Seriously this is my fav burger joint they do amazing at catering for the gluten free and celiac crowd. There chips are crispy but like little fluffy clouds inside. I had the QVB which consists of a beef pattie, bacon, egg, tomato, lettuce, onions and relish but I was equally tempted by there vegan options. Highly reccomend this place it’s one of the better ones

Have driven past this cute corner burger joint so many times so I was pretty happy when we finally dropped in for a bite after the beach! I have high expectations of burgers given the large number of burger joints we have in Adelaide so the pressure was on for Flipside. I opted for the Beef Classic with cheddar($ 12.50) — the bun was great, beef patty flavour some and overall was not greasy. My partner got the avocado and bacon beef burger($ 14.50) and seemed to be pretty happy with it. We shared some chips which were average(I was expecting hand cut chips which I usually find at other burger joints). The burgers were fresh & tasty but didn’t have the WOW factor I was expecting. Would I go back? mmm probably not, I think Grilld would get my vote for next time I’m craving a burger!

Wow is this place going downhil or what! Having been big fans of Flipside since they opened in Nth Freo many years ago the ongoing deterioration in quality can no longer be ignored… After our chips were delivered with a cheery«sorry I dropped these off the top» but did not replace said handful… we did not miss them as they were hard as rocks having been cooked many times before. See photo. The burgers were thrown together badly and same old menu as years before but not the same size ingredients. Lots of cheap shit like iceberg lettuce but very little good stuff like chicken… Shame as there are now so many many other burger bars to visit and spend those hard earned dollars nowadays… Time to review your product Flipside and your competition or are you too busy counting cash every night?

One of my favourite Friday night things to do. Would come here every Friday if I was a local! You can order Flipside and take it to the Stanley for a pint or two. That’s the beauty of it! Burgers are big and fresh, chips are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. You can choose wholemeal or white and they also offer gluten free options. Any burger can be made to your liking. Sauces are spectacular! The burger patties are so tasty and juicy. The vegetarian options are also delicious!

The best burgers in town! Highly recommend the garden party vego burger add avo and egg! The ciabatta buns are delicious. All sourced from local produce. Highly recommend the chips and sweet chilli Mayo… Perfection! Place your order and have a drink while waiting for your burgers to be delivered next door at the Stanley

Favourite Friday night take away treat! The best burgers in Perth in my opinion, they are freshly cooked while you wait, and then added to a crusty bun with fresh crisp salad, amazing relish and whatever twist you have gone with, be it blue cheese, or chilli jam! The taxi c.a.b and pear and parmesan chicken burgers are delish too! Not to mention the most perfect chips, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the aioli is a must! Great vibe in the burger bar and the bonus is you can go for a beer next door at the Stanley and have your burger and chips brought into you, genius! They open Waiting times are longer on Friday nights around dinner time, but just ring ahead and order.

I am seriously disappointed with my last burger here… since when is it ok to serve a burger that takes up less than HALF the bun!!! Never.

I love Flipside. They are my favourite burger place in all of Perth. Keep it up and it’ll stay that way! Love the red hot burger, not for the weak-tastebudded! And the chips with aioli, oh the chips! All burgers made fresh to order, beautiful simple décor, what else could I ask for? Oh more chairs, maybe!

With some many burger places in Perth these days the competition is fierce and it has elevated my expectations of what a gourmet burger should be. Flipside has decent burgers but I prefer Grilld or Jus Burgers personally for a similar price. Flipside is a small place, which encourages take away rather then sit down and enjoy with a group of friends

I agree with Nathan, I’m put off at not having the option of a wholemeal bun. If you like white bread though, Flipsides buns are good. They’re baked crusty on top and fluffy inside, and they just feel healthier than eating the squishy type you’d find at a home BBQ. Unlike Grill’d and Jus locales, Flipside is less of a hangout place. The restaurant only accommodates a dozen or so people by way of a communal table and a bench that runs along the window. Flip side is more for local take-aways or if you just want to hop in for a quick, easy feed en route. You don’t plan to meets friends here for a date. If I stop by, the ‘Garden Party’ is better than most veggie versions out there.

Oh how I love you Kenny Burger! With your spicy chickpea and sweet potato patty, red chili jam and fresh garnish! Thank you Flipside for this perfect combination of yum and fresh, this is certainly up there on my list of favourites. Paired with their thick cut chips(is a bit of a carb over load) but they are still deliciously crunchy and warm inside, I’ve never been disappointed and I’ve been eating here for a while! It’s a great place to eat at with their long wooden table which makes things a little more social(sometimes a little awkward) but they have a good variety of burgers, the food is always great and I’m always happy and satisfied once I’ve left.

I don’t think the burgers here are as good as Jus in Subi or Grill’d in Mt Lawley, but they’re still okay. Sometimes the ingredients can be a bit sloppy and I get annoyed that they don’t have a wholemeal bun alternative. But for a cheap and easy burger(that’s more on the healthy side), these do the job. Hand-cut chips are the big win here — coupled with an aioli and devoured over a few beers at the Stanley next door, you got to be leaving with a smile on your face.

There’s no other way to say it, Flipside is delish. Whilst it is just another gourmet burger bar, it’s roll seems to differ from that of the others and the chutney was sensational, Flipside’s burgers have something that gives them a little extra flavour and so they tend to stand out from most. Unfortunately their aioli made me feel a little sick, it seems to be more sour cream with a hint of garlic than aioli and this was too thick and sickening for me. I will definitely be back for their burgers though! They are very filling and super yummy.
