I would only ever shop in this store if I wanted to stock up on cheap toys for my sister’s pet puppy, C-Jay. He can’t get enough of squeaky rubber bones and fluffy animals far smaller than him. But recently I had a good look at what’s on their shelves here and, true to its name it actually sells a few little gems. Like this fab pop art print on canvas that I found for a mere $ 15 featuring seven ye olde English telephone booths in rainbow hues. That will look lovely on the coloured feature wall in my abode. There’s also an array of useful kitchen utensils in silicone to brighten up your kitchen and, having used a few of them I can tell you it’s not the same disposable stuff that you might find in other«two dollar shops». The rows of plastic flowers out the front of the shop don’t really need to be here as they send of the wrong message I think, that this store is packed with tack. It isn’t. There are some great little finds. And as for it’s logo, go Helvetica, guys. That ghastly yellow and blue logo doesn’t do you justice.
