Super slow service while the staff spend their time making drinks for each other instead of serving customers

I have been going to this location on and off for years. In the last few months I’ve noticed an incredibly surly staff member who is just miserable every time I see her. I’m a very friendly, polite, and patient customer so when faced with staff that is rude — the contrast cannot be more obvious. Several of my interactions with this barista I just wrote off as her having a bad or stressful day. Despite the fact that she consistently makes my order weak, I have only complained once for genuine fear she would sabotage my order. Today, through no fault of either mine nor hers, my card did not scan properly. Once it was resolved(and bear in mind I waited patiently and was kind and friendly) she then proceeded to make my order weak — and with decaf. There was no mistaking it — there was not one single drop of caffeine in my alleged 4 shot americano. I’ve worked in the service industry as well and it takes repeated bad service for me to feel angered or upset. It can be a tough gig and I’m always sensitive to the fact that a total jackass of a customer might ruin you for the next. However, I’ve given this staff member all the patience and understanding that I have. I fully take this personally as I am unfailingly *nice* to this woman, and it seems that she is persistently rude, uncommunicative, and a borderline sociopath. Who gives decaf coffee to customers who smile and greet them and never complain? I actually called the location to make a personal complaint and, surprise, this staff member answered the phone, leading me to believe that she is part of the management team at this location. If the team leaders behave like abrasive, vindictive teenagers — there is no way in hell I would ever go back here or allow friends and family to either. Awful.

I stop at this Starbucks location 2 – 3 times a week and I have to say that their morning crew is AWESOME! They are quick, cheerful and lots of fun. The ONLY downside to this location is the parking lot — loads of speed bumps and the sbux is all the way across the complex from the exit :(
