We have been in Italy for a month and tonight’s dinner was the best by fare. We had Risotto with shrimp sauce, fettuccine with truffles, Secondo Serafine(beef fillet with buffalo mozzarella and a wonderful cream sauce) pizza Pachino, savory claims and muscles and buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes… the food was amazing… No surprises or disappointments … I would love to go there again however we are heading back to the USA tomorrow… don’t pass this place up it is a winner…

This restaurant is situated in a busy area with other restaurants close by. Very lively place and you get many of the street sellers coming by trying to sell you things. All the food we ordered was very good except the pasta was very salty. When we told the server he immediately went back to the kitchen and confirmed we were right. Apparently the cook was putting way too much salt in the water. He then offered free desserts and coffee for all 6 of us which was great. If you like a more lively atmosphere and street music this is a great place to come to.

Horrendously over salted food and poor service. Not worth it when there are a dozen other restaurants within a block of here.

That place surprised me!!! While looking for breakfast at 12pm we decided it might makes more sense to do lunch… Serafini offers a great lunch deal and with only 28quit including coffee and tip we had a tasteful experience. I really suggest to try the bruschetta — man it was juicy, full of flavour… wouldn’t stop dipping bread into the left over juice on the plate until it was all dry… For main I had lasagna — easy dish, but very very good! Top feedback for service also, these guys there are quick and charming ;)

Every dish was deliziosa! The service was great and the outdoor seating made the atmosphere very lively & romantic in the evening with local musicians playing music around the corner. A definite must try when in Roma!

I had Da Francesco on my list of places to eat in Rome, which is highly rated and around the corner from this place. But their kitchen closes at 3(and they were rather snooty about it) and I was hungry as hell and determined to have a sit down meal(as opposed to walking around with pizza), so I took a chance on this spot and aren’t I glad I did! It was pouring down rain and this little lane this place is in is so picturesque. The old buildings are draped in grape leaves, so pretty. The waiter was super nice and attentive. I had a seafood starter platter with vongole(baby clams) and mussels, and then a seafood, tomato based pasta with white wine. SOGOOD! Meaty, plentiful seafood, al dente pasta, good wine, good service = 5 stars from me. Bellissimo!

Nice lunch. Serafini is a little off the beaten path of Navona(albeit only 3 minutes walking distance). But even this is enough to get you out of the throng. The pizza crust was exceptional really. And the Carbonara was very good — not too salty as it often is from the ham. Very good value — 2 lunches and beers: 28 Euro.

Fried artichoke and fetuccini bolognese(spicy) is sooooo good! Seriously the best pasta I have ever had in my life!!! And let me tell you I eat a LOT and at a lot of different places. It’s a must-go at St. Marks. =)
