This is a casual food option for guests staying here. Good option to sit, relax, grab a drink before or after your last destination. Not recommended for people not staying at the ritz. There are nicer dinning options available inside this hotel. This place is literally located in the lobby by the entrance, bar style seats. You could also dine outside and ask the waiter to assist you, which I prefer, for a bit more privacy and less noise. Food is not bad, just not memorable.

What a great little bar and lounge! The food is only okay there, but I discovered the fish tacos which were sooo amazing(thus the 4th star). The service is good and pretty fast I would say.

We enjoyed the the Lobby Lounge. Didn’t matter what time of the evening we showed up, we were always able to get a great table. Service was friendly and we always had more than one server spot by our table to offer service. Favorite dishes included pulled pork flat bread and empandas. We loved the free snack tray, which included olives, nut snacks and plantain chips. A big miss was the wings. Reminded us of wings pulled from the freezer. Another plus, they had live music on Valentine’s Day and passed out roses to the ladies.

From the point of view of a teen, this place is cool for finger food and virgin drinks lol!

Good food, our servers name was Cely, my main complaint was how long it took to get our food. We ordered the algarete roll(sushi) and it took 50 minutes to get it. We thought we would wait to order more food and see how the first thing was, but then as we got more inpatient, we ordered shrimp tacos because we figured if the sushi was any indication, it was gonna be a while. Well it’s been 45 minutes since we ordered those now and it’s still not here. It’s not busy so there’s no reason for it to take this long, if you’re at the ritz skip the lobby lounge and proceed to BLT, ask for Peter and enjoy your food. Update: our shrimp tacos came out, they were tasty, at least Cely was perceptive of our frustration. They ended up comping our meal.

the ambiance on a Thursday evening is barely alive and the bartender used mojito mix for their ‘signature’ mojito. Is it too much to ask for fresh at $ 14 per mojito? The drink itself was overly sour and a bit canned tasting(fancy that). Disappointing at best.

Big ceilings and fancy seating area with acceptable drinks. There’s a bar and waitress service. Saturday night they had a older couple doing salsa music but campy, kinda like the Puerto Rican version of the Dresden Room scene from Swingers. Wait staff show a genuine effort. It’s a good place to sit if you are waiting for something else. Probably don’t want to make an evening out of it.

The Lobby Lounge, as it is so ingeniously called, is the main bar in the Ritz. Cocktails are overpriced and somewhat gimmicky. However, there are a couple decent specials listed in the menu. One has to do with discounted Medella Light during a certain hour(final cost is still overpriced, if you ask me). The other is buy one get one Bacardi cocktails from 5−6pm. We took advantage of this one evening and the pours were heavy and seemed to get heavier as we powered through the hour. The Lobby Lounge isn’t bad for a nightcap but it’s not a destination.
