Landmark at Barton Creek

All I can say is positive things about Landmark. Living here has made it easier to adopt an active lifestyle, not to mention enhance my pup’s well being. With a dog park, location in a safe and clean neighborhood for running, and a 5 minute walk to the greenbelt this place is amazing and makes it easy to be 100% satisfied with an apt community. Staff is all very friendly, and Robert goes above and beyond. If you’re considering to move to central Austin, this should be your first and last stop in your new apt home search!

Leasing office is rude, inconsiderate and not helpful. LAT Apts (company that owns this property) has managed to nickel and dime its tenants the entire time I’ve lived here. I’ve been here just shy of two years and I am appalled at the lack of integrity they’ve shown me while I’ve rented here. Any maintenance request takes forever to be handled. Most issues are flat out ignored. The location is great but the company running it is the WORST. I would never rent here again.

I’ve lived here since this place was Mission Barton Creek — back when it was disorganized, chaotic and the full blown pool and apartment ragers were a bit much — and I’m not one to shy away from a good pool party. But since Landmark took over, its a whole new world. First off — The phenomenal office staff, Matthew and Robert. These gentlemen are never not busy. They’re also never too busy to be completely attentive, kind, respectful, helpful and just all around professionally personable. Since I’ve been in the same apartment for over three years now, surely things are bound to need maintaining and these two have been nothing short of super heroes in helping us maintain our unit’s integrity. I’ve lived in complexes where management is just horrendous — Rude, unprofessional, non-​communicative and just awful. This is so NOT the case at Landmark. As long as I live in Austin, I’ll live at Landmark. And as long as I live at Landmark, I am nothing short of privileged to have people like Robert and Matthew to always be of help and kindness. Thanks guys! We love our home!

The office staff at the Landmark at Barton Creek are phenomenal. They are always helpful and will go out of their way to make sure that your needs are taken care of. Aside from the office staff, my maintenance needs were responded to right away. The location is great and the amenities are extremely convenient to have so close to the units.

Just signed a lease here! Matthew and Robert were so incredibly kind and helpful! Matthew walked us through the process and was so patient with all our questions. He really cares about the people moving in here! So excited to be apart of this wonderful community.

I signed a contract for a move-​in date of June 1^st. Bottom line is I can’t get a confirmation of my move-​in and I’ve called repeatedly and for days and can’t get Robert to return my calls. I’ve called and escalated 3 times and still no call back. I’m supposed to move-​in in two days and spoke to several people at the office today and no one can confirm my move-​in date! My life is on the line here and I have enough stress from just coordinating the logistics of moving. This is causing me financial and emotional stress that is unacceptable. I will update this review once I hear back from them. At this point, don’t even think about moving here!

This place gets one star for their location, but everything else about living here is a nightmare. The management is absolutely terrible. They are rude and inconsiderate, and usually completely unreasonable. They are quick to blame someone up (or down) the chain or often blame their computer system for errors and inconveniences that would have been avoidable or reparable. Stay away from here, the location is nice but it’s not worth the headache of dealing with the people here.

So far a really good experience. Ed and Daniel are the maintenance people and they were one of the first experiences I had here. I had some issues with the water heater and they were there right away. They went above and beyond when they had to take out a pantry shelf to get to the heater. They had to recut several times to get the wood back the way it was and help to keep my shelf. They were super friendly and quick with their work. Other than that Its really quiet in my apt and there is a great grill by the pool that I use a lot! Management has been kind and informative as well. Overall a good place to stay for the price!
