Great plates, I had a meat and cheese plate, a few beers. English was a bit of a strain for the owners but we made it through. Google translate helped a lot. They are super helpful and the place is spotless clean. Great for an afternoon break, lot of choices in beer and food, from plates, apps and very large sandwiches. I’ll be back.

You need to check this place out! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and a huge selection of beers to choose from. The owner and his son are two of the nicest people and really want to make sure you have a great meal. My chicken sandwich was heavenly. The bread was nice and crunchy and the chicken and other fix ins were filled with flavor. Definitely will be coming back here before I leave Rome.

The best ham and cheese I have ever tasted! A totally new level for sandwiches. A must visit if you are in Rome. Owner and son amazing people and great service, make you feel welcomed even if you only know the basic Italian. We are so coming back to the Rome and hope they continue to be here so we can come back! They have a good variety on beers and good wine too.

Short Story: — Super friendly staff(Father and Son team makes it feel like you are in their kitchen) –Fair Price, we had 2 Sandwiches, 3 Beers and a Glass of Wine for about € 30 –Not in touristy alley of restaurants, which we liked that. Not much seating though. –Did I mention the staff was nice, and helpful in selecting what craft beer you would like. –Also they have English menus Long Story: What a find! This little Craft Beer and Sandwich shop is a little a away from all the typical tourist restaurants(Which I liked, makes you feel a little like a local) but nothing google maps can’t handle to get you there. The sandwiches and food are all handled with care and dedication. I watched the chef make my Chicken Sandwich(Highly Recommend, with Ciabatta Romana Bread) for at least 5 minutes and kept wondering is he still working on mine?! And watched as he kept adding toppings, awesome! They also had a large selection of craft beer and the staff is definitely willing to help you select something. Overall great experience. Will go back, next time in Rome

If you’re looking for a unique variety of local craft beer, this is a must stop when you’re in Rome. It’s a small place that’s filled with a big variety of beer, wine, and casual dining options. We went with a meat and cheese plate and it was plenty of food for the two of us. The staff provided great suggestions when we wanted to try some local brews.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat and was drawn in by the menu outside. For 5 euros + my beer I had one of my best meals in Rome! The staff was incredibly kind and engaging throughout the experience I will be sure to go back when I come back to Rome. I had a great vegetarian panino with delicious zucchini and mushrooms

L’endroit que j’ai préféré à Rome. Simple.

TL;DNR: Awesome restaurant for good price(almost everything under 10 €). Sweet servers who want to get to know you and your trip(and wiling to listen to you try Italian). English menu and takeout available. Long version: A bit away from the tourists hot spots, this was a great cozy restaurant for lunch. The sandwiches are all handcrafted with a lot of care(everything is freshly sliced from meats to cheeses), and you honestly can’t go wrong with anything. We tried roast beef(great), Gorgonzola(very fresh mozzarella), and tuna(so rich). The servers helped us choose a beer and dessert(homemade apricot pie). They were so nice and so proud of their food(which they should be)! Definitely go – puts you in a great spot to go to the Parthenon or plaza afterwards.

I ate a lot of panini while studying abroad. A lot. A panino in Italian means just«sandwich,» not necessarily the grilled panini we think of in the US. Out of all the sandwiches I ate abroad, the sandwich I ate here was by far the best. Oh my gosh. It was so good. The bread here is incredibly fresh, they construct everything to order, and the beer selection is a nice touch. For 6 euro I got the Parmigiano – home made grilled eggplants, fresh mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano’ with a little extra chili sauce for added kick, all on a crust baguette. He grilled it for me and the overall effect was so delicious and filling and I want one right now.

Amazing little spot. We asked for some beer recommendations because we wanted to try something new and we got a few Italian beers that were quite amazing. A bitter and a red. Our next round was not a disappointment either and it was all paired with a plate of bread/meats/cheeses that were quite delectable. Stop on by if you have a chance.

Great little blink and you’ll miss it off the Piazza Navona. Fresh meats/cheeses/fish… Quickly made sandwiches and a very good selection of wines and beers. Great for an afternoon snack.

We’ve only been in Rome for less than 24 hours, and we’ve already been here twice! The food and beer selection is incredible, but the real gem here is the customer service! They are warm and welcoming to curious tourists like us. A great place for a craft beer, a delicious panini, and a warm smile!

The sandwiches and dessert here were great! What made our experience absolutely awesome was the guy serving us though. He was so fun, energetic and very entertaining during our dinner. He spotted me taking a picture of their huge beer selection and quickly asked me to pose with him and some prosciutto for a photo op. We each ordered a panini and got some beer and wine. Like other reviewers mentioned, there isn’t a beer list so you describe what you want and they will narrow down your choices or you can pick one off the huge wall of beer. The sandwiches were large and quite filling and when he heard it was our honeymoon our server brought us each a piece of the most delicious cheesecake I’ve ever had! Not too sweet, just perfect on a delicious graham cracker crust. Our 2 big sandwiches, beer and wine came to 23 euros and the desserts were on the house. I’m sad it was our last day in Rome or we definitely would have eaten there again!

Delicious panino… so much better and fresher than from the stands and shops on every corner. Everything was so fresh; meats and cheese sliced for each sandwich. Huge selection of beer. The guy working there was super nice. Also the place is adorable!

Paninis are really easy to find in Rome, they’re all over the place! But sometimes they are not made with the best quality ingredients or they were made hours ago so by the time you bite into them they are either soggy or so hard you could hang your new poster collection on your wall without need of a hammer. This place has none of the typical panini nonsense I just told you about! They make them fresh to order and with top quality ingredients. I chose the bufala from their menu, which had a tasty mixture of mozzarella, roasted eggplant and prosciutto. Simple but hit the spot beautifully. They also carry a variety of beers, they don’t have a beer menu per se but if you tell them what type of beer you would like regarding taste, strength etc they will hand you what comes closer to your tastes, so who knows you could even discover your next favorite beer. The place is tiny so plan accordingly, meaning don’t go with your group of 15 friends because you won’t fit! Otherwise great little place!

Awesome small sandwich shop! Our friends Jorge and Ivette(neighbors in our Redondo Beach home city) recommended this place. We had a veggie panini and one with Tuscan salami — wow loved it and the glasses of vino bianchi made it even better. This hard to find but wonderful place is Da Bomb. In the neighborhood behind the pantheon.

Stopped in for a bite had a meat platter with cheese and red wine(although they specialise in hand crafted beers, 150 varieties) absolutely in heaven, a must for a bite. Mainly do sandwiches so we will back.

My favorite place for panini. Not quite the sit-down place, but there’s a bar and a couple small tables inside if you’re not accustomed to the fast-paced walk-while-you-eat Italian trend(yet they’re so slow in everything else). The menu is there for recommendations; they usually let you make your own assorted baguette sandwich. They have several kinds of bread and an amazing variety of prosciutto. Forget the mayo or mustard, ask for the basil or truffle crème. The consistency of the service depends on the mood of the staff, the owner is usually there and is very hospitable. He gave me and my partner some tasty bites of «hors d’oeuvres,» pardon my French! He also gave his suggestions from the large craft beer selection that covers an entire wall. The space is very modern and has fun hanging lamps made from salvaged beer bottles. The bar made of glass and a large prosciutto slicer is placed behind the counter so you can watch how your panini are prepared. Definitely a fun place to take visitors and go myself for a quick bite before school.
