Booked a table for my wife and I here on the recommendation of one good Unilocal review(thank you Jan W) and had a wonderful meal. It is difficult to find good restaurant information in Portovenere, several recommended places were quite overcrowded and the service really suffered – the string of fish restaurants along the harbor did not appeal. Tre Torri is set back from the waterfront but overlooking the Piazza. We were greeted by a friendly gentlemen with a small glass of proseco – that was a good start. We sat outside just in front of windows. The space was nicely lit with the right atmosphere for relaxing evening. The waiter was super helpful. All the food was delicious and nicely prepared: smoked tuna, trofi pasta with a spicy tomato sauce, a grilled branzino artfully filleted and served. All in all a great dinner. Highly recommend!

Came recommended by our host, Daniella, and it did not disappoint. We are staying in Monterosso, and wanted a light adventure after our hike the day before, so took a delightful ferry all the way down(1 hr 30 mins) to Portovenere. The town is located on a beautiful harbor surrounded by mountains. Tre Torre is slightly off the beaten track, tucked back in a lovely piazza, not far from where you disembark from the ferry. Our group of four wanted to share a light lunch, so we shared the Smoked Tuna appetizer — paper thin slices of tuna, with tomatoes and other veggies, the Trofie with Pesto, which some in our group declared the best we’d had so far this trip, the grilled swordfish, simply prepared and still moist, and the Spaghetti with Clams — a generous amount of clams, simply prepared and tasty. We sat on the outdoor patio, and had a nice view of the harbor, without the hustle of the main drag along the water.
