Skewed

The skewed is screwed. At least somehow the quality of service and food delivery screwed up. Maybe it was good before but last night I was disappointed by the service and food.
First of all, alcohol is pricey here with little choices. Only a few options of sake and one type of draft standard beer. For a yakitori, this seems to be on an extreme low end.
As for the food, it took a while to prepare. I waited for a long time for the food while my beer gradually turned warm. It just sounded sad. The food was not extraordinary. Most meats are thick making it very chewy on the bad side. And the thickness of the meat probably contributed to the slowness of the cook. The beef skewers had a strong starch residual left.
The place might be short staffed as well. As I have waited a long time for cold dishes that required no immediate cooking. Asking for water or bill required many reminder to the waiting staffs.
Overall I was disappointed to have wasted the time and money. But I do enjoy trying out restaurant and discovering the good ones from the bad. With this visit, now I know one more to skip, and making the good ones the better choices.
I could see that people will come to visit as there are plenty of good reviews. Perhaps more people may leave their opinion here. This restaurant might be good before, but service deteriorated? I hope someone else may tell me I am wrong…

All the skewed are good, but you have to expect a long waiting time. On the list of food that we’ve ordered, two didn’t come and they didn’t notify us until I told them when we asked for the bill. I guess they just missed out the order. we have to wait for super long. Other than the time issue, the taste is good, the service is good too. The price is average, not too expensive :)
