I had an early dinner here, good but I think the b team was in the kitchen. Pizza was under cooked, crust needed salt/seasoning. It lacked flavor. Certainly an 8 or 9 in the US for pizza but here no 6 to 7

I absolutely hate visiting a restaurant more than once on a trip, but I had to make an exception for this amazing restaurant. By far probably the two best meals I have ever had. Great little outdoor seating area outside the tourist bustle. They had some type of appetizer that was small fried mini pizzas with sauce… OMG. Best thing I have ever put in my mouth.

Very very good! Had a delightful meal with pasta and mussels and house red wine. Vodka penne was a hit with the kids.

Yum! We were seated outside between two local groups. That was our first good sign. What caught our eye was the steaming plate of pasta and seafood goodness. I should preface that my husband, son and I like a lot of flavor in my food but my daughter does not and this place suited all of our needs. I ordered the spaghetti with scoglio and it totally hit the spot. The red sauce was delicious and came with a heathy portion of mussels, clams and shrimp and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes. We also ordered the spaghetti with clams and pizza diavola and they were good too but my husband kept nibbling from my sauce so I think my dish was the winner of our 3. Daughter ordered the vodka penne dish. Also very good, not your American version of vodka sauce but mild and she enjoyed it. Reasonably priced for being steps away from Piazza Navona. Deficit recommend the Spaghetti Scoglio!

Superb food. Have been here on a few trips to Rome and will always be sure to stop in when here. Great food and service and reasonably priced wine list

The 4 and 5 star reviews are baffling. Easily the worst meal I’ve had in Italy. Ordered lasagne and the it came out like a bad stew. The noodles were nothing but mush, the brown(?!?) sauce almost flavorless. The host smelled like a hobo. Service was fine. Gets 2 stars because the wine is cheap and the waiter pulled the lasagne from the bill without being asked. Pick any random restaurant in Navona and you’ll be better off.

Decided to go here to get something away from the piazza. Had a caprese salad, cacio e pepe, carbonara and a saltimbocca. All were excellent. Reasonable prices and would do it again!

Pizza arrabiata was good. Bad wine. Poorly configured outdoor tables requires disruption of people to let others in and out of inside tables. Touristy and relatively slow service.

Going back to my wonderful trip in italia!!! Had my first dinner here and it was delicious! You were able to taste the different ingredients. The food was unforgettable! So fresh and tasty! Pasta was on the spot and the pizza. Best i habe ever had! Delicious wines to go with your dinner. I wish i were back there now…

This place is really Italian, the staff was friendly. We had a pizza diavola and patate al forno and a Merlot house wine. As a dessert we had a tiramisu. The tiramisu was amazing and the pizza is one of the best I’ve eaten while I was in Rome. By far it didn’t match the ones I’ve eaten while in Naples. However it’s very hard to come by places that serve a high quality pizza like the ones in Naples. The price-quality is really good if you’re looking for a Italian dinner in Rome. At the end of the night we were given a limoncello on the house which was really nice. The staff is friendly and the service is quite fast. The majority of the people that were eating in the restaurant were Italian and also the waiters didn’t speak English very well. Which didn’t matter that much for us. I’d recommend this place for a nice pizza and some dessert.

I was excited upon arrival and disappointed as I left. Probably the least impressive pizza I’ve had in Italy, besides the one I made at a pizza making class. Now that was bad pizza. The problem here is that they have too much excess flour on their crust. The penne alla vodka was definitely al dente, and I imagine some Italians would even consider it undercooked. Sauce was tasty though. The osso buco was next, and was more frozen peas than anything else. We ended with a satisfactory tiramisu, but it was nothing to rave about. Add some wine and it was another 50 euro dinner for two in Italy that failed to impress our ignorant American palates.

Fantastic Italian cuisine. We had Pasta, Pizza and Lasagne, everything was just delicious. Fairly cheap, nice staff. I can highly recommend Navona Notte!

I had my eyes on Navona Notte since we first arrived in Rome and I was Unilocaling restaurants near our hotel. We ate her on our last night in Rome and it was amazing. There was were only to groups when we arrived and we were quickly seated. I had the spaghetti with pesto and the husband had the lasagna. Being a first timer, I asked for 2 orders of bruschetta, assuming they would be small. To my American surprise they were huge and oh so delicious. Add to all this, a bottle of wine and I was a happy girl. The service was great and they even gave us a complimentary limoncello as a digestif. Unilocal gets it right again!

This was the best restaurant we went to in Rome and unfortunately, we saved the best for last. Otherwise, we would have eaten here numerous times and tried different items. The zucchini appetizer was good but needed salt and/or a sauce to dip. Yes, I know I sound super American with my need to dip. :-) I ordered the quattro formaggi gnocchi with a meatball. I received the gnocchi and a meat sauce on the side. The sauces were really good regarding freshness and consistency but needed a bit of salt. The gnocchi was a bit too mushy but still good. Hubby had a magherita pizza and thought it was the best of the three pizzas he had in Rome. Admittedly, he said he has had more flavorful pizzas outside of Rome but really enjoyed the crust. The house red wine was wonderful and the service was great. Be advised that the place is small and gets very busy. Like most other places in Europe, note that you will likely be sitting very close to other restaurant patrons(i.e. two small tables for two set 1 inch apart). For what it’s worth, we were surrounded by fellow Americans. I know that this is a factor for some who hope to eat with locals. We would definitely go back here and try something new.

I really enjoyed this spot! Wonderful Pizza and Pasta served very fresh along with friendly service. I think what adds to it is that it is a little away from the tourist traps outside of Piazza Navona. Definitely worth a try if you are in that area.

THEBESTPIZZAYOUWILLHAVEINYOURLIFE! I visited this place through recommendation of Unilocal and it was one of the best experience I had in Rome. Piazza was incredible. It was crispy and soft at the same time. It is open all day so you can visit whenever. You have to go or you will regret.

Came by for lunch, the place is very cute. The service was so-so, but not horrible. The pizzas were very good, some of the best we had in our time in Italy. My wife and I each got one. I had water thrown all over me from the apartments above, which was a bit strange, but I dried off quickly..

Came here with 3 friends on a Friday night. There was no wait, and we were seated right away. As college students visiting italy from NYC, we loved the food. Two friends had pizza and two friends had penne alla vodka. Everything was delicious and only around 8 euros. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the service is very disorganized. I understand that in Italy, waiters are just supposed to take your order and deliver the food, but our waiter did not take our order for awhile, kept forgetting to give us the bill, and told us he would give us the wifi password but never returned. Overall, it’s a great place to go for food, but the service can definitely be improved.

WOW!

Spaghetti all’Amatriciana

A ‘notte’ Piazza Navona… A recommander !

viva Italia !
