Came here for brunch with a recommendation from a friend. Got the group together and got our crêpe on. Now to be honest even if the food was crap, I would have loved this place. Mainly because it is seriously nautical themed. Wait staff in striped shirts, little lighthouse salt and pepper shakers and sea landscape are all around the walls. I was in love as soon as I stepped. Yet I wasn’t disappointed by the food. We all ordered savoury crepes to start. No one was disappointed, I loved mine but still had food envy. Luckily we all got to take bits of each other’s. I was full but still wanted to try more so ended up sharing a sweet crêpe as well — DIVINE!

Surprisingly good. For spots with such easy access at the crossroads, always just need to do okay with the food and the queue will come along. They care about food here. Crêpe stays Parisian style for me. Late night crêpe stand, yelling Nutella or ham&cheese, after 6 drinks or more. The cheese is absolutely not the fancy sort but feels heaven. Heavy, fulfilling and above all, tasty. Here they provide way better experience than my above description. We are talking about dinning here. Selected cider with sweet or dry options, served in bowls. Base are gluten free! Toppings categorised from seafood, meat, vegetarian to dessert options. And open flat crêpe and traditional crêpe wrap are at your call. We had two slightly different scallop based open face crêpe, you know, gluten free. Mine is La Marine. Yes, from the sea. The fillings are mainly scallops, mushroom, bacon, kale in cream source. The other one we ordered is also scallop based but more dry and savoury sauce. Would recommend the La Marine. Owner recommend cameralized Apple crêpe. Very homemade. It is delight to wrap up the meal with the dish. Will be back. Would be easier the dine with vegetarian and sweet teeth crew here as well!

This place specialises on crepes: both savoury(galette) and sweet(crêpe) varieties. For starter, we had mussels, which came with chips. I found the mussels so so, the taste was not particularly memorable and the mussels were on the small side. For the galette, we ordered La Piano, which is a delightful combination of smoked salmon, sunny side up egg, spinach and salad. It is both a feast for the eye as well as for the mouth. However, I felt that it was not sufficient for me as a main course. For the sweet crêpe, we ordered one with chocolate, banana and cream. It was both delightful and delicious; very good combination.

If this review were just about the food then I’d give them more stars. Came here on a busy Friday lunch and the wait was about 5 – 10 minutes which isn’t long at all, however the process was slightly confusing and chaotic. When I went in to ask a staff whether my table was ready, he looked at me and walked away. Amazing. His attitude is one to leave you gobsmacked! This is an Asian guy. The French host/possibly owner is much better. Ordered a salmon galette and vanilla ice cream crêpe. Both of which were pretty good. although I was disappointed the galette was hard and not light and crispy, the taste was decent. There was a white sauce that looked like mayonnaise but upon consuming, it was a grain, floury texture without much flavor. Call me an amateur! I do not know my crepes but that was weird. The vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce– SOGOOD

Could this be a little bite of France tucked away on the lowlit street corner in Hong Kong? Maybe. Too bad I’ve never been to France so I wouldn’t know. What I do know is that La Crêperie is a wonderful little shop offering crepes that aren’t too sweet and aren’t too heavy. The owner appears to be super French and is great at working the door. Before we knew it we were pulled in and sitting at a counter, waiting to be served our crêpe dessert following a filling meal we had just down the street. If I lived in HK, I’d definitely come back just to hang and pretend to do work on laptops, as many patrons were already doing. Definitely a good addition to the culinary smorgas that Hong Kong boasts.

I love how the crepes here are not enormous or too heavy. I could never finish most of the crepes I’ve had because I get tired of the flavor after a few bites. However, the ones here are made pretty delicately and doesn’t have an overpowering generous pouring of pesto sauce. But it may also have been because I was sharing the few crepes we ordered. So my suggestion is to share a few crepes, so you can try more than just one because they’re all so yummy! They also serve French cider in a bowl – which was soo cute. Kind of weird at first because it feels like you’re going to be sipping on chowder but instead you get a nice, crisp beverage. Staff are all really nice and patient here. I highly recommend this place for a chill, relaxing environment away from the HK crowds.

Amazing crepes. Their crepes have a very distinct taste due to their flour(buck wheat). Tasted the chicken and mushroom and also a strawberry banana dessert crêpe. Both of them were very good. Highly recommended and definitely going back

It was late and the hotel suggested we try Dim Sum. We were walking and couldn’t find the place but saw the sign for La Creperie. What a find. The service was great and the food was fantastic. After nearly five weeks in. mainland China we were ready for a change. What a treat. Even though it was 10 pm on a Tuesday night the place was still full. We all had different crepes and they were great. The manager was very personable. He welcomed and seated all of the guests. Highly recommend this place.

I’m a huge huge fan of this place and will note tire of it. The crepes and galettes are made perfectly and for those that are gluten free simple ask for both the savour and sweet to be galettes, ie made with buckwheat flour. During the week they have a great set menu that is very well priced. But in terms of the sweet options i highly recommend the Le Delfi. On weekdays and weekdays there can be quite a line so i suggest you get there before the rush. Weekends definitely require some patience but it is worth the wait.

Who would have thought that pancakes with stuff in them could be so good. Well, I’m glad the French did. La Creperie in Sheung Wan(there is also a branch in Wan Chai) is a place of wonderful French simplicity. It is actually a Breton restaurant, but who’s counting(other than Mrs L!). As you would suspect, La Creperie serves crepes and galettes(a sort of fried crêpe), with a huge variety of yummy fillings. There are classic fillings such as emmenthal and ham, goat’s cheese and salted caramel, or just plain lemon and sugar, through to gourmet dishes like the Super Eckmuhl, a galette filled with potato, lardons, onions and double Reblochon cheese. Yes my friends, this is a yummy heart attack on a plate! Other dishes include salads, moules frites(only on Tuesdays), French oysters, etc., but I would stick to the crepes and galettes as they are divine. La Creperie also serves a really tasty dry French cider, which is a perfect accompaniment to the food. I’m salivating right now, thinking of the dry pressed apples offsetting the lovely cheesy goodness — yummers! The staff are great, always friendly and attentive, especially the French owner/manager. A really lovely fellow! The venue is decked out with a lovely Brittany style décor, so it’s easy to forget you are in Sheung Wan, HK. It does get busy both lunch and dinner, so do book or be ready to wait.
