly movers, and so respectful of and careful with my belongings.
I was still deconstructing my bed and headboard when they got there so they could take it on the truck, and they literally said «we do this all the time, we would be happy to finish that for you, feel free to pour yourself a cup of coffee and relax.» What in the world! They made the whole process so easy and unstressful, which are two words I’ve never used to describe moving. I would and will recommend Swift Relocation to everyone I know who is moving! Thank you guys!

I cannot express my relief and ease during moving with this company. They were professional and we called the day before the move and it was done without a problem. The prices were fantastic, the owner Chad is a professional and not a dodgey moving company owner. He was on time, scheduled the move perfectly and him and his employees were SO careful and FAST moving with my belongings and strategically moved everything with careful thought. Do not look elsewhere. He even stayed and helped unpack! I couldn’t believe it!

Chad is awesome. After reading a negative review (after Id booked their services), I became concerned and contacted them to say so. Chad was really kind and understanding and shared some of the circumstances of the negative review. I took him at his word that he would show up for my move, and not only did they show up, but they were kind and personable, extremely helpful and very trustworthy. I had so much stuff that we had to make multiple trips, and they were cool enough to give me a break on the already reasonable pricing. I would not hesitate to work with them again. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Swift Relocation Services. Chad and William were my crew for my move. They were so respectful and went above and beyond to move my 9 foot couch upstairs. It would not fit through the downstairs entry, so they pulled up the moving truck, put my couch on top and were able to get it onto the balcony and through my window. It was Amazing that they did not give up! So Grateful to you both. Thanks again… Victoria:)

WORST moving company I’ve ever dealt with. I would give them zero stars if I could… I found the company on groupon, they had a pretty good deal going. I had scheduled my move for 8:00 am on a Thursday. 10 minutes before the guys with the truck were supposed to arrive, I get a text from them cancelling on me saying they can’t make it with not further details. Right away I tried calling back, and of course no one would answer. After multiple tries calling, I get a text back saying they’re busy and will call me back (Which he never did). I wait a little while and try again, and continue to try until I finally get through. Come to find out, there was a problem with their truck, most likely they booked too many people at once, because they asked If I could reschedule. I had already taken the day off from work, and had to be out of my apartment as my lease was up, and new tenants were moving in. So NO, no I could not be flexible with my appointment. I complained and asked if there was anything they could do, as they’ve left me in a poor situation, bailing on me with basically no notice… The guy told me to give him 15 minutes so he can make some calls and see what he can do for me. 30 minutes goes by and still no call. Surprise Surprise. I try calling back, no answer. Finally, I just start making calls around to see if by chance any other moving companies have last minute opening that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg. After I finally found one, (Pack-​It Movers who were amazing by the way and saved my life, I will definitely be using them again), I texted Swift Movers to say forget about helping me, I’ve found a new company, they text me back right away saying «Ok». Cool thanks.
The next thing I had to deal with was getting my money refunded… The first time I texted asking «when will I see the refund to my credit card?». The response I got was «yes». A few days later when I noticed the charge was still on my account, I called the company to ask when I will be refunded. The guy told me his brother would take care of it that day. He did not… The charge was still there. I texted again, demanding my refund, reminding them how a week had gone by, and I’ve called and texted multiple times asking for my money back and had still not received it. I ended my text saying I will contact the better business bureau if I do not receive my refund. Of course no one answered. I ended up having to call my credit card company to ask them to remove the charge, which they did in a simple 5 minute phone call.
All in all, terrible company, waste of my time and energy. Had they refunded my money right away, I wouldn’t have been as angry with them and left such a horrible review. But that was the icing on the cake… I highly recommend booking with a different moving company.
