Woolworths Dog Swamp

I find the layout of this place pretty annoying. The people who work here are nice and helpful but I always end up walking around for ages and ages because the layout is not intuitive.
They also do not ever seem to have good deals — $ 2.78 for a bunch of spring onions? who do they think I am? a millionaire?!

Yep. Like the earlier review notes, pretty much every visit results in something scanning higher than the shelf price. Querying this results in an inevitable argument with staff about their own (and in fact national consumer policy) that if it scans higher than ticket/​shelf price, you get it for free. Today’s were spice that scanned 10c higher, and sugar that scanned 4c higher. For the one vigilant shopper, Woolworths are raking in the benefit of false advertising from thousands of others. Even though I get mine for free (after an argument) it stinks to know so many others are getting ripped off. Boo Woolworths. Boo and hiss.

Two stars is an average of two things I look for in a supermarket — location, parking, and stock range, the other is service quality.
The first part is the only thing stopping this from being a one star review, there is loads of car parks and alway a supply of trolleys and the stock range is fairly decent.
My main problem with service is a couple of things, one on my most recent trip I want to highlight is simple understanding of how to pack groceries — detergents and cleaning products DO NOT go in the same bag as fresh fruit and veg or any food product for that matter! If the person behind me had not been so irritable that they had to wait already (and bigger then me) then I would have pointed this out to you then and there. This is something that should have been covered in training.
The second has happened way to often for my liking, there are more then one type of red apple!, all mushrooms are not the same!, oranges and man drains are different!!! I used to correct the check out person but the looks I get now I just don’t bother.
Will I return, yes for convenience of the location.
