History

Established in 2007.

Nonprofits have come to rely on Andrew Bost Benefit Auctions year after year for Andrew’s ability to entertain an audience and maximize revenue.

In 2002, Andrew Bost began his auctioneering career as a record-​setting fine art auctioneer for Park West Galleries.

In 2007, Andrew was in the first ever class of auctioneers designated Benefit Auctioneer Specialists by the National Auctioneers Association.

In 2010, Andrew was a presenter at the first ever Benefit Auctioneers National Summit.

In 2011, Andrew helped Episcopal High School of Houston increase their Paddles Up revenue from $ 15,000 to $ 170,000.

In 2012, at the first ever auction for Beyond Batten Disease Foundation, Andrew helped raise $ 529,000 between the live auction and Paddles Up.

Andrew has always loved the stage. All through high school and college, Andrew performed as an actor, singer and dancer in various roles and various theaters.

Upon completion of a psychology degree from the University of Utah, he took to the high seas, working as a performer on cruise ships, sailing the world and visiting 34 countries. In 2002, Andrew picked up the auctioneer’s gavel for the first time, selling fine art on cruise ships.

Looking to settle down, he moved to Austin, Texas in 2004.
