Although it was located inside of our hotel, it was my first and last visit. Myself and another guest, had just walked into the lobby. We’d recently went and got some items from the local CVS. Because they had a live band playing we were drawn in. We thought, why not stop for drinks and a light bite? We proceeded to ask the first waitress we saw about the late night menu. To which she looked us, looked us up and down, looked at our bags and then said something about her English not being no so good. Now, there’s one thing I’ve encountered in PR and it’s the use of «my English is no good» just to not wait on people and it was done here. I don’t know if it was our casual attire or if it was our whopping 2 bags between us but, the initial server was so unprofessional and rude. The funny thing is she nearly broke her neck to assist a table that sat right beside us and what do you know, one of the occupants was eating dry cereal out of a box that was in a cvs bag. And wouldn’t you guess it, her English was fine! After a few moments we were greeted by a floor manager and was assigned another waitress. I appreciated the change but, the mood was shot. I elected to order some wings to go. Our new server took my order and came back shortly with my food. I will say the second server was awesomely friendly and on par with the service I was getting at the Marriott during my visit. Maybe I should’ve given them another chance during my 5 days stay but, when you’re turned off… you’re turned off.

This is the bar inside the Marriott… Standard bar but really heats up on be weekends when the locals show up to party. Kind of crazy given its a hotel bar. 2 for 1 specials weekdays from 6−8pm.

Romantic and Modern ambiance with attentive service. I had the mango mojito and it was deliciously made. You can taste all the fresh ingredients and I savored every last bit. I also ordered the seated ago tuna with plantains and seaweed salad; it was pure heaven in my mouth. The wasabi mayo sauce that accompanied was absolutely fabulous. A little on the pricey side but well worth it.

Red Coral Lounge is one of the go to stops if you are partying on Ashford Ave in Condado… and if by chance you are staying at the Marriott its just a great added bonus. Red coral lounge is lively happening lounge/bar /dance club that sits at the reception area of The San Juan Marriott. Its a place not only the tourists get to get a drink and enjoy some music but also is a local spot where locals come out to enjoy on the weekends. Being a guest at this Marriott many times you tend to forget what a high it gives you to walk into a lobby and hear the beats of local Salsa music pounding against your chest. definitely gets your spirits up. Drinks are pricey as you would expect at a hotel bar but make sure to find out what the seasonal specials are thats if you are not there for Happy Hour. Staff is friendly and helpful in getting you that perfect drink. Come here from Wednesday to Saturday for live music, however, the beats continue on the off days just not from a live band.

Good on weekends specially cause it’s here at the hotel I’m staying at. A great Salsa band played & a place for real salsa dancers. Don’t know how the DJ is but with a few drinks. It’s always a great time.

This is the bar/lounge inside of the Marriot San Juan Resort. Nice vibe and the food menu at this place was some of the better food we had at the hotel. Great appetizers and good drinks.
