For this type of «all you can eat» style japanese buffet, it’s about variety and decent quality but can’t expect to be sushi/sashimi japanese restaurant quality. We came here for a farewell party and we had party of 13. The seating was very tight for that many of us. Sushi quality is decent and there are grill items, udon, tempura and many more. For a big group like that which cost only 250 person on sat, it’s sure worth it. If you want some high quality jap food then this is not the place to go.

I had bookmarked this place to go to if we ever were in the area as a noteable place to eat some sushi. We showed up at 6:30PM on a Saturday and despite not having a wait for the two of us, this place was packed. Full, to the brim, a butt for every chair, jammed… let me not diminish the understanding of how busy this place was. We were a touch confused at first, but note that this is an ALLYOUCANEAT sushi establisment. Different than we are use to in the US, you do not go up to get food, you fill out the forms and the all you can eat sushi comes to you. It is also ALLYOUCANDRINK on soft drinks and such, which you physically get up to go get at the communal fridge area. So once you get seated, you flip through the tear out pages of their big book. Pages are clumped together, so you kind of have to flip through and find the different clumps of pages, with different clumps of pages having different stuff(fried, seafood, appetizers, sushi, sashimi, noodles, etc). The book seems disorganized a bit, but you will figure it out when you start looking at the book. There is alot of variety on the menu and there is also desert. So when you find something you want, mark it on the page and how many orders of it, mark your table number as well on each page and leave on your table or hand to one of the many servers running about. They will wisk off your orders and POOF… your food will magically arrive! Fill out additional forms when you want to order more. The restuarant is very busy and despite the chaos of lots of people, you can tell the staff and its operation run like clockwork and are very very organized. There is a two hour time limit on seating and like clockwork, there was a lead guy who comes around and lets you know about the time and wants to make sure you got everything you ordered and hands you a bill to be paid. The cost for dinner was in the ballpark of $ 250HKD per person. It is certainly a good value if AYCE is your thing. We thought the sushi was good. Sashmi pieces of salmon, tuna and toro were good. Small portions, but good quality for what we would expect from an all you can eat joint. The fried oysters were my personal favorite. Clearly there was a local crowd at this restaurant and you can tell it is a neighborhood gem.

Woohoo! First time having AYCE(AKA 放題) in HK. Came out very satisfied! Please make reservation when coming, the AYCE is available at 2 hour interval. 7 of us got here for 8pm — 10pm block and were seated right away. Go through the booklets of available items(I’d say close to 50 different types, ranging from tempuras, grilled, sashimi, handrolls, rolls, fresh entrees, appetizers, seafood and dessert, etc.) and make your order. We were ready to explode by the time we were done. Grand total(with 10% service charge. $ 1280HKD). Next time, I’m bringing the village.
