Jimmy’s Kitchen has been serving classic British Colonial cuisine in Hong Kong since 1928; after over 80 years, Jimmy’s still remains one of the city’s most highly renowned and beloved culinary institutions. The old photographs hanging on the walls, the immaculate table setting, the mood lighting and the meticulous service all ensure that guests feel at home. The contemporary wooden L-​shaped bar creates a comfortable area for patrons to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city.

History

Established in 1928.

Jimmy’s Kitchen Central has been serving international food since 1928 and is a highly renowned culinary institution. The menu offers a full array of international dishes ranging from English bangers and mash, to Chinese fried rice, to Indian curries. The newly built wine cellar holds more than 400 bottles of wines of rare vintages from some of the world’s finest vineyards. Jimmy’s Kitchen Kowloon opened on Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui in 1969 moving later in 1982 to first floor of Kowloon Center at Ashley Road, and in 2008 to ground floor of the same building, its current home.

The restaurant offers a pleasant dining venue for both locals and tourists. It has been serving customers for generations and many of them still come back for anniversaries or to enjoy their favourite classic dish. Jimmy’s Kitchen is not just a restaurant, it’s a place full of memories.

Jimmy’s uses an imported specially designed high temperature broiler (to 650°C) to prepare our steaks, this gives the meat a f
