We always love this location of Ruth Chris. We went on 02÷14÷16 and service(Javier and Steven Alexander) and food were exceptional as always. We went again tonight(02÷20÷16) and Fernando provided great service, but his assistants did not provide the usual service… slow to get water, slow to clear table, didn’t refill waters, etc. The food was great and Fernando was great, but not up to usual standards that we always receive(there seemed to be lots of guys just hanging out instead of helping the waiters)…

We were sat next to a crying baby on one side of the restaurant where they don’t have linen table cloths. I ran out of tea 3 times. Completely out. The steaks took about an hour to get to the table as they«had a party» but the place looked empty. The steak was amazing but I have never been to a 5 star steak house where they don’t serve your sides on your plate when they bring them to the table. It took the waiter 15 mins to bring the check once we asked for it. Def would NOT recommend this place based on the service. Waiters are nice but if I wanted the chili’s experience I would not have eaten at Ruth’s chris.

I was treated to this restaurant on the night before flying out of PR. I don’t understand how this restaurant is still in business. Its severely over priced. The food is average to disgusting. They don’t seem to understand flavor and didn’t seem to care that I didn’t eat my meal(because it was disgusting). Typically places like this are compulsively trying to please their guests. I didn’t complain. I am not the type to. I just sat there and waited until they brought the check so that I could make a break and get something to eat some place else. A quick note to the guys out there trying to impress a girl: places like this are just a waste of money. If the food was delicious, then I would understand. But it just seems like this place exists to show off how much you can pay for some food that is just not enjoyable on any culinary level. Even the mash potatoes had absolutely NOFLAVOR. I don’t understand how this place is still in business. The only thing I enjoyed, slightly, was the severly overpriced red table wine as I waited for the opportunity to leave this place and get anything else.

Delicious!!! The only thing I will do different next time is request my meal not be on the 500 degree plate. The plate only kelp the bottom pert of the meat warm and continued cooking it. After 15 min the meat tasted like what is left over in a skillet after cooking a hamburger. Also only the very bottom part of the meat on the plate is still warm the top part is cold.

This place is iconic! You want quality, taste, and service… This is the place! The fact that all the restaurants have the same Protocol… Is amazing. In other words… No mater which city, state, your stake will taste the same!!! Consistency is my favorite quality on a restaurant!

It was me and my Wifes Anniversary so ew came here to eat. we been to a ruth chris steakhouse in Washington DC and this was CLOSE to our hotel so we said lets go here and eat. YUMM the food was awesome! as usual had the prime rib and she had some other steak. we had a server named Gabriel he was VERY nice. he broke everything down and explained everything he was awesome! the staff was super awesome and nice!

The husband and I decided that we didnt want to take a cab out the night before we left and just wanted to eat where ever we were staying so we thought why not pay a butt load of money and go to Ruth’s Chris Steak House. This place is actually awesome for people watching, I was very entertained. It is super touristy(obviously) so you see people dressed super casual and it looks like they just picked up a steak knife for the first time. Any ways, I was about to get side tracked and tell everyone a story but lets just get to service and food. Service is pretty bad I mean they don’t really care. I think it took a good 20 – 30 minutes to actually get our waitress to ask for our order. I came into this place knowing that service might be slow based on prior reviews so I wasnt super surprised. My husband got a steak and I got the garlic crusted halibut and we got a side of mashed potatoes and spinach. The food was good, I feel as though I have had better for what the price was but it was a solid meal. My husband had his steak cooked medium, and it was cooked medium. I only mention that bc of the previous reviews saying they over cook their steaks, his wasnt over cooked, and i only know this because I order my stuff medium rare and can’t stand dry meat and his was on point. Also, my fish was cooked perfectly, it wasnt dry at all. The mashed potatoes were just OK… i have definitely had better, to me they had no flavor but my husband claims they were awesome so maybe my taste buds were on strike. Over all this place was decent. It’s a fancy chain steak house, it is what it is. If the service stepped up it’s game I think I would give it a 3.5 teetering on a 4.

The service here is fantastic! You really feel like you’re being waited on hand and foot. The oysters were wonderful. Everything else we ordered(filet mignon, New York strip, mushrooms, spinach au gratin) was decent, at best, especially considering the price. Since you’ve flown all the way out to PR, do yourself a favor and get in a cab and go to one of the great Argentinian steak houses available to cure your thirst for cow. After such a mediocre experience at Ruth’s Chris, we went to Gauchos Parrillada Argentina on Avenida Roosevelt in Hato Rey the next night and had a much better feast of incredibly good churrasco for less than half the price.

Being it was our last day at the Intercontinental and since I was red to celebrate the marvelous time we had… I decided to take my Bae to Ruth Chris to end the vacation with a bang and that it was. She ordered the spicy shrimp which she said was delicious and I had one of the house specials. The food was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I’m in love with upscale restaurants that everyone isn’t willing to spend on so again I enjoyed every minute we spent dinning here. It’s smaller than the one in New York but the service was exceptional as one would expect. Treat yourself if your already having a blast. It’s the icing on the cake.

What more can you say about the tried and true favorite. I always get the stuffed chicken. Yeah I know, who goes to a steak house and gets chicken. My only complaint is since we were on vacation I didnt think that they had a Prix fix menu like more Ruth Chris’s have. The waiter did not make us aware of this. Next time I know to ask.

This review is for the Happy Hour. Prices for the drink and food specials offered are fantastic. The drinks are very very well poured. Not watered down at all. Careful with the Manhattans. Whoa! High octane… Food has changed a little. Sad to see the Ahi Tuna app go up in price. But understandable. Steak sandwich is a definite. You know you’re getting high quality beef and cooked exactly to your liking. Indulge and pay the extra $ 8 – 9 bucks for dessert. I always get crème brûlée and have no complaints! Staff is very friendly and efficient. Bartenders know their craft. Been coming here on and off for a couple of years now. It’s an airline crew favorite!

This was the best meal that I ever had at a Ruth’s Chris… and I was not alone with this opinion. The 4 of us decided to get the planned menu. Once you look at the numbers, it was an amazing value. I typically get the lobster bisque at RC’s, but decided to go for the gumbo… and I’m glad I did. It was delicious. 3 of us got the salmon with scallop entrée and different side dishes that we shared. It was an easy decision to go with the salmon once our wonderful waiter, Fernando, said without hesitation… it is amazing.(Aside from being an outstanding waiter with a warm personality… I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a server/bartender with an passionate opinion. Well done by both you and your assistant.). This was possibly the best salmon dish I ever ate. For desert, 2 of us upgraded to the full menu for only $ 3. A nice bonus to an already great deal. We ordered the chocolate explosion and the bread pudding. Both were big enough to share and equally good. All around… a great experience. Thank to Fernando, his assistant and the chefs. Thank you.

This was my very first experience at a Ruth’s Chris and it was amazing. We ordered the Ruth Special which comes with your choice of a salad(steakhouse salad, or ceaser) one entrée and desert. The filet was SO juicy and tender and cooked perfectly how i ordered it. The plates sizzle, so just be careful. We were offered an upgrade to a bigger desert for $ 3, and it was an amazing chocolate molten cake. I would highly recommend this restaurant, very nice staff and great service.

Out celebrating our 32nd anniversary we couldn’t have had a better night. The staff here are top notch very warm and friendly. The food was amazing, lamb chops heavenly, filet minion out of this world. Desert OMG! Bread pudding in whiskey sauce ! Forget About it! ! 5 star all the way.
