This tea shop has great tea and friendly knowledgeable service! I wish I had bought more. Note to the owner: have you considered an online store?. I will definitely be back if I am ever again in Brugge.

This is where I buy all my teas. The usual black Assam, splendid silky Darjeeling first flush, tangy Yunnan But they also have less usual teas like Mate. Or try the owner’s unique blends, e.g. No Comment n°5: base of Japanese Sencha with lemon and orange peels, or Relax: same base of Japanese Sencha but spiced with kardemom, cinamon, etc. Lots of tea accessories as well.

This is a wonderful shop to visit for any tea lover, or would be(like me) tea lover and now converting with the aid of so many interesting flavours and varieties of tea. The shop mixes their own loose leaf teas of all varieties: Black, Green, Rooibos tea with lemongrass, pepper, lemon, orange, dried berries, eucalyptus etc etc. The owners of the shop are true connoisseurs who aim to find a tea that suits your needs. We actually bought some tea three days running on our stay in Bruges, eventually leaving with 8 varieties between my parents and myself. My fiancé was suffering with a nasty head cold and we were recommended a tea called ‘Singing in the Rain’ a wonderful blend, which is definitely medicinal though an acquired taste. All in all the Theehuis must have well over 100 different varieties of teas and also an amazing range of teapots, from beautiful cast iron to fantastical shapes and ornamental designs.
