Xtreme was assigned by American Home Shield Warranty Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2014, as an emergency service request due to A/​C blowing hot air. Even though it was an emergency situation due to the high temp being over 100 degrees in Phoenix, Xtreme would not arrive until Monday morning at the earliest. This morning Xtreme technician arrived and in a few minutes reported the A/​C needed a new compressor: it would need to be ordered, and will take three to five business days. By this time we’d suffered for three days with no A/​C, and I chose not to wait until next week for the Xtreme repair.
Xtreme is deceptive and predatory and relying on desperate homeowners who are at the mercy of American Home Shield’s restrictive policies.
Monster Air LLC arrived within one hour and in five minutes technician Dwight diagnosed the problem as the hard start kit and our house is already cooled down to 70 degrees.
