Marvelously cozy atmosphere. My sister and I stumbled upon this cute restaurant and fell in love with its excellent quality and honestly priced Italian and Lingurian cuisine. Best was its tiramisu, even better than Pompi and Giolitti in Rome in my opinion. At this restaurant, we ordered and enjoyed: La farinata con pesto, testaroli(boiled), sciacchetrá sweet wine, and of course amazing tiramisu. Their tiramisu offers rich creamy texture and balanced liquor flavor which I had not found in Rome and Florence. This made our visit to portonevere even more memorable!

Can’t really recommend this based on our experience in on a Saturday night in September ’15. The place was very crowded and the service was impossible to attain. The food was nothing special. Perhaps they were having a bad night.

I stayed in Portovenere for 5 days and ate here several times because it was SO good! The service was also incredible and the staff recognized us every time we came in. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through PV. Try the pizza with cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Yum!!!
