Pasta Club

Hong Kong has wonderful food, but sometimes I have trouble finding good quality «Western» food when I get homesick. I heard of Pasta Club and decided to give it a try expecting to be disappointed, but I definitely wasn’t let down. They offer medium and large bowls of pasta as well as medium and large plus. The medium and large come with a soda, but the plus options have dessert as well. The medium is $ 55 and the large is $ 75, and you add $ 10 for the plus. They offer about 8 different types of pasta — including gluten free!- and also 7 – 8 sauces ranging from classic tomato and bolognese to other options including sauces with seafood and chicken. For dessert you have the option of a chocolate muffin, fresh fruit cup, chocolate tart, and a fourth option that I can’t remember. You can change to a different dessert if you pay a little extra. The service was great. The staff were really friendly, and my food was ready very quickly (they have to rinse the pasta and toss it with the sauce).
I chose the medium plus, which I think was perfect. I got fettucine with the pesto sauce and a chocolate tart for dessert. The pasta I got was cooked just right, not too soft or hard, and the size of the portion was just enough to leave me full. I actually had to wait a few minutes before eating my dessert. The sauce was also very good. I’m a big fan of pesto sauce, and this one tasted great. The chocolate tart was also really nice. It wasn’t overly sweet or chocolatey, and it was light and airy.
Overall, I had a great experience with Pasta Club, and I will be returning!

It opened last month but the price and quality of the pastas have attracted a numerous amount of regular customers. The staffs are friendly and the owner will always ensure the quality of the products.
Moreover, it is a never seen before concept!
Wish there would open another property in Hong Kong.
