Best pesto ever found. Cannot find any source yo order it. They own the best secrecy for making pesto. Add a touch of heavy cream and pour over artichoke ravioli. Works great on toasted crunchy bread topped with pieces of tomatoes.

Why, oh why didn’t I buy the largest jar to take home!!! I am craving this pesto and have tried all the brands in Safeway since arriving home from PortoVenere. They are terrible compared to this amazing pesto. It’s the best pesto I’ve ever had. We only came home with the small jar. Don’t make the same mistake buy the large jar and save room in the checked luggage. This pesto is too die for. I want to order it online. I am forever spoiled and my Gnocchi will never be the same.

Best Pesto in the WORLD! I am still dreaming about this stuff 2 years later! Anyone have any luck finding it online? They have a website, but no way to order.

Best pesto ever! Met the owners and sampled and fell in love. Brought a bottle home. Hoping I can get more online!

Absolutely life changing pesto. These guys(who seem touristy but aren’t) make the best Pesto I have ever had in my entire life, hands down. It is worth it to grab a bottle, and spread it on some foccacia(as shown in photo). Then devour while basking in the beautiful sun at the Gulf Of Poets. It’s a very small store dedicated to Pesto(as the name), but their prices are good and so is the recipe. This region is known for pesto, and this specific location delivers on the regionale style. They also have a bunch of different baked/fried foccacias in addition to being a pesto shop. The one we had was baked with italian olives(which taste like very mild kalmatas). If you are in the Portovenere, this place is a must visit location.
