This was our very first dining experience in Puerto Rico and let’s just say it was meh… We were recommended this restaurant by a nice woman on the airplane and of course read up on the Unilocal reviews. Decided to give it a shot and it was just ok. Nothing special. When we first walked into the restaurant, we were not greeted by anyone. A waitress came by and just showed us to our table. The table was slightly still dirty with food remnants of whoever previously sat there. I thought it was a nice gesture that they brought us each a complimentary shot glass of their margarita to sample. Waitress wasn’t really attentive and it was not busy in the restaurant at all. It was hard to get her attention, but she was very nice. We got the Blonda Burger — beef pattie, plantains, cheddar cheese, bacon and the Yuca Mofongo. The burger was yummy and flavorful. Bacon was very meaty and crunchy. The plantains gave the burger that sweet and savory effect. The Yuca Mofongo tasted like mashed potatoes with bacon in it, but it was great mashed potatoes with bacon. lol I recommend this place for their burger and a place to go if it’s in walking distance to where you’re staying!

This place is just okay. Service was friendly but we felt rushed – we still had food on our plates and they just kept asking if we were finished yet. Food was just alright – I had the vegetable omelette and a latte. The latte was smooth but didn’t live up to the standards of other lattes I’ve had on the island(also, no latte art!). The potatoes and omelette were both overcooked and very chewy. I liked the hot sauce that came with it – kind of like a salsa hot sauce. While not spicy, it still had good flavor.

Had a good meal here. The chips were made fresh in house and the salsa rocked. I had the beef Quesadilla and it was excellent. Good beer available too. Super nice staff too. We will be back. Fish tacos were good too.

What a wonderful place! I had the burger with plantains, the best burger I had in my life!!! The burger was cooked great. My husband had the fish tacos and he was very happy with his selection. The slaw and the cilantro in the tacos were excellent. Our server Hector was warm and welcoming. Thanks for a great meal!

Visiting on Vacation, my wife and I noticed the long line walking around. The Following day we went for brunch and were extremely satisfied. Great customer service and the mimosas were on point!!! and the Food was equally satisfying. Highly recommend!

This place is an obvious favorite amongst locals, it’s loud, busy and has a great vibe. We ordered the Blonda Breakfast, it’s a sampler platter with rather larger portions. Home fries seasoned to perfection, French toast tasted like an elephant ear(yaay), pancake was light and fluffy with like a buttery whipped cream topping and caramel-like flavored syrup. The fail on this platter was the Benedict, the muffin was… it just wasn’t good. My iced café con leche was watered down but my husband liked his Bloody Mary. We usually go down another block to Pinky’s but wanted to try something different(we’ll stick with Pinky’s).

This place has a great vibe and is located just 2 – 3 blocks from the Condado beach in a residential neighborhood. The food was great and our server was extremely nice and helpful. We had a flight to catch and she made sure that we got our food quickly, and she even called in a taxi for us so that we can get to the airport on time. The food was great — We got a Fajita and a burger, both were delicious and the portions were big too. This place is great for brunch and is busy on weekends.

My Airbnb host recommended a stop at Blonda and I’m glad she did. First, we were welcomed by a pleasant waiter who provided us with«welcome margarita shots». Imagine that! Friday evening starting off right? Check. Just so happens that they were having a happy hour with a two-fer of those same mararitas. Those margs there were the best I enjoyed at any time on the island. No doubt. For dinner, I enjoyed fish tacos that were not only delicious, but an excellent value. You get two with your order and they’re so huge you have to knife-and-fork them. No hands here. I can’t wait to go back to PR and hit up Blonda to try more food … and cocktails, of course!

Stumbled upon this place while walking around the neighborhood of our Airbnb looking for a late lunch. My boyfriend and I got split the fish tacos, tomato and cheese pizza, and a side of fried plantains. I would definitely recommend the fish tacos but the pizza and fried plantains were just okay. Plantains were very hard and tough to cut and chew.

Ambiente es excelente. Moderno y bien casual. Servicio realmente excelente.

Do not miss the breakfast here. Omelets are gigantic and good for two meals. The French Toast is decadent! It’s easy to overlook this place for breakfast but it would be a big mistake. They also have lunch specials now which are easy on the budget but same good food.

Great breakfast! Had the Blonda breakfast which had a little bit of everything. Eggs Benedict was perfect! The hollandaise sauce had just the right amount of citrus and the eggs were perfectly runny. French toast was not overly sweet and delicious. Pancakes were great as well. My friend had the vegetarian omelette which came over a sizzling plate, which he said was tasty and a large portion. Definitely a good option for breakfast!

On my trip to PR the first place I went to eat was at Blonda. The food was delish. We had the mofongo, plantains and the fish tacos. They were great. We again visited for the brunch special. Definitely recommend the Blonda Breakfast and the Mimosa platter ;)

Nice restaurant in the Condado area. Good food, nice decoration, slow service. Hamburgers are huge and tasty and I recommend the fish tacos. Popular for breakfast and brunch. Expensive but worth the money and wait.

Another underwhelming brunch offering in the San Juan area. Too pricey, too slow and too average. I had heard a lot of hype about this place and it was a brutal disappointment. There was a wait when we arrived. We were told it would be 15 minutes until our table was ready. Half an hour later, they are seating us. We ordered promptly, and then waited 50 minutes before the food showed at the table. We asked often about the status of our food, and were told the kitchen was busy because the place was packed. Not sure why they are seating so many guests if the kitchen can’t keep up. When the food arrived, it was unimpressive. I got the salmon Benedict. The English muffin wasn’t toasted, but soggy. And the Benedict sauce was very bland. My wife ordered the French toast: a huge chunk of bread wi little flavor to it. The plating was beautiful for all the dishes, but the meals did not match in taste.

We are visiting from the US and love this beautiful island. This restaurant is just fair. The food was not great at all and our waiter(Ricco) was terrible! Not nice at all and we had to wave him down every time we needed something. He scoffed at us when we asked for water. The Benedict was good but the breakfast burrito was gross.

My husband and I came to the Blonda Condado on the last morning of our honeymoon… it was by far the BEST breakfast place we visited during our trip. My husband ordered the French Toast and a side of bacon and eggs, and I had an order of pancakes, side of house fries, and side of bacon… little did we know, the portions were huge!!! My husband was so into his french toast, that he stopped talking lol. Everything was delicious. Definitely get an order of the house fries! Overall, our meal was delicious!

We asked our hotel concierge for a recommendation for breakfast/brunch spot so we ended up here. Ordered the mimosa sampler where you get 4 tastings. I ordered the tamarind, ginger, raspberry and another flavor. The ginger had a kick but was my favorite. I ordered the french toast with strawberries and vanilla with a side of bacon. My husband ordered the pancakes, with a side of bacon and potatoes. Wish I would’ve read the reviews because my french toast was HUGE! The bread they used was at least 1.5″ thick. We could have easily shared it. It was okay just obnoxiously big. Although the entrees were huge, the sides were tiny. My husband’s side of potatoes was by far the smallest side I’d ever seen in my life. It was in a small ramekin that could have easily been used to hold a dipping sauce. Had it been part of his meal, it would’ve been fine but since it was an added cost it was definitely a waste of money. Somehow between our two $ 12 entrees, 2 sides of bacon, a side of potatoes and 2 mimosa samplers our bill ended up being $ 80. The buffet breakfast in the hotel was way less than that. When you added in parking and tip we paid $ 100. We were on vacation so we didn’t stress it but for a place that’s practically a diner that’s a bit much.

Must try. If your visiting Puerto Rico and are in the condado area this is a great place to come for breakfast. Their brunch is really good and reminds me of brunch in miami but less hectic. Tables are available and service is great and quick. Especially for a place right by the beach. Must come and walking distance from the double tree if you are staying there. Ordered the chilquila and blonda omelet(huge). It was delicious served on a skillet and still hot when your eating. The mimosas are also yummy and they have a variety. Prices are also reasonable. Perfect!
