I can’t say enough good things about San Diego Moving Services. In the office, Selena handled my order. She explained everything and answered my questions. I received the follow-​up emails and was called 30 min before the guys showed up. Abdul and his team were great. They hustled and loaded and unloaded the truck. The entire process was within the timeframe Selena and I discussed. It was the least stressful move I’ve ever had. They are professional and no surprises. I will use them the next time I move. I highly recommend them. Thank you, San Diego Moving Services and team.

I made a mistake with scheduling and was charged an extra $ 300 but the movers were professional and patient with me. I would highly recommend trying them out if you need moving in the SD area. Next time I will do some more homework and pack better before the movers come. Communication is key in all areas of life so do communicate with them about your needs and timing.
Amir the manager is very helpful as well. I will use them again next time.

These guys were absolutely the best movers we’ve ever had. SO patient, hardworking and were early. Communication was excellent from beginning to end and you can tell they have the customer at the center of all their business. Thumbs up to Abdul & Tiger! I was extremely disappointed about how my move was handled my San Diego Moving Services. After reading such positive reviews I expected it to go seamless and quick, and it was nothing of the sort.
I was only moving a 1 bedroom apartment into a new studio only 5 blocks down the street. I have NO furniture (NO couch, entertainment unit, big TV, coffee table, dining set, etc), only a bed and a dresser. This move was scheduled to take a minimum of 3 hours which I honestly expected to be less because I don’t have much stuff — it ended up taking FOUR. It was obvious that the movers were moving a slowly as possible to gain money from the extra hours that would be charged to me after the 3 hours of initial deposit.
I started timing them, interested why they were taking so long between each trip, they were taking almost 15 minutes between my apartment and their truck. I assumed they were spending time loading my stuff into the truck, only to the find my stuff scattered around the truck hours later instead of loaded.
In addition, the only reason why the move didn’t take longer was because I loaded/​unloaded items MYSELF. I climbed into the back of the truck and start offloading items because they were taking so long (they were only taking one box, chair at a time, instead of loading items on the dolley). I am a 109lb female, so the fact that I was able to move faster than both of them shows you how little effort I felt was being put into the move.
There were several unprofessional acts displayed by my movers that made me uncomfortable. First, they showed up in a polo, cargo shorts, and Hollister T-​Shirt. I was bothered by this because I felt like I was hiring a professional moving service, so appropriate attire was expected. Additionally, the movers spent a large amount of time whispering under their breath when I was standing alone with them in the apartment. That made me very nervous and I didn’t think that was polite or professional at all. Especially when you feel like the comments are about you. Lastly, my jaw nearly hit the floor when one of the movers asked me how much I was paying for RENT! I thought that was the most unprofessional remark someone could make when they’re handling your personal items — I believe the cost of rent is something that shouldn’t even be discussed between friends, much less a moving company.
Lastly, my two best friends moved into the same building as I did the following day. They have furniture, two people, a dog, and were moving from a farther location than I did, and their move took less than two hours with another company. This solidified my opinion of San Diego moving services. It is unacceptable that a studio/​1 bedroom move, to a place only 5 blocks away, and a client without any furniture took 4 hours. Absolutely unacceptable. Before leaving this Unilocal review, I tried calling the manager 3 times and was unable to get ahold of them. That, to me, reflects very poor customer service.

John and Olim were great! They moved an insanely heavy dresser for me without complaining, they just made it work down and up flights of stairs and into a narrow space. They maximized the time and I am grateful for their help! They even added two extra stops to move some furniture out of the way for me. I will absolutely call them again, you can’t find a better price!

After many, many years of using the same movers that are now retired, I needed to find a new moving company, and frankly was at a complete loss with no referrals. My daughter found San Diego Movers via Unilocal (she also found 2 others for comparison) and upon reading the consistent and wonderful reviews about San Diego Movers, I called to see if it was «too good to be true»…and WOW… am I glad I selected them! I needed to arrange a move from San Marcos to my new apartment in Los Angeles, and from the moment I phoned, I found Ali to be polite, professional, knowledgeable and of course, you can’t beat the discount for paying cash! The movers, Max and Timure, arrived right on time, and literally did not stop working until I was safely moved into my new place. They were both friendly, professional and polite, obviously experienced, and seriously did not waste a moment! Every little (and big!) thing was wrapped, protected and moved with not a scratch or break of ANYTHING! I WOULD SO recommend San Diego Movers to all my friends and family and the community at large… I KNOW you’ll be so happy with your move if you do, too! THANK YOU Max and Timure, and Ali and your team… you made a tough experience go so smoothly, and while I don’t expect to move for some time now, I will be calling you the next time I do! What can I say? First time using professional movers & well worth the costs.
Two movers (John & his colleague) were so quick, organized, & safe with our one bedroom furniture that they definitely will be recommended to others.
Moving is such a headache & may cost you stress, time, & property damage doing it yourself, why not spend a little to avoid all of that.

I have to say these 2 guys, Ramon and Ali, are awesome, fast and funny. They were very professional and finish the move on time. Not only they were able to move my house across town but the price are the best. I would recommend them to my friends.

I wanted to share my very positive experience of working with San Diego Moving Services on a recent move. I found them initially on Unilocal and their high review score was confirmed for me a couple of weeks ago. I went online to request a quote and from there everything went smoothly with communicating the contract until my last piece of furniture was in my new place!
Eldar, Ruslan and Zakire showed up on time, ready to work, and were very friendly! The brought wardrobe boxes, blankets, tape, everything needed to ensure my belongings would be safe during the move. They did a fantastic job!
I highly recommend their services and their prices were lower than several other companies I called but their customer service was top of the line!

I’ve moved a lot and this is the first time I’ve used this company and this is by far the best! Ramon and Joey were quick and courteous. And Ramon even helped put my dresser mirror back together! I would definitely use this company again.

Called on a Sunday afternoon to ask about prices for moving a couch. They were very professional and had reasonable prices. I ended up not using their services since we had a family member pull through, but I will definitely check them out again if I need moving services!

Romone, Dalton, Joey, were awesome! They came in did a quick walk through and got busy! They were kind, courtesies, and REALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE! If I move again, these are my go to guys, great job guys!!!

Used these guys for my move from La Jolla to Mission Valley. Had Allen and Ivan. Not only did they do an awesome job, but it was an hour less than I anticipated. Highly recommend them.
