Food: Been here a few times before and the sashimi is good! Generally, I would get the sashimi chirashi(sashimi over rice) or the sashimi with shrimp chirashi. The sets comes with egg, miso soup(for $ 10 can change to clam soup), side salad of vermicelli and pickled veggies, pickled veggies. Service: Quick, efficient service. Price: Sets are in the $ 100+ range depending on what you order. Quite worth it. Tip: There are lines, even though they are quick, so plan ahead to grab a number when the first person in your party gets there.

I was blown away my first time here but not so much my second visit. I think it has to do with timing. We were there when they’re about to close. I’d recommend not to go around closing time. What I get there, I usually get the TOROBOWL then add UNI to it and mix/stir. BOMB!!! That’s probably the only thing I’d go back for. I was greedy and wanted seconds. Good toro and good uni for reasonable price! Can’t beat that. Interesting day, the owner there talked us into getting FISHVAGINA, saying that the ladies love it because it’s good for their skin. I wasn’t adventurous that day so the boys had them. Well, let’s just say they didn’t take a second bite. For texture, they said it’s interesting, once it hits your mouth, it just completely melts. I’ll stick to my TOROBOWL with UNI.

This is one of my favourite, favourite places for quick sushi rice, for a decent budget, and fresh tuna. This is actually one of the places I come to when I can’t think of what else to have for dinner, it never fails me. It’s a small restaurant, really packed, sometimes with a line up — thus that’s when i normally get take outs. They have a big selection of sushi rice– menu is progressively getting bigger each time i go. They started off with just a few items, tuna rice, negitoro, sliced tuna, uni, botan ebi, and more. They are always fresh, they have this sauce that goes really well with the toro rice, sometimes i don’t even need to add soya sauce/wasabi. The prices around around $ 120 — $ 150 for a plate. It is a pretty good deal, considering the dishes are quite large and the portions of fish is generous. If they had a nicer store, i think it would be even more popular than it is now.
