Cool little bar located at a residential building in central. Be aware that code to the door changes every week but you can call them to get access. Drinks are okey and the entrance with the Buddha statues is much cooler then the rest of the place. There could definitely be some work done on the terrace since they always have to close it down as soon as it rains, which happens a lot during summer in Hongkong. And one of the reasons to go here is to sit out on the terrace.

I hate to say it since I have lived in HK for so long but I don’t think that the Chinese in China know how to cook Chinese food! Where is prawn toast, san choi bow, the lemon chicken, the honey beef, the sweet and sour pork and of course the honey prawns?! If you agree with me then you will LOVE this place! This is the restaurant I have been looking for for so many years. Oh and btw service is great, food reasonably priced and they have a nice outdoor area that turns into a bar later in the evening

Excellent! The service was stellar. The atmosphere was perfect. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious and cocktails were strong. I can’t wait to come back. I ordered a cocktail and then decided I wanted a beer. The manager said no problem anything you want. He was incredibly accommodating. Must visit!

After a few drinks over happy hour with a bud, we decided to check out this little spot. Its hard to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Stumbling for about 5 minutes, we find it… yipee! We put in the magic numbers(code) which change every week, and the gates unlock. The codes aren’t hard to get access to… just give them a ring and they’d be happy to provide. I don’t think this weekly code change is by any means a snooty, we’re too cool for you thing. Maybe just for security purposes since it is, after all, a residential building. There was a gentleman sitting in the hallway looking at us… we both looked so confused, and then he smiled and just said, ‘upstairs ladies… enjoy!’ haha I guess our fun was so apparent and he didn’t wanna disturb it with real conversation. We get upstairs and its a whole new world. Not grungy, but clean. We walk further in to see a few tables and a nice, big, bar. Yes! theres an outdoor space! We opted to have a table inside because it started to drizzle and we didn’t want to get wet. The vibes inside are very chill. The menu of drinks are amazing. Lots of Chinese inspired drinks I can tell. Typhoon 8 was my choice of poison. I feels it to be a Chinese version of a Dark and Stormy. Rum, Ginger Beer, and lime… yum! My friend on the other hand, choose a drink called Fuk Yu… hhhmm…I think it was something along the lines of VSOP… chocolate…and maple syrup?! haha She loved it! This place also serves food, but since we had eaten already, we just drank, and drank some more. The food going to other tables did look good though! I’d be sure to try it during my next visit.

On the top floor of an old residential building on Hollywood Road across the street from the escalator(entrance is by door code; call 23368812 as it changes every week) is the now-very popular week and weekend hangout Fu Lu Shou. With its central location, massive rooftop terrace, open plan kitchen, this restaurant/bar is perfect for a sit down meal or just a casual place to meet for drinks. The décor is a sort of fun ode to Asian kitsch with Buddha statues lining up the outside corridor you can’t help smile once you enter — and the staff are similarly upbeat, cool characters. Food is serious business here. The Boss’s Honey Prawns are to die for, sweet, spicy, delectable little morsels that go down REALLY well with the«Jo Sun» Cocktail — vodka, fresh lemon and ginger, vinegar and sweet chilli. Everything here is about balance, fresh ingredients and just a good old home — made home — school vibe. They don’t have an «official» website yet but we’re told they’re working on so keep checking their official facebook page for updates, menus, events:
