Boudoir Boutique offers fashion styling and consultation advise for events and special occasions and has a celebrity client list.

History

Established in 2007.

Started as a small store which quickly needed to expand due to demand the store now trades from Cavern Walks and is a major destination for all the fashionable girls in the know of Liverpool.

Business Owner

Amy has worked as a personnel shopper, stylist and buyer for many years. During this time Amy has worked on magazine shoots and fashion shows. Press during the past year has included fashion coverage in More. OK, Hello, Now, Daily Mail, Daily Star, Gossip and Liverpool Echo and Daily Post. Amy recenly collaborated with Modo to put on a Boudoir inspired show where Sophie Ellis Bexter was DJ.

I remember shopping in Boudoir Boutique when it was a tiny dark liittle shop, on Mathew Street, I liked it then, I love it now. There are now two spacious floors in the Cavern Arcade devoted to Boudoir’s gorgeous clothes, jewellery and accessories. The style of the store is a little indefinite; it’s glamorous and girly, a little alternative and eclectic; it’s unusual and individual rather than peculiar and abnormal! It is expensive but really beautiful quality original pieces so ideal for a special occassion; I shopped here for my school leaver’s dress and 21st birthday dress.

If you’re looking for a new dress, Boudoir Boutique is a good place to start. Spread over two floors, they stock an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary labels from Christian Dior and Ossie Clarke to Laura Lee. As it’s summer, they currently have racks and racks of eye-​catching dresses including flowing maxi dresses, cheeky mini dresses, shoulderless dresses, puffball prom dresses, glittery and sequinned dresses and 80s inspired dresses.
My favourite is the gorgeous pink, black and white striped number. Sadly, the number on the price-​tag didn’t match the money in my purse. Maybe next month?!

Boudoir Boutique situated just outside Cavern Walks stocks dressy dresses with lots of basque-​esque and lacy numbers which are really alternative in style and although the general prices are quite expensive, they have lots of sale items which are really good finds for the quality.
They stock really selective and quirky items which seem rather arty and designer… I saw an awesome multi-​coloured Andy Warhol Marylin Monroe repeated print dress which I couldn’t pull off, but if you can, please buy it!
They also sell very embellished jewellery and the contents are much like the surroundings, a little over the top but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

This boutique is on the outside of the Cavern Walks boutique mall, and there are two floors of fashion, shoes, gifts, furniture, jewellery, and more.
The clothing lines seem mainly very feminine, lacy, and frilly, though I did see some items more in the steam punk department. A lot of the jewellery had a vintage, big gaudy look to it, though I think everything here is new. Some of the unusual gift items I noticed were cute, colourful flatware and flowered candles. There were also a lot of photo frames and other average gifts such as those you might find in Past Times.
Some of the lines they carry: Arrogant Cat, Sara Berman, Laura Lee, Darling, Forever Unique, and Christian Dior Vintage.

Covering 2 floors in Cavern Walks, this is an alternative clothes shop that makes me want everything on the rails! I mean, it really is hard to just stick to window shopping here. Some of the clothes have a definite vintage inspiration and I’m like a magpie when I see shiny, glittery things, of which there is much.
Again, Cavern Walks prices mean this isn’t a cheap shop, but these designs are so funky and fresh I’d actually consider saving up for a year so I could go wild in here. The shop has expanded from what used to be a small, crowded room, so business must be going well. It seems to be the sort of shop that not only appeals to the fashionistas wanting to find a statement outfit, but also the regular you-​and-​me type people who just like pretty things. Definitely one to indulge in!

This gorgeous little boutique in the heart of Liverpool’s fashion quarter is in the same location as the famous wag boutique Cricket. Boudoir has some beautiful unique pieces, if you want something a bit different. Louise the owner is on hand most days to give you her ‘proffesional stylist’ experience. Her jewellery and bags and accessories are to die for! You can even buy one of her chandeliers!!!
