La Habra Relocations

Used this company to move my mom from Southern to Northern California. A representative came out, took an inventory of all items she was moving and emailed us an estimate. The price was fair and less than the two other companies we spoke with. Added bonus — they had a driver who was willing to deliver the load the next day. The movers arrived on time, were very careful with all items and worked very fast to pack the truck. The next day, they were on time, unloaded everything without incident and finished in record time. All the guys were friendly and had great attitudes — wanted the customer to be happy. No hidden charges — price paid was price quoted. I would definitely use this company for any future moves.

This was the worst moving experience we have ever had. After telling us that we needed to have the glass from our table packed up in one of their boxes one of the moving men who was packing it dropped the glass onto a tile floor in our home and broke it in a thousand pieces. It was a $ 700 table and we received a check for $ 36 on our claim. We even had to make another claim to get the cost of the carton back.
Also we had to wait an extra 2 ½ hours for the truck to arrive at our new home because the driver was not licensed to drive that particular truck and was stopped at the truck stop.

We recently had to move out of our home to get new flooring installed and then move back in. In the process of completing the construction we had unforeseen delays and had to reschedule 3 times with La Habra. Not only were the moving crews fantastic and helpful on both sides of the move but also the corporate office. Marguerite was very accommodating with our changing schedule.
Other moving companies nickel and dime customers and send unfriendly moving guys. La Habra Relocations were very accommodating and reasonable. The crew was happy and hard working.

I was asked to remove my post … I am sorry at this point we cannot, as I feel if someone wrongs you — you must forgive. So I will raise my rating to show forgiveness, but the problem I have in removing my post is that the Owner received the bill for all the damage to my furniture, which was over $ 1500.00 dollars to repair and a list of broken Leadro miniature’s, Christal and missing tools etc… His response was all I can give you is $ 500.00 which means we could not repair my damages and no compensation for the missing or distroyed items «as this is his policy he is self insured»… So I still stand by my post…

We moved in August from a 2500 SF 2-​story house in Laguna Hills, CA to a 2400 SF 3-​story (including basement) in Colorado. After searching the internet and reading reviews on Moving Companies we were exgtremely concerned that this would be a horrible experience. We were very pleasantly suprised. Dale, the agent came to give us the quote, gave us packing tips since we were doing our own packing. He spent a considerable amount of time answering questions. We had follow up questions which we left messages for him on and he responded to them within a day. the officed called 2 days prior to move date to give us the driver/​packer contact info and confirm dates. Unfortunately we did not get unloaded on the date we originally requested, but it was within the 4 day window they are allowed per contract. On the day of the move the driver/​packer (Manny) showed up on time and wrapped the furniture to reduce risk of damage. The load was larger than the estimator anticipated but since it was a guaranteed quote, we were not charged anything additional, and everything still made it on the truck.
The driver also showed up on time at the move in and got right to work. The only item damage was a refrigerator. We are currenty in claim process to get it fixed or replaced but so far they have been handling that satisfactorily.
The driver and the packers at both the move out and move in here were professional, hardworking, friendly and thankful for the drinks and food we provided them. One note — we fed them breakfast, lunch and dinner… I would recommend doing that because the happier the movers are… the happier you are. There were even 2 items at move in that we had them put on the main level and later decided we wanted in the basement. They moved both of these large items (Futon and Big Screen TV) to the basement without complaint — I know from research that once something is set down it is not relocated so I thought this was going above and beyond the call of duty.
Everything about our experience with La Habra Relocations and Wheaton Van Lines was exceptional. I could not be happier and would recommend them to anyone I know without hesitation. If we are ever in need of a professional moving company here in Denver we will go thru Wheaton again.

I have to tell you I was worried about any movers, and these guys exceeded my expectations. Dale, my account rep, was a very nice guy, made great suggestions when he came out, and responded to any of my questions very promptly. I had received an estimate from this company and from Benkins. Benkins was $ 300 more! We almost booked them because we were thinking they were more trustworthy. So glad we didn’t. Glad we were able to save money and get outstanding service. My crew showed up early! (unheard of) and were done in record time. They took the time to wrap all the furniture well. My head guy on moving day, Carlos, was outstanding. So friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. This was a local move from Mission Viejo to San Clemente. From a two story to a single level. I would def. recommend these guys in a heart beat.

In a word — amazing! We heard about La Habra Relocations through a recommendation from a friend. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and extremely skilled in moving. On the day of our move they arrived on time and went to work immediately. The house we moved out of was split level with two flights of stairs. They handled it with ease — moving appliances, furniture and boxes with care. They listened to all of our instructions both for loading and unloading. In the end we were absolutely pleased — couldn’t have asked for more —. nothing broken, not a scratch on any of our belongings, and boxes placed conveniently in the places we had requested. The price we were charged was exactly what was estimated… and it was a great deal. We would recommend La Habra Relocations to any of our friends or family.
