The drive thru is very slow compared to other locations. The ladies at the window seemed frustrated and were not very happy or friendly to me. I am a regular at the Coppersmith location in Richmond and I must say the team in Coquitlam could use a few pointers from the well run Tim Hortons on the other side of the city!

Horrible Tim Horton’s! I have ordered a grilled cheese many times and 99% of the time, the cheese is not melted at all and I have to go back in and get them to fix it, this is very inconvenient considering most times I’m in a rush. One time I saw them take my grilled cheese that I gave back to them and stick it back on the griller, this is food safe concern because I had already had my hands all over that grilled cheese. What if I had licked it? You really have to wonder what these peoples standards are when it comes to safe food preparation. Another time when I went there I went back in to show them that the cheese on my grilled cheese was not even close to being melted and the worker argued with me saying«that the cheese will never melt». First off, you NEVER argue with a costumer and second off, all cheese melts so clearly she had no idea what she was doing and lacked training. I also feel the need to mention another time I was there when I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, the worker at the drive thru window told me that there was no more chocolate chip cookies left and that they only had one that was all burnt and old, and she held it up, not wearing gloves or anything and she had just been handling money as well. She said I could still have it but why would I want that? This is another food safe concern. This Tim Horton’s truly needs a couple lessons on safe food preparation as well as how to treat costumers and prepare food properly. I would suggest either finding a different Tim Horton’s or better yet, just not go at all!

I completely forgot about Tim Horton’s for a while, Starbucks has been on every corner and just easier to get to for my java hit. Yesterday morning I was starving and went through the drive through for a bagel and cream cheese. Damn, I forgot how good those are… glutten and carbs galore but who’s counting. I also realized that I came out of there spending a fraction of what I have been spending at Starbucks and the coffee actually hits the spot. I never leave SB for under $ 10 and I rolled out of Timmies for under $ 5.00 sh*t that really adds up. This location will be my new breaky location on the way to work.
