Suliman Bar and Meze Lounge

Suliman bar and lounge is no longer open and has been replaced by a new restaurant named Ali Baba. If you’re planning on coming here for hookah, keep in mind that they now only have 1 hookah in the whole restaurant.

We stumbled on this place walking around after dinner and stopped for drinks. My husband had an amazing mojito that I’m still coveting, which was even more amazing considering it’s a Turkish place! Our bartender Omar was really nice and very friendly despite the fact that we showed up right before closing time. I can’t speak to the food, but I’m sure if it’s as good as the drinks that it’s great!

We have been coming to Puerto Rico for a few years now. Both my husband and I love to smoke hookah every now and then and we always felt that’s what was missing here in El Condado. Suliman just opened about 6 months ago. We stopped by twice in our 5 day stay. Great ambiance, I loved the décor, it’s like entering a Moroccan bazar. Drinks are what’s expected price wise. We come from New York so no difference there. We tried both strawberry and banana shisha. Tasty and smooth both days, $ 25 again that sounds average to us. Good vibe. Cool bartender to talk to, even though we stayed past closing time we never felt pressured to leave.

Trendy hookah bar in the Condado area is the first impression this place gave me. I’m not an expert in shishas but I like to occasionally smoke with friends. I did go with a friend who was very experienced with hookahs and she was our guide. Suliman’s is very nicely decorated and they offer small dishes and nice drinks. I tried the sangria which was really nice but could’ve used a little more ice. They offer indoor and outdoor tables for you to enjoy. I can’t remember what flavor of shisha we ordered, mixed fruit I think, but it was really nice. We did have to ask the to fix/​replace the coal a couple of times. I prefer places that constantly go around making sure the coal is good. This isn’t the best hookah bar I’ve visited but it has a nice ambiance. Bottom line: if I’m paying $ 25 for a hookah I would expect a little more service.

This place is a must go to! Staff is super knowledgable and more than accommodating. Had so much fun here. The place had an amazing atmosphere and the cocktails were excellent. Great hookah! Can’t recommend enough.

This place is magical !!! probably they pull at spell on me cause I love it !! drinks are exquisite and the service is excellent … Music and hookah goes perfect with the decorations… Is a place you must visit and you won’t regret it.

This place is classy the people are on point with customer service and care. A must for any tourist or local people to come. The hookaa and drinks are a great hit! Flavorful and tasty.

I love, love, love this hidden gem! The decorations and set up is absolutely immaculate and so dreamy! They put so much detail and attention into the entire experience here. The drinks are delicious, the hookahs are smooth, and the pricing is just right! The hookahs themselves are made in Turkey and smoke perfectly. The seating and atmosphere is extremely cozy yet chic. To top it off, the service is fantastic. I highly doubt there’s any place like this in Puerto Rico!

Okay where do I start. My first point is that the hookah was 25 dollars for one flavor which is ridicolus. Here in NY Steinway which is hookah heaven hookah is 8 – 12 dollars. I don’t care if your in a tourist attraction Main Street. Overpriced. I wanted to give you 3 and a half stars but it only allows full stars. The hookah was good and cloudy but next time leave the tongs so I can move the coals myself. Also hookah and tea goes hand in hand. Your the only hookah place here on ashford Ave so make your place authentic. You guys must had tea herbal tea with your hookahs. You should have some better music maybe Arab music or middle eastern music or anything better than elevator music. I don’t like to write bad reviews but I want you the owner of this place to learn and fix it to be better. Again the hookah itself was great I enjoyed it very much. The hookah part I would give 5 stars but everything else needs worked on. I would love to change my rating next time if I see a difference. Also the last thing which made me so frustrated I paid my bill in cash, keep in mind there were only 3 other customers here,… It took you 20 dam minutes to return my change. You pissed me off there. And your lucky I didn’t give you 1 star cause you deserve 1 star for your service which Was horrible. How dare you make me wait 20 minutes for my change and I see behind me inside yacking away to other people. I was furious. Your lucky I didn’t get up and yell at you. I think the owner nabil when you did return my change you had the nerve to say sorry for the wait. Bro you better check your self next time. I’m gonna return next time and I hope you change some things here. Here in NY, hookah bars don’t do that and they actually care. !!

They have great drinks with a twist to traditional favorites and organic shisha. Beautiful hookah bar. The service was on point.

I especially love it here because they use nicotine– and tar-​free «tobacco» (shisha).

Thank you for your awesome service. My friend and I we’re very excited to come here and we’re even more excited to come back. The ambiance is very chill, calm and relaxing. The waiters are very welcoming amd accommodating. I would definitely come back.
