Recommended by locals? Then hell yes, I’m going to try it out!!! Of course, the smoothies are worth trying. I got the banana papaya smoothie w/water & brown sugar. Delicious, thick & smooth without the overbearing sweetness that accompanies fake smoothies. This is all fresh, all deliciousness. The café con leche is by far one of the best I’ve had. Strong coffee w/fresh milk & a tint of sweetness from a bit of added brown sugar. The drunken pilot is wholesome goodness. Scrambled eggs w/mushrooms, tomatoes & onions topped w/2 dollops of goat cheese and accompanied by soft toasted white bread cut in half & lightly buttered. Diner-like service. Don’t expect anything fancy. There tends to be a wait also.

Went here and got the Mallorca with a smoothie and both were amaze. The Mallorca has and egg bun with cheese and ham. It’s just a great way to start your day and very filling. The bun, cheese, and ham were all fresh and tasty. We also got a couple strawberry smoothies — one with milk & one with juice. Both of these are very flavorful. Service was good & efficient and it was just a great place for breakfast

The service was great and everyone was nice and the food was amazing too. I got an order of pancakes and it was great. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants.

Pinky’s has great reasonably priced breakfast! The coffee was amazing! The waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions and made recommendations for us all based on our preferences. Side note– My 6 year said the waitress was attractive and wanted to go to Pinky’s everyday to see her. I can’t remember her name but she has short dark hair and rides her bike to work… The restaurant is located across the street from The La Concha Resort. Great food, reasonable prices, and customer service. One of my top recommendations for breakfast in Puerto Rico! Four stars only because they ran out of quite a few items… however, substitutes were still awesome!

Got the Mallorca sandwich(3 runny fried eggs, Swiss cheese and ham on a sweet bread)… Totally awesome! And their café con leche was devine. I swear to god, I haven’t had one bad meal in PR, PR really knows their food!

So amazing! We got the Mallorca and the Breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious. The smoothies and coffee are what make this place top tier. We got the go green and peanut butter smoothies which were fantastic. Lastly the café con leche(both iced and hot) is to die for. I ended up getting 2 iced café con leches, and am definitely going to come back for another before we leave! Great service and reasonably priced. You must try it! Update– We came back for breakfast again. Got the goat cheese scramble(added spinach and avocado) and the pancakes. The omelette was the best omelette I’ve ever had. The flavors were so delicious.

Must try! One of the best recommendations ever! As soon as my stylist told me about Pinky’s I looked them up here, and OMG, the photos and rave reviews are legit! I love the location, and am ecstatic it’s within walking distance of our rental! The waitresses are adorable, the coffee is delish, and the back of the menu is ridiculously well written! Some of the best copy I’ve ever seen as a matter of fact! You have to try the breakfast sandwich or you’ll hate yourself. Not because other items aren’t delicious(they are) but because it’s just.that.good! Also the orange juice and batidas are totally worth it. I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so. In the half hour or so I was here, about 10 parents found their way to a table after dropping off their little ones across the street at St. John’s School. The longer I’m in San Juan, the more delicious food I find, you almost can’t go wrong, Pinky’s though is the best of the best!

A solid four stars. My wife got coffee and a breakfast sandwich, I got a smoothie and the fruit pancakes with a side of bacon. She definitely chose more wisely than I, but she was happy to trade me half of her sandwich for one of my pancakes. If all we’d had was sandwiches, then Pinky’s would be getting five stars. It was delicious. The smoothie was also tasty, and the coffee was good. On the other hand, the bacon tasted a little odd… not inedible or anything, but definitely disappointing. The pancakes were very good, although the serving size might have been just slightly ridiculous. I’m no lightweight, but I don’t know if I could ever see myself eating more than half of that entrée. Worse, they don’t use actual maple syrup. When the other food is so good, there’s no reason for the pancakes to be left out like that. So definitely stop by, but stick to the breakfast sandwiches. What Pinky’s does well, they do VERY well.

This breakfast joint was our last stop in San Juan before heading home to Atlanta. I’m so glad I found this place on Unilocal. The turn over was quick so the wait in line was a breeze. Food was delicious and cheap. I believe their prices have not changed since 1979 or something ridiculous like that. 5 of us with entrees and drinks and the tab was under $ 60. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something quick, good, and cheap.

Awesome café con leche, delicious Mallorca sandwiches for breakfast… And papaya and balsamic sauce that makes me want to go for every meal. I love Pinkys! And wish a few things– that there was one in the states, specifically– Indianapolis. I just wish the place was bigger. The ambiance inside is definately shoulder to shoulder.

Holy cow! I seriously loved the breakfast here! Came to San Juan for a 5 day vacation(from Dallas, TX) and stopped by for breakfast one morning. The wait was about 5 mins on a weekend. Perfect for us. The inside of the restaurant had limited seating but there was plenty outside. My BF and I both ordered the mallorca with turkey instead of ham. It was honestly amazing. Period. The bread was so soft and fluffy and the powdered sugar was the right amount of sweet. The eggs and cheese in the mallorca were also very enjoyable. I ordered the iced coffee with brown sugar as well and he ordered the smoothie with all the fruits in it. I can’t remember the name. They bring out the smoothie in the blender and your cup so you can pour it yourself. I’ve never seen that before so it was a neat idea. You get almost 2 cups worth. The iced coffee was stronger than I prefer(since I’m not a huge coffee drinker) but SO delicious. I’ll be dreaming about it from Dallas. Loved the whole dining experience! Thanks Unilocal for helping me find this gem.

We’ve stayed at the Doubletree Hotel in Condado twice in the past two years prior to our Caribbean cruises. Both times, we arrived in San Juan in the late afternoon and just wanted to eat something quick and simple before turning in for the night. Pinky’s was there to answer the call both times. Their sandwiches are really, really good. Reasonable prices and friendly service as well. My only complaint would be that most of the seats are outside, so if it’s a really hot day out and you’re not used to the Puerto Rico weather, you might be a sweaty mess during your meal.

BEWARE!!! TWOEMPLOYEESOFTHISRESTAURANTARESTEALINGCUSTOMERSCREDITCARDINFORMATIONFORTHEFT! I went to Puerto Rico last week and decided to stop in this area as it has so many great reviews… I did not have enough cash on me so I decided to use my credit card(which was new and never used). Today my bank calls me to alert of of fraudulent transactions held at sacks of fifth in San Juan Puerto Rico and they swiped my card 11TIMES!!! These morons also decided to try the first transaction today at Pinkys to see«if it he’s thru»… I reported this to be authorities as this is a federal crime. They had surveillance at this store so it’s just a matter of time. It’s a huge shame this place is employing criminals… Will NEVERGOBACKTOTHISPLACEAND I AMSHARINGTHISINALLSOCIALNETWORK!!!

Great food, great service and a variety of options. The prices are tough to beat and they have out door seating. Just went for breakfast but we would come back for lunch. I had the salmon sandwich and my fiancé had the eggs with goat cheese, mushrooms and basil(drunken pilot). We loved it all.

The sandwiches here are fucking glorious. I wish I could sit in my house on my fat ass and have someone bring these sandwiches to me three to seven times a day. And I only live like 4 blocks away, so you know I’m serious. I would literally burn down an orphanage out of pure happiness if someone brought me a Surfer and Peanut Butter batida right now. Literally.

Nice large menu with local favs like the Mallocra breakfast sandwich along with vegetarian options and«slim» options like egg white omelets and fresh fruit .: which is surprisingly hard to come by here! My husband and sister had the Mallocra and it was Huge and could have easily been split and was only $ 6. I was pleased with the price point in comparison to other places we ate while on vacation and the food was good. Service was good. Very small cramped space but got a nice seat outside. Parking = nightmare.

Food: — Drunken Pilot: 3 egg whites, spinach, tomatoes, and goat cheese with a side of buttered toast. I couldn’t remember what goat cheese tasted like so I asked for feta instead. The omelet was good. It tasted like something I could whip up at home, though. 3.5÷4 — Mallorca Breakfast Sandwich: 3 eggs, ham, and mozzarella in a sweet, soft bread sprinkled with confection sugar. This was delicious! It was sweet and savory! 4⁄5 Service: We came here on a Sunday morning and there was a line out the door. We waited for about 20 – 25 minutes before getting seated. Our server was nice and friendly. 4⁄5 Final thoughts: I would come back here. I hear their smoothies are really good. Food and a smoothie would have been too filling for me.
